This document outlines the three stages of the Understanding by Design (UBD) framework for developing technology curriculum. Stage 1 is identifying desired results including enduring understandings, essential questions, and potential student misunderstandings. Stage 2 focuses on assessment evidence including performance tasks and how students will reflect. Stage 3 involves planning the learning including an engaging hook, equipping students, experiences to explore the content, and opportunities to rethink and revise understanding.
