Have you ever wondered why is said that we are over populated? Why some diseases that used to kill many people are now treatable, preventable or eradicated? Why is it that more geriatrics are living longer and healthier lives? Who are we to thank for this incredible accomplishment?

“ Virtually every major medical advance for both humans and animals has been achieved through biomedical research using animal models to study and find a cure for disease, and through animal testing, to prove the safety and efficacy of a new treatment.” Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. C Everett Koop
Animal testing has guidelines and rules to follow. It is controlled and supervised by: the Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care (PHC) and Use of Laboratory Animals the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals the Animal Welfare Act (AWA).
Animal research is performed by medical researchers who have Ph.D., D.V.M., or M.D. degrees. Emergency veterinary care for animals in research clinics is available on a 24-hour basis.

Can animal medical research be stopped and still get the same results for finding cures? PROBABLY NOT The truth is “ You can not have medicine without animal research."
