second time. The first time was when I was 15 years old, the second time was

Anti Pbs21 gene in plasmids

Lots and lots of eppendorf tubes

Microinjection
Inserting plasmid into mosquito egg
Bacterial transformation
Inserting plasmid into Asaia
Inoculation
Infecting mosquitoes with transformed Asaia
Procedure
Transgenic mosquito
Take plasmids containing anti Pbs21 gene and insert them into mosquito eggs using a
microinjector. Repeat several times to increase the chances of getting a successful
mosquito.
Grow the mosquito to maturity.
Asaia infected mosquito
Take Asaiabacteria and put it with plasmids containing the anti Pbs21 gene and the
gene for GFP
Heat shock the bacteria to make them accept the plasmids.
Plate the bacteria and select the colonies that glow in the UV light
Infect adult mosquitoes with the successful bacteria.

Take both types of mosquito, as well as normal mosquitoes as a control, and set them
up in exactly equal habitats.

Edward James Olmos was a very well known actress and producer. Olmos got his
big break when he performed in the stage production of Zoot Suit in 1978. He then
reprised the role that he had in the 1981 film version. From there, his career took
off when he was seen in the movie Blade Runner , and also when he took part in

He has made a life for himself coming from a poor family, proving that anyone is
capable of anything. He has broadened teenagers outlook on the world by speaking
to them and teaching them valuable life lessons that they were never taught. Being
Hispanic, he wants to prove to other people in his culture that they are not

heart felt man because he takes a stand for issues that happen around the world that

A vegetarian is a person who does not eat meat poultry and fish. Vegetarians eat
mainly fruit, vegetables, legumes, grains, seeds and nuts. Vegetarians are classified
into multiple categories, which is distinguished by their eating habits and choice of
food. Lactovegetarians exclude meat, poultry, fish, and eggs from their diet, but
include dairy products. Most vegetarians in the United States are Lacto
ovevegetarians, which exclude all meat, poultry, and fish. Although, they include
eggs and dairy products. Ovo Vegetarians eat no meat, fish, poultry, or dairy, but eat
eggs. Partial vegetarians avoid meat but may eat fish. (Harvard Health). People may
become vegetarians for one or more reasons such as, personal health concerns,
environmental concerns, religious and/or spiritual beliefs, compassion for animals,
world hunger concerns and economic concerns, belief in nonviolence, and food
preferences (Brown University).
Veganismis often associated with vegetarianism. Vegans choose to solely eat from
The Plant Kingdom. Meaning they eat mostly vegetables, grains, nuts, legumes, fruits
and seeds. Veganism excludes dairy products, flesh, fish, fowl, poultry, honey, eggs,
animal gelatin and any other animal originated food. Veganism has more restrictions
and guidelines, in comparison to vegetarianism. Any animal products such as leather,
fur, wool, silk in clothing, upholstery, etc. are all excluded from their lifestyle as
