By this act, Filipinos may have awareness and
appreciation of the noble deeds and ideals of our heroes
and other illustrious Filipinos, to instill pride in the
Filipino race and to rekindle the Filipino spirit through
the lessons of history, to have a nation whose people value
he past looking into the future.

Treaty of Paris in 1898 which
stipulated the relinquishment
or cession of the documents.

Congress shall establish a national language commission
composed of representatives of various regions and disciplines
which shall undertake, coordinate, and promote research for the
development, propagation, and preservation of Filipino and
other Philippine languages.

Conclusion:
Arts and culture are integral to nation building. To promote
and propagate the arts and cultural heritage of the country and
its different region, the state created the NCCA. Its six agencies
(CCP, NLP, NHCP, National Museum, National Archives and KWF)
ensure the promotion and preservation of the country’s heritage
in culture and the arts.

PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION ON CULTURE AND ARTS (1987) National Commission for Culture and the Arts After 5 years Part of the democratic thrust of President Cory Aquino, this commission was created by Executive Order No. 118 • Republic Act 7356 • It is the country’s overall policy making body, coordinating and grants-giving agency for the preservation, development, and promotion of the Philippine arts and culture.

NATIONAL HISTORICAL COMMISSION OF THE PHILIPPINES Created with a vision of a “Filipino society with citizens informed of their history, who love their country and are proud of their cultural heritage” Some of their works are the identification, conservation and restoration of historical sites around the different regions of the country.

By this act, Filipinos may have awareness and appreciation of the noble deeds and ideals of our heroes and other illustrious Filipinos, to instill pride in the Filipino race and to rekindle the Filipino spirit through the lessons of history, to have a nation whose people value he past looking into the future.
  • 15. National Museum Country’s repository of archaeological artifacts, national treasuresand rare specimens found and produced in the country. Operates the Museum of National History, National Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Anthropology and National Planetarium.

Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) R.A 7105 Congress shall establish a national language commission composed of representatives of various regions and disciplines which shall undertake, coordinate, and promote research for the development, propagation, and preservation of Filipino and other Philippine languages. – 1987 Constitution Art XIV Section 8 -
  • 20. Conclusion: Arts and culture are integral to nation building. To promote and propagate the arts and cultural heritage of the country and its different region, the state created the NCCA. Its six agencies (CCP, NLP, NHCP, National Museum, National Archives and KWF) ensure the promotion and preservation of the country’s heritage in culture and the arts.
