Animal ethics deals with how humans should treat and manage animals. It includes two major perspectives: animal rights, which aims to end all animal use, and animal welfare, which demands animals be treated humanely if used. Animal cruelty encompasses both deliberate harm and failure to properly care for animals. Several national and international organizations work to promote humane animal care and enhance animal well-being.
