This document describes an Android application for purchasing suburban railway tickets using a smartphone. The application allows users to select their origin and destination, purchase tickets using credit, and receive tickets as QR codes stored on their phone. The ticket QR codes contain encrypted journey details and are validated using GPS location services and database checks. If valid, the ticket is deleted once the user reaches their destination. This system aims to reduce queues and corruption by providing a transparent digital ticketing process. It also allows location tracking in emergencies and informs users of train schedules. The proposed architecture utilizes Android smartphones, databases, GPS, and QR code generation to implement a digital suburban railway ticketing system in India.
One of the major challenges in present ticketing
provision is “QUEUE” in buying suburban railway tickets. In
this rapid growing world of technology user buy with oyster and
octopus cards for suburban tickets, this is frustrating at times to
stand in the queue or if user forgot his cards. Android Suburban
Railway(ASR) ticketing is to buy the suburban tickets which is
the most difficult when compared to booking the long journey
tickets through ‘M-ticket’. ASR ticket can be bought with smart
phone application, where user can carry his railway tickets in his
smart phone as QR-code.
It uses the smart phone’s “GPS” facility to authenticate and
erase ticket automatically after a specific interval of time when
user reaches to the destination. User’s ticket information is
stored in a CLOUD database for security, which is absent in
present suburban system. Also the ticket checker is provided
with a checker application to look for user’s ticket with the
ticket number in the cloud database for checking purposes.

With ever increasing number of vehicles, the major issue faced nowadays is the increase in traffic and inconvenience of the traveler to pay toll in the toll stations. Ez-pass is used to collect toll electronically using a QR Code. Thereby it can significantly improve the dispose efficiency of the toll station and the traffic ability of the toll road.

In this paper, we present PGS, a Parking Guidance System based on wireless sensor network(WSN) which guides a driver to an available parking lot. The system consists of a WSN based VDS (vehicle detection sub-system) and a management subsystem. The WSN based VDS gathers information on the availability of each parking lot and the management sub-system processes the information and refines them and guides the driver to the available parking lot by controlling a VMS (Variable Messaging System). The paper describes the overall system architecture of PGS from the hardware platform to the application software in the view point of a WSN. We implemented the WSN based VDS of PGS and experimented on the system with several kinds of cars.

In existing system we see , if any customer need to reserve seat he or she need to call them or walk towards them which is consider as wasting their valuable times. So that, we are building this system in which user can book bus seat in advance
by paying money from e-wallet, means user just have to scan the QR code from bus conductor .It also eliminate the payment issue (cash or issue of change).It is the planning to replace our old booking system with new system which is online based. So we want to implement an online web based bus ticketing system which will be easier for customers to book from home and abroad as well as for them to manage their overall business smoothly. Here the system we are going to discuss is E-Ticketing System for public bus transport" which is completely a web application. As we already discussed above that internet has made the users interaction through the system easier, so this web application can connect to respective servers for accessing data which will surely help users to purchase the bus ticket or reserve their seats online without waiting on queue.

By periodically polling the parking status from the sensor networks deployed in parking lots, the reservation status is affected by the change of physical parking status. The drivers are allowed to access the server on their Android smartphones. The proposed smart parking policy has the potential to solve the problems of parking systems, as well as reduce traffic congestion caused by parking searching thus making the system two-way efficient, that is, cost wise and time wise.
