This experiment is to study and measure the enzyme activity of ОІ galactosidase in
the different concentrations of o Nitrophenylgalactoside (ONPG) using a
spectrophotometer. The spectrophotometer was also set at 420nm, a wavelength
which is best for recording the absorbance values for the experiment. From the results,
0.9mM ONPG solution has the highest absorbance and 0.1mM ONPG solution has
the least. Also, 0.5mM ONPG solution has the highest rate of enzyme activity and it
is the most efficient as the enzyme activity of the ONPG solution continues even
though the other concentrations of ONPG solution has already stopped the
enzymatic reactions as the substrate is already used up.

In the book, The Piano Lesson Augustus Wilson tells a story about his family who
is struggling with their past. The story begins with a Boy Willie coming up from
the South to bring up the idea of selling the family s legacy, a piano, which he will
sell to buy the land that his ancestors were slaves on. The only problem is that his
sister Bernice owns half the pianoand she doesn t wantto let him sell it. Throughout
the play Wilson portrays the theme that we needto forget our past in order to move
forward in life. We will always remember our past, but we should not let it limit us

times. During slavery Slaves were traded like objects and were not important to

performance of Cement sector firm. Capital structure and liquidity both play a vital
role in growth and profitability of the firm. The data of fifteen cement sector firms
were randomly analyzed, for the period of 2008 to 2014. The statistical approaches
i.e. correlation, fixed effect, random effect and hausman tests were applied. The
results indicated that all capital structure variables, i.e. Debt to equity, debt ratio,
funded capital ratio and Funded debt ratio has negative relationship with firm
financial performance of these selected cement sector firms. The results also
indicated that liquidity proxies, i.e. quick ratio and current ratio have significant
positive impact on the financial performance of these cement sector firms. On the
bases of the findings of this study it is suggested that these firm s manager should
take care of its capital structure proxies as it negatively impacting its financial

than 12 million people are monitored by electronic surveillance at work causing a
