This document summarizes apps that are useful for education on the iPad. It describes 11 apps, including iBooks Author for creating interactive resources, Singing Fingers for recording sound while finger painting, Prezi Viewer for upgrading presentations, ShowMe for using the iPad as an interactive whiteboard, DocAS Lite for annotating PDFs, DocsToGo as a suite of office tools, iBrainstorm for collaborating ideas, StoryKit for creating digital storybooks, the North Nottinghamshire College app for keeping learners updated, Socrative as a clicker system using devices, and Blippar as an example of future augmented reality applications.
