the injury.
 Stop the bleeding!
 Determine the need for a doctor
 Remove foreign debris
 Sterilize the wound
 Apply a dressing and bandage to the
wound
STEPS TO STOP SEVERE BLEEDING
1.Lie down.
2.Remove any debris
3.Apply pressure steadily
4.Apply firm pressure directly to the
wound until the bleeding stops
5.Look for seepage from the wound.
6.Monitor the breathing.

If the person is unconcious, vomiting, or
bleeding from the mouth, place the person
on her/his side to prevent choking.
 2. Keep the person comfortably warm.
 3. DO NOT let the person eat or drink.
 4. Get medical help immediately.
