CHOPS and investigate the effect of various flow parameters such as core
permeability and porosity, compressive strength, oil/water viscosity contrast,
confining pressure and injection rate. Modeling the wormhole development and
propagation will enable us be able to developing approximate Inflow Performance
Relationship (IPR) curves.
Sands blends have been developed by varying the ratios of aggregate, cementing
material and water to prepare synthetic cores of compressive strength, permeability
and porosity ranging from 500 1500 psi, 0.5 1.5 Darcy and 20 30% respectively.
Experimental setup is developed to simulate wormhole propagation during CHOPS
process. In this process water is injected at varying range of 0.1 to 10 ml/min using
a syringe pump into floating piston accumulator to drive the oil ahead of piston to 2
x 4 synthetic core in core holder at a confining pressure of 500 1500 psi. The
differential pressure across the core is monitored throughout the process. LabVIEW
is used for data acquisition, instrument control, measurement analysis and data
presentation.

OlabisiOnabanjo University Main Campus was surveyed usingelectrical resistivity
method to unravel the competent depth for structures foundation. The research was
also aim to delineate the lithological arrangement of the soil using this method.
The study area lies between Longitude N06В°55.389кћЊ N06В°55.384кћЊ and
Latitude E003В°55.001кћЊ and E003В°54.959кћЊ respectively. It lies in the Pre
Cambrian basement complex terrain of South western Nigeria. The rocks present in
Precambrian basement complex are mainly Granodiorite, Porphyroblastic Granite,
Migmatite Gneisses, Biotite Gneisses and Hornblende Gneiss. The Gneisses
constitute the major rocks by the other groups of rocks. The basement complex is one
of the three major litho petrologic components that make up the geology of Nigeria.
The study makes use of both Horizontal Resistivity Profiling (HRP) and Vertical

We can t believe how quickly week 4 has passed at camp with group 34!! We
started off our week by learning about some differences between machines and
robots before exploring various accessories and having a robot battle in Lego
Robotics and we topped off our busy Monday with an amazing trip the HKC
Petting Zoo, where we played with the adorable bunnies and goats, watched the pig
cool down in his pool, and picked up some flapping chickens! When we came back
