vanadium metal complexes are VO3в€’ and VO2+ which have oxidation states of

third test tube, 20 drops of (.2 M) NaBr were added. Then, to drops of (.2 M)
NaNO2 were added into the fourth test tube. A small portion of Fe(NH4)2(SO4)2 *
6H2O was added into the fifth test tube. The sixth test tube had 20 drops of (.2 M)
H2Cr2O4 added, where the seventh test tube was the control tube with no additional
chemicals added. All the test tubes were left to react for 3 minutes and then heated in
a heated bath for approximately 20 minutes.

learning how to read, and how to spell. Morphemes are the building blocks that

of weeks now we have taken apart child s X language sample, and have studied her
usage on pragmatics, now we will be taking a closer look at her morpheme, and
syntax. The first step in analyzing Child X s usage on morphemes was to collect
data from her two videos that would allow us to gain further knowledge. In her first
video, child X had an MLU score of 2.3 resulting in stage III according to Brown s
stages of development. The second video of child X had an MLU score of 4.26
resulting in stage V. In both of these two video s child X used a couple of Brown s
14 morphemes. In video one, child x used three out of the fourteen that Brown has
listed, child X used prepositions, plural, and lastly uncontractible auxiliary.
Prepositions were said in utterances 3, 20, 27, 35, 38, and 44, in these utterances

differences within the plot when compared to the 1951 Disney movie adaptation. One
of the differences between these two adaptations is that in the book, Tweedledee and
Tweedledum never appear or are mentioned. In the movie, Tweedledee and
Tweedledum are included. This makes the reader/audience understand the text
differently because there are more characters incorporated into the movie that change
the plot. Adding new characters to the movie change the significance of those
characters, because they add new dialogue and actions to the plot. Another plot
difference between these two adaptations has to do with the caterpillar. In the book,
the caterpillar crawls away from Alice. However, the caterpillar turns into a butterfly
in the movie. This is significant to the plot in both the movie and book, because they

Her book s The House on Mango Street and Loose Woman: Poems enthralled me the
most, and gave me a sense of her genre and style. They portrayed her concentration on
culture or ethninticity and gender issues. A Stanza from her poem Loose Woman
really tickled my fancy and is an excellent representation of these two themes: They

Throughout time, works of literature have often carried messages of great social
importance. It is essential to understand these significant themes and agendas in order

Burgess, there is much evidence supporting the idea of social or political warnings,
one could argue, about the functionality of society and those who govern said
