3. Cordillera Administrative Region (Filipino:
Rehiyong Pampangasiwaan ng Cordillera),
designated as CAR, is a region in the
Philippines in the island of Luzon.
The only landlocked region in the country, it
is bordered by the Ilocos Region in the west
and southwest, and by the Cagayan Valley on
the north, east, and southeast.

Known as the "Natural Dye Capital of the
Philippines“ .
Natural dyes are extracted from the barks,
leaves, fruits, and roots of these plants, and used
to color food, beverages, textiles, cosmetics,
furniture, and pharmaceutical products.

private museum which houses the collections and
mementos of the Brillantes family with a strong
manifestation of the Spanish culture.

most popular river among the numerous rivers
criss-crossing the valleys of the province.
*Tugot ni Angalo - “Footprints of Angalo” a perpetua
monument of Angalo.The people believe this is a
real giant footprint in San Quintin.
*Sibud-Sibud Cave - This is located along the newl
constructed road of Tineg.
