This result has enabled me to
see what age the people who
watch music videos are. The
results has shown that the most
popular age range is 16-20, this
has gave me a target audience
to aim to create my music video
towards, so that its suitable and
created for the right audience

2. Although this research showed that
from this audience music videos
are mostly popular with females,
but I am still planning on focusing
my video on targeting both males
and females. I don’t feel its
relevant as nothing in my initial
idea suggests its targeted to a
specific gender.

plot/storyline. This has gave me an
idea to try and think of how I can try

song for the music video, by looking at

prefer live footage, however if I decide to
use live footage it will be complicated to
ensure the music syncs with the footage in
order for it to look professional.

the theme for the video, how fast the
shots should be and and idea of that the
storyline should involve.

popular length for a music
video is 3-4 minutes. With
this it has given me an idea
to make my music video
last this long so that it
prevents the audience
from possibly getting bored
if its any longer.

extremely useful. I had a
few initial ideas of what
song to use but I wasn’t
sure. I asked the audience
what song they would like
to see a music video be
made for and some of the
suggestions helped me
make a final decision. One
of the songs suggested by
the audience was
‘Millionaires’- The Script,
this was one of the songs I
was already thinking about
doing, so after seeing this
feedback it made me make
the final decision to use
that song.
