Biochips are small-scale devices analogous to integrated circuits that are constructed of or used to analyze organic molecules associated with living organisms. There are two main types of biochips: 1) those constructed of large organic molecules like proteins that can perform data storage and processing like computers, and 2) those capable of performing rapid small-scale biochemical reactions to identify things like gene sequences, pollutants, or other biochemical constituents. Biochips work by emitting a light beam through a fluidic channel that objects passing through will distort, allowing detection of small intensity changes. While biochips raise privacy issues and concerns about control, they also have advantages like identifying individuals uniquely, performing thousands of biochemical reactions quickly, and aiding in medical diagnosis and analytical
Basically A biochip is a collection of miniaturized test sites (microarrays) arranged on a solid substrate that allows many tests to be performed at the same time in order to achieve higher throughput and pace. Typically, a biochip's surface area is no larger than a fingernail. Like a computer chip that can perform millions of mathematical operations in one second, a biochip can perform thousands of biological reactions, such as decoding genes in few seconds.

The first biochip was invented by an American company namely Affymetrix, and the product of this company is GeneChip (DNA microarrays). These products comprise the number of individual DNA sensors used for sensing defects. Biochip plays an essential role in the field of biology research like systems biology as well as disease biology while the number of clinical applications is rising. It is a set of microarrays which are placed on a strong surface of a substrate to allow thousands of reactions to be performed in less time. The development of biochip mainly includes the combination of molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics. Biochips are used for analyzing organic molecules connected with a live organism. This power-point presentation discusses what is Biochip, types, biochips and their uses, disadvantages, and its applications.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.

Sachpazis:Terzaghi Bearing Capacity Estimation in simple terms with Calculati...Dr.Costas Sachpazis
Terzaghi's soil bearing capacity theory, developed by Karl Terzaghi, is a fundamental principle in geotechnical engineering used to determine the bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This theory provides a method to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil, which is the maximum load per unit area that the soil can support without undergoing shear failure. Biochip Informatics Technology For Electronic & Communication Engineering
1. INTRODUCTION
Biochip, small-scaledevice, analogous to an integrated circuit,
constructed of or used to analyze organic molecules associated
with living organisms. One type of theoreticalbiochip is a small
device constructed of large organic molecules, such as proteins,
and capable of performing the functions (data storage,
processing) of an electroniccomputer. The other type of biochip is
a small device capable of performing rapid small-scale
biochemicalreactions for the purpose of identifying gene
sequences, environmental pollutants, airborne toxins, or other
biochemical constituents.
Biochip Informatics Technology For Electronic
& Communication Engineering
2. WORKING PRINCIPLE
The biochip consists of a fluidic channel and a curved
waveguide buried in the glass. A Gaussian beam emitted by a
single mode fiber is coupled into the biochip waveguide and
diverges to illuminate a small length of the fluidic channel.
When objects pass through the fluidic channel, they
momentarily distort the beam intensity profile. The light
coming out of the biochips is then refocused onto a four-quad
detector to monitor small changes of intensity
3. BIOCHIP DISADVANTAGES
They raise criticalissues of personal privacy.
They mark the end of human freedom and dignity.
They may not be supported by large % of people.
There is a danger of turning every man, women, and Child into a
controlled slave.
They can be implanted into one’s body without their knowledge.
BIOCHIP ADVANTAGES
To rescue the sick.
To find lost people.
To locate downed children and wandering Alzheimer’s Patients.
To identify person uniquely.
They can perform thousands of biologicalreactions operations in
few seconds.
In monitoring health condition of individuals in which they are
specificallyemployed.
They can perform thousands of biochemicalreactions.
4. BIOCHIP APPLICATION
Biochip analytical technology shows high throughput property for
multi-samples measurement, so can reduce the required amount of
samples and time used for determination. The technology quickly
developed in recent years and has been applied in medical diagnosis
and other analyticalareas including gene chip, protein chip, lab-on-a-
chip, tissue microarray, cell microarray, and carbohydrate microarray
and so on. This paper overviewedthe current development of biochip
technology, and explored the perspective of its application.
