The document discusses lumbar-pelvic hip complex (LPHC) impairment and associated injuries. It describes the functional anatomy of the LPHC and common overactive and underactive muscles that can contribute to LPHC dysfunction. Assessment findings and corrective exercise strategies are provided for different types of LPHC impairment patterns like excessive forward lean and low back arches or rounding.
There are evidence in History of treatment by Passive stretching techniques.
Over past 30-40 years many therapists have worked to identify and learn the techniques which are are more suitable and effective for the patient’s problem.
Joint mobilisations and manipulations techniques are used to safely stretch or snap structures to restore normal joint mechanics with less trauma.
Myofascial release refers to the manual
technique for stretching the fascia and
releasing bonds between fascia and
Lintegument, musles, and bones, with the goal of
eliminating pain, increasing range of motion
and balancing the body.
Biomwchanics of wrist and hand
- Kinematics and Kinetics of joints including flexion and extension mechanism
-Pathomechanics

I was at lunch the other day with my medical biller. I am not her only client and she has a long list of specialties that she serves. I found out over salads that she has been suffering with lower back pain for two to three years. When she asked for my opinion, I requested that she give me a little history.

Injury Prevention Workshop for Runners & Triathletes Kevin Christie
Dr. Christie has spoken to many training groups throughout south Florida including Boca Raton Triathletes, Friends in Training, Team in Training, The Galloway Group, Chi Running, and has been featured on The Rockstar Triathlete Podcast. He is certified in Active Release Technique (A.R.T), A.R.T Biomechanics, Graston Technique, and Kinesio® Taping, which are the leading soft-tissue diagnostic and treatment protocols that deal with over-use strain that plagues today’s society. The ART Biomechanics certification allows Dr. Christie to evaluate patients running and walking gait for any biomechanical deficiencies that could lead to altered performance or injury cause. Dr. Christie has been the Chiropractic/Sport Medicine Physician for multiple football academies in South Florida. He is currently the Sports Chiropractor for XPE Combine Prep Program in Boca Raton, FL. This role includes treating the college football players during the NFL Combine Prep Program and during the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. He also has worked on over 300 NFL players and numerous MLB and NHL players for these strength & conditioning companies during their off-season Pro NFL/MLB programs

New Directions in Targeted Therapeutic Approaches for Older Adults With Mantl...i3 Health
i3 Health is pleased to make the speaker slides from this activity available for use as a non-accredited self-study or teaching resource.
This slide deck presented by Dr. Kami Maddocks, Professor-Clinical in the Division of Hematology and
Associate Division Director for Ambulatory Operations
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.
Target Audience
Hematology/oncology fellows, attending faculty, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Learning Objectives
1.) Identify clinical and biological prognostic factors that can guide treatment decision making for older adults with MCL
2.) Evaluate emerging data on targeted therapeutic approaches for treatment-naive and relapsed/refractory MCL and their applicability to older adults
3.) Assess mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies for MCL and their implications for treatment selection
