A high-pressure head box uses an air cushion and deflocculation rolls to provide uniform distribution of paper stock on a paper machine wire up to 500 m/min. It has a stainless steel box shape with electrochemically polished interior surfaces. Turbulent stock flow is enabled through a diffuser board and adjustable speed deflocculation rolls.

paper and paper products. Its importance in everyday life is obvious from its use in
recording, storage and dissemination of information. Virtually all writing and printing is
done on paper. It is the most widely used wrapping and packaging material, and is

products are virtually limitless. Apart from the products and services that it provides, the
paper and pulp industry is one of the major manufacturing industries in the world
providing employment for vast number of people and contribute to national economy.
The paper making process is essentially a very large dewatering operation where a diluted
solution of pulp suspension with less than 0.5% fibre solid is used. The major sections of a
paper machine consist of: forming section, press section and dryer section. In the forming
section, the fibres present in the diluted pulp and water slurry form paper web through
drainage by gravity and applied suction below the forming fabric. In the press section
additional water in removed by mechanical pressure applied through the nips of a series of
presses or rotating rolls and the wet web is consolidated in this section. Most of the
remaining water is evaporated and inter-fibre binding developed as the paper contacts a
series of steam heated cylinder in the dryer section. Water removal from the wet web to the
final moisture level between 6% and 7% is a critical step of papermaking. Majority of the
functional properties of paper are developed in this section.
In spite of its key role in papermaking, large equipment size, and large capital and operating
costs, drying is arguably the least understood papermaking operation. Books on
papermaking technology generally devote fewer pages to drying than other papermaking
operations such as forming, pressing or calendaring. A similar situation is found in
papermaking courses, in which drying occupies a shorter time than the proportion of space
it takes in a paper machine. Furthermore, a large portion of that time is devoted to the
description of the equipment by its suppliers rather than to its operation by the
papermakers.

Hot metal ladle
The ladles are of completely welded design and reinforced by two stiffener rings with special reinforcement in the area of the trunnions (similar to AISE-Standard No. 9). Ladle shell and Bottom plate are furnished with deOilsing holes so that humidity and Oiles generated during drying of the new lining may escape. The deOilsing holes (Ø10) shall be placed on a grid with approx. 350 mm distance. The forged trunnion pins are welded into the trunnion ring and into the ladle shell. Three ladle feet are welded to the ladle bottom to permit placing on ground floor. A tilting device is provided at the ladle bottom which is designed so that the tilting hook to the crane can be engaged and/or disengaged without manual help. The flat ladle bottom is furnished with an opening for the base plate (by others) for fixing the slide gate.
The ladle is equipped with one bayonet for fixing the porous plugs as well as the piping installation to the porous plugs.

TIME DIVISION MULTIPLEXING TECHNIQUE FOR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) is a method of transmitting multiple signals over a single communication channel by dividing the signal into many segments, each having a very short duration of time. These time slots are then allocated to different data streams, allowing multiple signals to share the same transmission medium efficiently. TDM is widely used in telecommunications and data communication systems.
### How TDM Works
1. **Time Slots Allocation**: The core principle of TDM is to assign distinct time slots to each signal. During each time slot, the respective signal is transmitted, and then the process repeats cyclically. For example, if there are four signals to be transmitted, the TDM cycle will divide time into four slots, each assigned to one signal.
2. **Synchronization**: Synchronization is crucial in TDM systems to ensure that the signals are correctly aligned with their respective time slots. Both the transmitter and receiver must be synchronized to avoid any overlap or loss of data. This synchronization is typically maintained by a clock signal that ensures time slots are accurately aligned.
3. **Frame Structure**: TDM data is organized into frames, where each frame consists of a set of time slots. Each frame is repeated at regular intervals, ensuring continuous transmission of data streams. The frame structure helps in managing the data streams and maintaining the synchronization between the transmitter and receiver.
4. **Multiplexer and Demultiplexer**: At the transmitting end, a multiplexer combines multiple input signals into a single composite signal by assigning each signal to a specific time slot. At the receiving end, a demultiplexer separates the composite signal back into individual signals based on their respective time slots.
### Types of TDM
1. **Synchronous TDM**: In synchronous TDM, time slots are pre-assigned to each signal, regardless of whether the signal has data to transmit or not. This can lead to inefficiencies if some time slots remain empty due to the absence of data.
2. **Asynchronous TDM (or Statistical TDM)**: Asynchronous TDM addresses the inefficiencies of synchronous TDM by allocating time slots dynamically based on the presence of data. Time slots are assigned only when there is data to transmit, which optimizes the use of the communication channel.
### Applications of TDM
- **Telecommunications**: TDM is extensively used in telecommunication systems, such as in T1 and E1 lines, where multiple telephone calls are transmitted over a single line by assigning each call to a specific time slot.

- 1. High-pressure (closed) head box runs with an air cushion and with deflocculation rolls. It is used particularly on paper machines intended for a speed up to 500 m/min. with diverse substances, i.e. with different flow rates and consistencies. - 2. Design The head box is made of stainless steel. It comes in a shape of a box. Its inside surfaces, coming in contact with the stock, are electrochemically polished. The turbulent stock flow is enabled by a diffuser board and defloculating rolls with adjustable speed. There is a rotary antifoam and rinsing shower pipe installed inside the head box. The head box stock supply is provided through an inlet body or diffuser plate. Top lip regulation The head box precise design and machining of the top lip enable its adjustability in two directions, X & Y Direction . The bottom output edge can be slipped out. The lip provides certain vertical flexibility which allows fine profile adjustment. The top parts of the top lip spindles are equipped with worm gears with micro metric indicators that can be preset with individual accuracy of 0,01 mm or with stepping motors connected to the control system of the machine.
