AIDS.gov, a program of the Office of HIV/AIDS Policy in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, provides access to Federal HIV programs, policies, and resources through its website (www.AIDS.gov) and new media channels (e.g. blog, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr). AIDS.gov also plans, implements, and evaluates domestic World AIDS Day and National HIV Testing Day initiatives. In this session, the AIDS.gov team will provide an overview of the tools and strategies that AIDS.gov uses to best reach their diverse audiences. The presentation will also provide a case study of Facing AIDS for World AIDS Day (December 1), an online photo initiative in which diverse audiences across the country shared photos of themselves holding signs stating why they were “Facing AIDS” for World AIDS Day. The initiative’s goals were to help reduce HIV stigma and promote HIV testing.

Director Miguel Gomez presented on the plenary panel at the 2009 National HIV Prevention Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, “Advances in HIV Prevention Science and Technology”. The AIDS.gov presentation focused on how the HIV community can adopt new media tools to further their work. Miguel said, “we have a responsibility to learn about new media—to learn what clients are doing online, what new media is, and how to fit it into our overall HIV prevention planning.”

Since the Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project first started tracking teen cell phone use, the age at which American teens acquire their first cell phone has consistently grown younger. In Pew Internet's 2004 survey of teens, 18% of 12-year-olds owned a cell phone. In 2009, 58% of 12 year-olds own a cell phone. We also have found that cell phone ownership increases dramatically with age: 83% of teens age 17 now own a cell phone, up from 64% in 2004.

Different surveys such as Youth Risk Behavior Survey and National Survey of Family Growth have established that most adolescents engage in sexual activities at earlier ages. However, older adolescents aged 15 years and older have recorded a reduction in sexual activity whereas those that are younger have recorded increased sexual activity. There are different factors that make adolescents engage in sexual activities. Some of these factors include peer pressure to engage in sexual activity, adolescents that mature earlier and the influence of the new media. The use of drugs as well as alcohol leads to reduced inhibitions hence, influencing unprotected sexual activity. Boys and girls that smoke or take alcohol are at risk of early sexual activity. This is because the use of these substances influences their decision making in social contexts. Fake references According Peters, 2017, early sexual activity is associated with teen pregnancy. Teenage pregnancy has been a national concern for many decades. Teenage pregnancy in most cases complicates the development of adolescents and it leads to a difficultshift to young adulthood. This leads to potential limited economic and most important educational opportunities. There has been a significant teenage pregnancy decline in the last three decades. However, based on the National Campaign aimed at preventing teen pregnancy shows that out of ten girls, four of them get pregnant before they are twenty years old. Compared to other industrialized countries, United States has the highest teen pregnancy, abortion and birth rates (Peters, 2017). Population Impacted and how they are affected. Sexual risk behavior among adolescents in the United States is a major health concern. According to Rebecca et al, 2011, approximately 800,000 girls aged between fifteen and nineteen years get pregnant every year. In recent years, the proportion of sexually experienced adolescents has decreased. However, 34 percent of the ninth graders and 61 percent of the 12th graders agree to having had sexual intercourse. Of those that go to high school, 7 percent agree to have sex before their thirteenth birthday. Fake data In 2015, 229,715babies were born to mothers aged between 15 years and 19 years. This represented a birth rate of approximately 22 per 1,000 girls in the 15-19 age group. This was a record low showing a drop of 8 percent from the previous year, 2014. There was also a significant drop of 9% for girls aged 15 to 17 and 7% for women between 18 years and 19 years. Running Head: Internet sources 1 Internet sources Name Instructor Course Date Before the inception of the internet, carrying out research for a paper needed a lot of time perusing through newspapers, encyclopedias, magazines and books at local libraries. It required a lot of time if a person was not conversant with standard card catalog files that were used in libraries. Today, research has become easier as a result of the internet. There are numerous blogs, videos and podcasts that are easily available and accessible. I will use internet sources when writing my final research paper. I found a blog that had a lot of information on childhood bullying, the subject of my final research paper. The blog entitled, Childhood Bullying Linked to Adult Psychiatric Disorders brings out the degree to which bullying is capable of affecting an individual’s mental health. According to the author, Chelsea Perugini, the victims of childhood bullying are at a higher risk of developing mental health problems at later stages in their lives. There is validity in the information given by the author since the conclusions made are based on a study that followed 1000 youth that indicated that bullying elevated the levels of mental health problems (Perugini, 2014). Another resource is a video by KidsHealth.org titled, Kids Talk About: Bullying. In this video, children are giving their thoughts and accounts on bullying. There is validity in the information provided in the video since the children captured in the video are victims of bullying. It enables one to get an in-depth understanding of bullying since they are listening to people who have experienced bullying (Kidshealth.org, 2014). Another useful source I found on the internet is a podcast by CDC entitled, Bullying prevention for kids. The podcast discusses the experiences bullying victims go through. There are also some recommendations provided in the podcast on how children can cope with bullying (Podcasts at CDC, 2012).The information in the podcast is applicable since it provides recommendations that can be applied in situations where bullying is taking place. With the continued advancement of technology, governance is now being easily conducted beyond the nation state parameters. Web-based information has a great impact on global citizenship and multicultural understanding. It is now easy for people to access information on different nations through the internet. It provides an opportunity for individuals to learn more about the practices and values found in different regions of the world. With this information, it becomes easy for people to become part of the emerging world community as well as understand the different cultures of people. There are various factors that have to be considered when evaluating internet sources to be used in researching information. One.

zkStudyClub - Reef: Fast Succinct Non-Interactive Zero-Knowledge Regex Proofs

This paper presents Reef, a system for generating publicly verifiable succinct non-interactive zero-knowledge proofs that a committed document matches or does not match a regular expression. We describe applications such as proving the strength of passwords, the provenance of email despite redactions, the validity of oblivious DNS queries, and the existence of mutations in DNA. Reef supports the Perl Compatible Regular Expression syntax, including wildcards, alternation, ranges, capture groups, Kleene star, negations, and lookarounds. Reef introduces a new type of automata, Skipping Alternating Finite Automata (SAFA), that skips irrelevant parts of a document when producing proofs without undermining soundness, and instantiates SAFA with a lookup argument. Our experimental evaluation confirms that Reef can generate proofs for documents with 32M characters; the proofs are small and cheap to verify (under a second). Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management. The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM). Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing

Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process. In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds. - These are slides of the talk given at IEEE International Conference on Software Testing Verification and Validation Workshop, ICSTW 2022.

This presentation will outline the scope and perspective of utilizing AI in XML development. The potential benefits and the possible pitfalls will be highlighted, providing a balanced view of the subject. We will explore the capabilities of AI in understanding XML markup languages and autonomously creating structured XML content. Additionally, we will examine the capacity of AI to enrich plain text with appropriate XML markup. Practical examples and methodological guidelines will be provided to elucidate how AI can be effectively prompted to interpret and generate accurate XML markup. Further emphasis will be placed on the role of AI in developing XSLT, or schemas such as XSD and Schematron. We will address the techniques and strategies adopted to create prompts for generating code, explaining code, or refactoring the code, and the results achieved. The discussion will extend to how AI can be used to transform XML content. In particular, the focus will be on the use of AI XPath extension functions in XSLT, Schematron, Schematron Quick Fixes, or for XML content refactoring. The presentation aims to deliver a comprehensive overview of AI usage in XML development, providing attendees with the necessary knowledge to make informed decisions. Whether you’re at the early stages of adopting AI or considering integrating it in advanced XML development, this presentation will cover all levels of expertise. By highlighting the potential advantages and challenges of integrating AI with XML development tools and languages, the presentation seeks to inspire thoughtful conversation around the future of XML development. We’ll not only delve into the technical aspects of AI-powered XML development but also discuss practical implications and possible future directions.
