This is the first question on my questionnaire. I wanted
this question to be on my questionnaire as I wanted to
find out roughly what age are the people that I have
questioned about my magazine and of what part of my
target audience do they fall under. From this question I
have found out that most of the people that have
answered my questionnaire were ages under 18 years
old. However there were also some people from other
ages ranges such as 18-25, 36-40 and 41-45 years old
so generally I had a good range of people from all over
my target audience, so I could gain opinions on my
music magazine from all of them.
This graph shows all the different age
ranges that were on the questionnaire
and the results.
4. Q2. WOULD YOU BUY MY MUSIC MAGAZINE
IF YOU SAW IT IN A SHOP?
This is the second question in my questionnaire. I
have included this question as I wanted to find out if
people from my target audience would actually buy
my music magazine. From these results I can see
that 80% of people that I have questioned would buy
my music magazine if they saw it in a shop and only
20% said that they wouldn’t. This tells me that people
within my target audience are actually willing to buy
my music magazine if they came across it in a shop.
Which means that the front cover would attract them
to buy the magazine.
This a pie chart showing the results. I
have displayed the results in a pie chart
as it shows the results clearly with the
percentages.

I have included this question in my questionnaire as I
wanted to find out if people from my target audience
think that my music magazine is good value for money.
From the results I have found out that 80% of the
people that I have questioned think that my music
magazine is good value for money and they feel like
the price is suitable. However 20% of people have said
that they do not think that my music magazine is good
value for money and that it’s too expensive, but this
answer was more common within younger people in
my target audience. From these results I can see that
the majority of people don’t have a problem with the
price of the magazine but some people would prefer if
it was cheaper.
I have displayed the results in a bar chart
so that the results are clear and easy to
see.
6. Q4. DO YOU THINK MY MUSIC MAGAZINE
LOOKS PROFESSIONAL? WHY?
This is another question that I have included in my questionnaire. I
have included this question in my questionnaire as I wanted to find
out if people within my target audience think that my magazine looks
professional. Everyone that has answered my questionnaire thought
that my music magazine looked professional. This means that my
music magazine resembles a real music magazine , which could
mean that it will attract the audience. Yes

I have also asked my target audience not only if they think if
my music magazine looks professional but also why do they
think that. The most popular answer that people have said is
the general format of the magazine, but other answers
included things such as the colour scheme, because it
attracts the reader and because it has all the right
conventions. I have displayed all the results on a bar chart so
the results can be clearly seen.

This is another question that I have included in my
questionnaire. I have included this question as I
wanted to find out what would people within my
target audience rate my music magazine to be on a
scale of 1-10. From looking at the results I can see
that people have rated my music magazine quite
high as it was mostly 9, 10 and 8 however there was
one 6. This means that they like my music magazine
and they are attracted to it and would buy it.
I have displayed all my results on a bar chart, so that
the results are clearly displayed.
8. Q6. DO THE MAGAZINE PAGES LOOK LIKE

MAGAZINE?

This is another question that I have included in my
questionnaire. I have included this question, as I wanted
to find out if people I have questioned that have looked
at my magazine pages think that they all look like they
come from the same magazine. From the results I can
see that 80% of people I have questioned have said that
they think that my magazine pages look like they belong
from the same magazine. However 20% of people have
said that they do not look like they belong from the
same magazine, and when I asked one of the people
why they think that they said that the double page
spread doesn’t fit in with the rest of the pages. This
could mean that I could improve my double page spread
so that it looks more like the front cover and the
contents page.
I have displayed the results in a pie
chart so that the percentages are easy
to see.

This is another question that I have included in my
questionnaire. I have included this question as I
wanted to find out from my target audience what they
think is the target audience of my magazine just by
looking at the pages. Most people that I have
questioned said that they think my magazine is aimed
at people between the ages 18-25 years old, and one
person said 26-30 years old. This means that by
looking at the magazine pages people think it is
aimed at young adults which is the younger group of
people within my target audience.
I have displayed the results on a bar chart so
that all the different ages that were available
on the questionnaire are clearly shown.

page. Looking at the results I can see that 50% of people

feature are the feature articles, which was also the case for

This was the last question on my questionnaire and it was an
open question so the people that were answering my
questionnaires could write what they wanted. I have asked this
question as I wanted to find out what could I have improved on
and what could be changed to make my magazine pages better.
The most frequent answers included things such as the price of
the magazine, the colour scheme and the colour of the main
coverline. Other answers have included things such as making
the article longer, use brighter colours, change the layout of the
contents page and change the colour of the masthead. I have
also asked the people that have answered the question why
should I change the things that they have suggested and 45% of
people have said so it stands out more, 22% have said because
the back ground is too light another 22% of people have said
because the magazine is too expensive which was usually more
common within the younger people in my target audience and
10% have said that there weren’t that many question in the
article so I could include some more. All the results are
displayed on the graphs.
