The characters in both The Great Gatsby and Chicago lie because they fear the law,
manipulate others and dislike the people they have become. Many people are scared
of what might happen to them when saying the truth so instead they tell them lies.
These lies that people make up can cause problems with things like witht the law,
people you care about, and changing what kind of person you are when in reality
you are a total different person. They do all those lis and not say the truth because
they can be scared of what can happen next and feel that with those lies and hiding the
truth can make them better people to others and themselves.
In both The Great Gatsby and Chicago the characters both fear the law since they say

Oprah, someone big right? It came from a fictional character in a comic book, Batman
the Dark Knight. Comics have become something greater than what people
consider them to be. Especially the characters portrayed in said comics. Comic
books are literally larger than life, the characters in these comics may have
superpowers or live in a place that would only exist in the craziest of dreams. But
they are written so well that it really does convince one to believe that a place like
this may actually exist and that anything can happen in it. This is how they get the
reader, into the comic; and because of this you are entertained. We read our favorite
comic books and take in the lessons written in each and every page. Such as
Batman. Batman is one of the greatest and well known heroes in the comic book
world. He has been very popular in pop culture throughout the years because of
television and movie adaptations.
When I was growing up I was first introduced to the Dark Knight by my dad when he

Contextual Analysis
Max Beckmann The Beginning (Fig.1) is an oil painting on canvas that measures
69x125 1/2 in. First titled Childhood, the paintings meaning was based on
Beckmann s dreams and his past. He combined these into a dreamlike realm with
an addition of imagination to create a relatable fairytale sequence. Using oil, brush
and bright colors, he created three panels separated by bold white space. The left
and right panel are the same size, unlike the middle which is much larger and
contains more detail and various meanings. The three panels contained sex,
innocence, and adolescence. Beckmann s primary focus appears to be the various
changes of a boy evolving into a man through a bizarre reality with imagery from his
dreams.
During post war his art begins to take on humorous details, which can be seen in
the Puss in Boots character, which he detailed in his diary on April 1946. I just had
an absurd and unpleasant dream in which somehow a Puss in Boots played a role
that made me mighty ridiculous . He was recognized as an Expressionist artist,
which can be seen in his use of brushstrokes and bold color choices. The Beginning
was one of his most autobiographical paintings out the 10 allegorical triptych
paintings he created during 1932 1950.

Communication can come in various forms. A person can write, speak, or even use
American Sign Language to communicate. Within communication itself, there are
various styles used and ways to receive feedback. To name a couple, two way
asymmetrical and two way symmetrical communication are two well know forms in
regards to Public Relations. Asymmetrical Communication happens when
professionals seek to pursue their publics into changing their opinions about certain
things. However, this attempt is usually unequal, given that professionals use
