any example from our readings and pick out some sort of real world issue or important thing that I

People respect Hatton for who he is and what he has done for the community, not necessarily for who

Immunization Tour
Immunizations, in my opinion, are one of the most crucial ways to protect yourself and others in
receiving and spreading of diseases. On the 26th of October, in the McNamara Alumni Center, I
volunteered for two hours with the Fall 2017 Immunization Tour. My role in the tour, along with three
other nursing students, was to stand in the entrance and show people where to go. Even in this small
act, I felt as though I was making a difference. This experience was valuable to me in my future
actions to become a nurse. My experience at the Fall 2017 Immunization Tour was impacted
significantly through the efforts of safety, teamwork, and communication.

Piano Concert Review
On April 12, 2016 I attended Susan Davis and Dr. Robert Wells Bach, Rach and Blues piano selections
from Baroque period to the modern Blues Era. This was great experience for me because it was my
first time attending a concert that was being played on the piano throughout the entire concert. It was
also a great experience because I gotten the chance to see my music professor (Mrs. Davis) perform
what she loves to do it. . Since the beginning of the year, I always wanted to see my music professor
(Mrs. Davis) play an entire piece. This concert gave inspiration to go after my once and now
childhood dreams of playing the piano. I just love to hear the melody of the piano because its gives the

How strength can be present in the story from the time when George goes Lennie, and shoots his
skull. The reason why George has done this, is because Lennie s physical strength is too powerful with

Neoconservative And Discrimination Against Gays And...
People may not notice little things that others do or say. Something as small as calling someone gay
because they identify themselves as homosexual, could emotionally traumatize them. Examples of
these issues are LGBTQ+ working in a labour intensive employment, and is treated as weak or unfit
for the position, thus being looked down upon. For centuries, people follow the stereotype that people
of a different gender or sexual identity are looked down upon and considered outliers of the society.
Our group will go in depth and demonstrate examples of discrimination against LGBTQ+ in the
workforce, by first analyzing the root of this problem. A few questions that we will evaluating are: if
people dislike LGBTQ+ in the workforce because they are homosexuals, or because they are lacking
in skill, education, experience etc. Second question that ties with the root of the issue is to find out
why majority of people discriminate individuals that identify as LGBTQ+ homosexuals. Lastly, our
group will be explaining different point of views of this issue. We will be using a variety of
frameworks that we have learned in class such as viewing the social problem with a Neoliberal,
Neoconservative and transformative outlook to analyze the social problem. Topics that we can analyze
