Using policy and usability data, AIDS.gov redesigned their website to more effectively increase HIV testing and access to information. They tested the usability of pages on basic HIV/AIDS topics, the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, testing sites and care services locators, and new media sections. Based on findings that users wanted more visuals and downloads, AIDS.gov developed infographics and centralized downloads. They also created a mobile testing sites locator using geolocation. Testing found these changes helped users find answers and information faster across devices. AIDS.gov will continue using usability data to engage with different platforms and connect people to HIV/AIDS resources.
