Mary Shelley s Presentation of the Relationship Between...
Mary Shelley s Presentation of the Relationship Between Frankenstein and the Creature
It was on a dreary night of November that I beheld the accomplishment of my toils.
These are the famous words of Mary Shelley that foretold the birth of Frankenstein s
monster. A tale of catastrophe, love and endless yet hopeless toil; the tale of Victor
Frankenstein is a perfect example of early gothic literature. Born on a dreary summer in
1816, his story has been immortalised in not only the pages of many books but also on
the silver screen.
Like many of its genre, Frankenstein is a terrifically dark yet pioneering story. Its
graveyard settings, the persecuted maiden, and the seemingly forlorn character ... Show

Time and time again throughout the book this is proven through not only Frankenstein s
ever persistent hunting of the creature but also the creatures need to be close to
Frankenstein. It is this relationship that Mary Shelley exploits, through the use of
language, which keeps the reader interested throughout the book.
It is not until the fifth chapter that Frankenstein s lust for the creature, and ensuing
obsession for the gift of life is quite realised. Set on a dreary night of November , as the
rain pattered dismally against the panes , Mary Shelly immediately provides the reader
with a classic gothic scene, readying them for the obvious catastrophes that are about to
ensue. The addition of the tension provided by Frankenstein s comments as he collected
the instruments of life around him , and suffered with an anxiety that almost amounted to
agony stand well in giving the reader some idea of how long this moment has been in
preparation.
Shelley goes on to provide a gruesome description of the creature: His yellow skin
scarcely covered the muscles … his hair was of a lustrous black … his teeth a
pearly white … these luxuriance s only formed a more horrid contrast with his
watery eyes . It is at this description that Frankenstein comments of it being beautiful .
This reaction could be compared to that of a parent whose love for their child is so

Threats include having exclusively agreements with content providers may affect
availability of movies for streaming, more competition from big name companies and
global competition from companies operating locally overseas, increasing cost for
content licenses and increase in cyber crimes, the movie and TV industry less willing to
make exclusive deals with online video services, Motion Pictures Association of
America posing a risk if changes will be made affecting Netflix adversely, and etc.
After doing this research on Netflix, we have discovered that they have a central issue
that should be addressed. Netflix is currently doing very well, rated as one of the best
TV shows and movies broadcasters, compared to their competitors. Though, their revenue
and subscription growth is continuing to grow, they are still struggling with some issues.
The central issue Netflix is currently facing is outdated movies and TV shows as well as
inconsistency in their content provided every year, which leads to declining subscribers
and a struggle to retain their current customers. Netflix is known to be the world s largest
Internet television provider but their TV shows and movies are outdated. An example of
this concern is that, you can watch season 10 of
Supernatural on Hulu but Netflix only provides up to season 9. Also, Hulu and other
websites shows Vampire Diaries up to season 6 but
Freire s Theory Of The Oppressed And The Oppressor...
As society continues to evolve people maintain their quest to accept full humanity, in this
process individuals question not only who their authentic self is, but what is keeping
them from accepting that version of themselves. A question which Freire addresses in
his Pedagogy of the Oppressed as he emphasizes how liberation transcends time, and
atmosphere. Instead he chooses to illustrate a process which is embodied by acceptance
of the oppressor, activism, fellowship, solidarity, and reflection, it is these components
that create the means for a successful path to liberation, while simultaneously allowing
for the identification of personal and societal growth (Paulo Freire, Pedagogy of the
Oppressed). Brooks, Collins, and Kidd s novels... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

For instance Katniss is attacked by tracker jackers and states This is the nature of the
tracker jacker venom, so carefully created to target the place fear lives in your brain,
in using self reflection and education Katniss is able to identify this form of oppression
and use that knowledge to not let it break her, but to combat it (Collins 195). Finally in
Brooks Year Of Wonders Anna continues to learn about nature of religion as the novel
progresses. As she realizes how it has been unsuccessful in ending the Plague she
beings to reflect on the role of religion in her life stating His wife had been hacked
down in front of him. My olive shoots had been blighted. Why? it is a combination of
education and reflection that causes her to realize that religion is indeed her oppressor
which prompts her to take action and leave her pious life in an attempt to finally be
liberated (Brooks 269). What do these characters plights illustrate? They not only
condone Freire s ideas but emphasize how in society is in incredulously important that
people take the time to continue their quest for knowledge and use self reflection as a
tool to understand what is holding one back from accepting full humanity. Freire s ideas
continue to be reflected in the plights of the main characters as he examines the value of
solidarity and fellowship in combatting oppression. He also puts emphasis on the fact that

known as Sound of Music. It was incorporated in 1966. During that time, the company
was mo0stly involved in the retail of audio component. However this did no go on for
long as the company expanded to dealing in video products later in the same year. In
the 1980 s it introduced the video cassette recorder into its product line. In 1983 it

operating as a super store. This involved the idea of expanding the product lines and
employing the use of mass marketing techniques to promote the products. In 1989, the
Company changed the role of its sale staff. This was in line with the new strategy that
had been adopted by the business. It involved the movement from being a discount
retailer that mainly used the low price pricing strategy to attract customers to being a
firm the embraced the idea of a differentiated pricing strategy. For this reason it changed
the role of its sale associates and gave them a more active role. This new role involved

The Buckley Lj On Employment Law
The Buckley LJ comments set out in Montgomery v Johnson Underwood concerning
employment relationship determinations involving mutual obligation and control
concepts, underscore modern English employment law s evolutionary character. The
employment law jurisprudence to which Montgomery v Johnson Underwood contributes
is reviewed below. The critical evaluation advanced in the following sections confirms the
now well entrenched mutuality test is a reasonable means by which this familiar but
elusive question concerning employee versus independent contractorstatus is consistently
resolved. No test devised to deal with highly circumstance driven legal issues will
provide perfect solutions in every case the employment agencycircumstances considered
in Montgomery confirm this observation. The mutuality test delivers an appropriate level
of essential predictability in this area.
The broader Montgomery v Johnson Underwood context
The three cornered dealings typically arising between a business enterprise, employment
agency, and a client the agency places with the enterprise provide essential context to
Buckley LJ s Montgomery observations.
The Montgomery claimant was placed by the defendant agency with the agency s client
company as a receptionist. After two years, the agency gave the claimant termination
notice at the company s request. At all material times, the claimant took her day to day
workplace direction from the company, not the agency. However, pursuant

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Polyploidy
Definition: Polyploidy is the heritable condition in which a normally diploid cell or
organism acquires one or more additional sets of chromosomes.
Polyploidy refers to a numerical change in a whole set of chromosomes. Organisms in
which a particular chromosome, or chromosome segment, is under or overrepresented are
said to be aneuploid. Therefore, the distinction between aneuploidy and polyploidy is that
aneuploidy refers to a numerical change in part of the chromosome set, whereas
polyploidy refers to a numerical change in the whole set of chromosomes.

Examples in animals are more common in non vertebrates[9] such as flatworms, leeches,
and brine shrimp. Within vertebrates, examples of stable polyploidy include the

However, these epigenetic changes might instead increase diversity and plasticity by
allowing for rapid adaptation in polyploids. One example may be the widespread
dispersal of the invasive allopolyploid Spartina angelica. However, it is not clear
whether the success of this species can be attributed to fixed heterosis or to the
increased variability that results from epigenetic remodeling. Polyploidy is also
believed to play a role in the rapid adaptation of some allopolyploid arctic flora,
probably because their genomes confer hybrid vigor and buffer against the effects of
inbreeding. However, fertility barriers between species often need to be overcome in
order to form successful allopolyploids, and these barriers may have an epigenetic
Change Blindness And Its Effects On Blindness
Many studies and experiments have been conducted to explain why change blindness
occurs and in what situations is change blindness more likely to occur. Literature on
change blindness is quite extensive, as it is an emerging area in psychology. A number of
researchers have conducted experiments into the key areas where change blindnesshas
been found to cause consequential outcomes. These areas include the effects of change
blindness on eye witness testimonies, driving ability, and effects on autism. Literature on
change blindness places an emphasis on methodology and this literature review will
focus primarily on this. According to Simons Levin (1998) change blindness is the
phenomenon that occurs when a person fails to detect large changes between one viewed
scene and another. Recent studies show similar findings and evidence as to the original
literature into change blindness. As stated by Rensink, 2002 (as cited in Davies Hone,
2007), change blindness has been the subject of intensive research in recent years
beginning with studies in which researchers manipulated the content of abstract scenes.
Researchers do differ on their perspectives on change blindness depending upon their
method approach and background or field; however literature is largely in an agreed
consensus as to what change blindness is and its effects on attention. Change blindness is
studied by using the methodology of change detection, which is where participants are

Micro Controller At Mega
Micro Controller AT Mega 328 In the area of control and automation, the need for some
processing unit became indispensable in a wide variety of applications. Among these,
microcontrollers stand as a lower cost alternative, satisfactory reliability, simplicity,
reduced consumption energy, however, with limited memory capacity and processing.
A microcontroller contains a processor, memory access and peripheral input / output.
It is a microprocessor that can be programmed for specific functions, in contrast to
other general purpose microprocessors (such as those used in PCs). Basically, the use
of a microcontroller is in the processing of data from one of your peripherals, with the
set of output data. For example, send data via serial port or generate a reaction in system
as an LED light.
The architecture of a microcontroller generally consists of a core processing, bus and
Peripherals:
Processing core consists of the data processor (calculations, flow control program, etc.)
and administration of peripherals.
Bus is divided into data and address, is on the lines of communication between the
processor and peripherals.
Peripherals characterize the set of features available by the microcontroller and are
controlled by the processor. For example, memory, serial port, parallel port and AD
converter.
Microcontrollers are typically used in automation and control products and peripherals,
such as control systems of automotive engines, remote controls, machines, etc.

Benefits of Foreign Direct Investment for Nations in Sub Saharan Africa
Executive Summary
As developing nations continue to expand their economic systems and find their place
within the global market, the practice of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has become
increasingly common. In 2013, developing nations received nearly 800 billion dollars of
FDI, accounting for 54% of total global inflows (UNCTAD 2). Though many have
elected to adopt a cautious approach, Foreign Direct Investment has proven to have a
multitude of positive effects on developing nations collective labor rights and
productivity. For these reasons, the Committee for Economic Development in Sub
Saharan Africa should ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This, simply put, is false. Nations with large inflows of foreign direct investment still
have a hold over their nation, and are allowed to set the terms and conditions of foreign
investment. Though governments may have to enforce policies to make their nations
more enticing to FDI, this decision remains solely theirs. Sovereignty remains in the
hands of leaders of the state, not leaders of corporations. The inclusion of Foreign
Investment into a nation s economy does not preclude it from continuing its tradition of
government, but rather allows them to collaborate with outside organizations to help aid
the creation and institution of a more stable state politically, socially, and economically.
Context and Importance
For many nations with weaker economic systems, Foreign Direct Investment can seem
like a daunting, and perhaps even unnecessary facet of day to day economic happenings.
In the face of decolonization in the 1960s, many formerly colonized nations subscribed to
two separate economic models: Import Substituting Industrialization (ISI) or Export
Oriented Industrialization (EOI). Import Substituting Industrialization relies upon heavy
taxation of agriculture, and a movement towards autarky that hinges on the production of
everything that may be imported within the nation. The thinking behind ISI suggests that
government investment into all industries of a developing nation

Supplement Labels vs. Nutrition Labels: What Every Consumer Needs to Know by
Wendy Lindgren
Chances are, if you re reading this article, you ve already heard at least one of the
following statements:
Always read food labels before buying a product.
Nutrition should come from the foods you eat, not from drugs and supplements.
The ingredients list is more important than the Nutrition Facts.
Supplements aren t regulated by the FDA.
Food is medicine.
All of these statements have an element of truth to them, but they re blanket statements
that feel good because they are oversimplifications. Truthfully, you live in the 21st
century, which means that you are bombarded every day by information and labeling that

There are plenty of supplements on the market today that are safe and beneficial to use.
Just because the FDA is dropping the ball, that doesn t mean that a number of other
organizations aren t picking up the slack. If you feel that you may benefit from taking a
nutritional supplement, try checking with ConsumerLab, NSF International, the Natural
Products Association or US Pharmacopoeia. If a product passes their quality inspection,
it will most likely carry a badge on it s label. Always talk to your doctor or health care

Obama Essay
The election of 2008 couldn t have come sooner for many Americans. The United
States was coming off one of the worst recessions in the country s history, and
Americans were eager for a change. The incumbent republican president George W.
Bush had seen his approval ratings dip to the low 30s ( Presidential Approval Ratings
George W. Bush ), and democrats could feel a victory was coming. They nominated the
young dynamic Illinois senator Barack Obama, a leader who many Americans placed
their hope in to change the direction of the country. Obama was a historical candidate,
one of the youngest presidents ever. He would also become the first African American

It is probably the best way to measure the success and growth of a country s economy.
In the past century on average, the United States economy grew annually at roughly
3.1%. This number is generally considered the basemark for economic success, with
anything above it denoting an above average economy, and anything below it signifying
a below average economy. Every single president since Herbert Hoover during the great
depression of the late 1920s and early 1930s has managed to create at least one year of
above average economic growth, except for one. The economy under president Obama
failed to hit the 3% mark for any of his eight years as president (Gillin). This is a rather
unprecedented level of economic stagnation, and one that no modern president besides
Obama has managed to fall to. Obama was not a particularly good president when it
came to labor participation rates either. During his presidency, the labor force
participation rate fell to its lowest in over 35 years ( Unemployment ). Many people
argue that Obama was dealing with the aftermath of a recession and thus his economic
performance should be judged more favorably. This is a contradictory statement, as it is
easier to improve something that is bad than it is to improve something that is already
successful. Also, the United States economy historically tends to have a large boom after a

Sl Math Ia Olympics
Winning Heights in the Men s Olympic High Jumps Introduction: The Olympics are
an international sporting event that is held every four years where people from
around the world send their best athletes to compete and see who the best of the best
is when it comes to sports. The Olympics date back to Ancient Greece where their
basic events included track and field, which are like men s high jump which is the
topic of this report. In this problem we are looking at the data collected from the gold
medalists in the men s high jump in from the years 1932 1980, excluding the years
1940 and 1944 where the Olympics were not held due to World War II. Below is the data

The graph of this function is shown below On the graph above you can see that both
the quadratic and the line are both adequate representations of the data collected by
gold medalists for the men s high jumps in the Olympics. Both of these lines follow
the plots made on the original graph and they don t stray too far from those lines
either. There only outlier for the quadratic seem to be the medalist from the 1948
Olympics because his height is far below the quadratic. There might be some problems
with the exact position of where the quadratic is and where the line is because they
were drawn by hand and not on the computer like the stat plots which could potentially
cause problems for interpreting the data. To figure out what the predicted outcome of
both the 1940 and 1944 Olympics all you have to do is plug in 1940 in to the equation
y=3.02x+191, which was what was used in the graph that showed just the linear
equation, to figure out this answer for the 1940 Olympics. You can do this because in
this case the x represents the year and when you place in the year and solve out the
equation you get what the predicted height would be for 1940. When you plug in all
the numbers you get 200.6 cm as the predicted height for 1940. In the case of 1944
you would do the exact same thing but instead of plugging in 1940 in for x you would
plug 1944 into the equation. For the 1944 the predicted answer for the height of the men
s long jump would be 200.3 cm. The problem also
Scarlett Letter Essay
The Scarlett Letter was written by Nathaniel Hawthorne in 1850. This novel holds the
genre of a romantic piece portrayed through fiction, in a historical setting. It takes place in
Boston Massachusetts in the middle of the 17th century. This book contains a numerous
amount of symbolism, imagery, allegories, and allusions. Hawthorne introduces us to the
prison first because he does not want us to get the idea that this book is going to be
cheerful, someone is going to get shamed. Hester Prynne (main character) gets shamed in

Nathaniel was an American writer who was born in Salem Massachusetts, with a long
New England history. Nathaniel s original name of the family was Hathorne, he added
a w to distinguish himself from his family history. His relative was a prominent judge
in the Salem witch trials of 1692 1693. Nathaniel grew up from the upbringing of his
mother. His father, a sea captain, died of yellow fever in Suriname. His uncle Robert

Hawthorne went back home to Salem. He spent a lot of time in the local library,
learning about his ancestral roots and his Puritan past. During this time of his discovery
Hawthorne wrote many short stories, but they were failed to publish. He married his

Promoting Resilience in Nursing
Promoting Resilience Resilience is defined as a person s ability to weather adversity
and come out of it with a stronger ability to deal with the next challenge (Mosby s
Medical Dictionary, n.d.). Resilience can be noted as a trait within an individual as
well as a process through which a person undergoes during adversity (Jacelon, 1997).
Measuring resilience can be done by assessing certain qualities within an individual
and asking questions to elicit better understanding of their current psychological state
(Wagnild Collins, 2009). Nurses must have a thorough comprehension of resilience
and how to measure and promote this among individuals who are met with health
challenges. By doing this nurses are better able to provide holistic client centred care
and inform the nursing profession. Defining Resilience Resilience is a term that is
often applied to those who have faced hardship and viewed the experience in a positive
light as an opportunity to grow and change for the better (Wagnild Collins, 2009). The
definition however seems to vary from place to place. Ungar et al. (2008) stated
definitions of resilience are ambiguous when viewed across cultures (p.174) which is
why the understanding of resilience may be difficult to capture (as cited in Windle,
Bennett Noyes, 2011). Although the literature agrees on several common themes about
resilience there are many varying opinions on how to define the concept or the attributing
factors. Earvolino Ramirez (2007) and

In A Good Man Is Hard to Find, Flannery O Connor s character searches for grace and
redemption in a world full of sin. Grimshaw states, each one, nonetheless, is free to
choose, free to accept or reject Grace (6). The Grandmother in A Good Manis Hard to
Find, is on a journey for grace and forgiveness in a world where the redemption she is
searching for proves to be hard to find.
The Grandmother often finds herself at odds with the rest of her family. Everyone feels

The grandmother s chance at grace comes at the end of the story when she makes the
gesture and reaches out to touch the Misfit. The grandmother finally realizes that she
is responsible in some way, for the man before her (Mystery and Manners 110). This is
the grandmother s final chance at accepting the grace she has longed to have. Hendin
states each story in A Good Man is Hard to Find embodies a visible sign of invisible
grace (17). Yet these pictures of grace are often hard to find.
McMullen goes on to say: The good man is hard to find because language and events in
the realistic narrative have given us a brutal murder whose meaning we look for in
humanistic terms instead of O Connor s hint of Grace that has its efficacy in a world
beyond the constructed one in the story (10).
O Connor herself warns us to be on the lookout for such things as the actions of grace in
the Grandmother s soul, and not for the dead bodies (Mystery and Manners 112).
Eggenschwiler probably expresses Ms. O Connor s purpose best, In her stories, grace is
most often enlightenment, especially about oneself it is the fulfillment of a character s
nature (132). The Grandmother learns more about her own character, through the actions
of grace. Eggenschwiller explains the acceptance of grace by the grandmother: In the end

The Machine Time Span
However, in each case, it is assumed that the machine time is known as soon as it
occurs. This machine has a direct consequence on the number of operation that is fixed
and indirectly reflects on the total number of operation present in the potential re
scheduling. Instances of the job shop problem (10x10, 8x15, 5x10, 10x 15, 5x15, 5x20,
6x24, 10x20,) are considered. Two machines can influence the decision variables. Several
cases with different values of this parameter are studied. The different simulations tested
in this research consider various times of these three machines. From the above two
method the obtained sequence times are less than the observation time span. Both
method has reduce the time span of job shop but Gupta s heuristicrule has reduce
maximum time span i.e. 196 and CDS rule take 200 time to complete all operation in
here machines. Reducing the time span of the scheduling method deteriorates the
increasing production rates. Each optimizationproblem must have an objective function
which has to be either minimized or maximized in order to get a solution. Here each job
has a no operations and each operation has a particular make time. When these make
times are arranged in the sequence of the schedule then each machine gets one particular
make time. Out of all the machines the machines which have the maximum make time
that is the make span value, there graph are shown in fig. 2 Fig 2 Graph of Machines

Synopsis Of The Movie There Will Be Blood By Paul Thomas...
There will be Blood is a movie that was released in 2007. Paul Thomas Anderson was the
director and the screenwriter. Daniel Day Lewis played Daniel Plainview, Dillion
Freasier played H.W. Plainview, and Paul Dano played Eli Sunday. This movie shows
if you let money control your life it may force you to make bad decisions. William
Jennings Bryan had a very logical quote about how not many people can earn money
fairly. No one can earn a million dollars honestly .
There will be Blood is a drama, action, and mystery film. This movie is a mystery
because you never know what Daniel will do next. He does whatever it takes to make
money and find oil. This makes it an action movie because he will do anything to make
money including killing people, leaving his child on a train, and getting oil on other
people s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He was characterized in the movie in two ways. He was seen by the people as an
aggressive straight forward man and a man of greed. Daniel viewed himself as a
powerful man, someone who did not want anyone to have more power than him. He
was a static character who did not change and nothing dramatic happens to him in the
story. His attitude seemed to remain the same throughout the movie. For example,
after Daniel raised H.W. as his own, he later told him him H.W. wasn t his child, and
never loved him. Throughout the movie, Daniel showed many different character
traits. For example, he showed love and compassion for H.W. when he was a child,
fearlessness to his competition and enemies, determination for his dreams and goals to
become a reality, and carelessness about the mistakes he has made and crimes he has
committed. Daniel Day Lewis s performance in the movie was fantastic. The way he
shows no emotion grabs viewer s attention to want to get inside his head to see what he s
really thinking. He plays the part like a method actor who cares about nothing but himself

Paper On Tapeworm
Parasites. They re not the typical topic of table conversation, but they are still an
important thing to research and be knowledgeable about. While there are many, many
different kinds of parasites, in this paper we will be zooming in on and talking all
about the internal parasite that is the tapeworm. A tapeworm infection attacks the
digestive tract of its host and they require an intermediate host to complete their life
cycle. The actual tapeworms are a species of parasitic flatworm know as a cestode. It
is a long, thin worm that attaches itself to the intestine of the host by a sucker or hooks
in its head. The body of the worm is made up of detachable segments and, as the
segments mature, thousands of eggs form in each segment. The segments are expelled
with the feces of the host and are still packed with eggs. Species affected by the
tapeworm include dogs, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and poultry. Humans are also...

First, infective larvae are ingested into the livestock s digestive system from contaminated
grass or water. The larvae then penetrate into the stomach and pass into the lungs. They
then grow into adults and live in the lungs while releasing segments with eggs. The eggs
hatch into larvae as they pass through the intestines and then exit in the feces of the host.
The infected feces contaminates the grass and another unsuspecting cow comes along
and ingests the larvae, unknowingly infecting itself.
This parasite can cause major economic loss in production of livestock. Like we
discussed earlier, symptoms of tapeworms are weight loss and less milk. Weight loss
is bad for the cows you are intending to sell for meat because you get paid by the pound.
Less pounds leads to less dinero. Also if there is less milk produced, offspring can t be
sufficiently fed which can lead to slower growth in offspring or starvation of offspring,
resulting in economic loss as
The Deaths And Causes Of The Black Death
The Black Death is a deadly disease that arrived in Europe by sea October 1347. It was
12 Genoese trading ships that docked at the Sicilian port of a Messina after their long
travels through the Black Sea. When the people who gathered at the dock was met
with a horrific accident. Many people one the crew was dead and the people who were
alive was very ill. They weren t able to keep food down because of the pain they were
enduring, also overcoming a fever. But the weird thing was that they were covered in
mysterious black books that had blood and puss coming from them. By the time they
ordered for the ships to be taking away from the docks it was already too late so over the
next five years the Black Deathwould kill more than 20 million people in Europe and
that s almost в…“ of Europe s population. Indeed, even before the Death ships
maneuvered into port at Messina, numerous Europeans had heard bits of gossip about
an Awesome Epidemic that was cutting a lethal way over the exchange courses of the
Close and Far East. (Ahead of schedule in the 1340s, the illness had struck China,
India, Persia, Syria and Egypt.) Be that as it may, they were hardly prepared for the
ghastly reality of the Dark Demise. In men and ladies alike, the Italian writer Giovanni
Boccaccio expressed, toward the start of the disease, certain swellings, either on the
crotch or under the armpits... waxed to the bigness of a typical apple, others to the
measure of an egg, some more and some less, and
The Problem Of Inadequate Funds
As you are facing the situation of inadequate funds, are you looking for a provision from
where you can get assistance in monetary terms? Are you getting confused as to what
option to choose? Without thinking much, you can go for installment loans . By going
with this monetary service, the borrower can get hold of immediate cash support for
small needs. The nature of this facility is short term. This makes the rate of interestquite
high. You should just take note of your want and state before you apply for the desired
sum. According to your settlement state and financial condition, you can obtain a sum
that falls in the range of ВЈ80 to ВЈ1500 that you have to pay back in the suitable
repayment time duration of 1 to 30 day. Once the installment loans comes to you, you

school and tuition fees, can pay the medical bills, can pay installments of the credit card,
can throw a party and so on. Put into use the free of cost and no obligation online
application form for immediate loans , which would have been made available to you
on the website of the money lenders. From the comfort of your home or office, fill it
with your genuine personal details. As and when the process of application would be
over, you would get an approval easily. The money would get transferred into your bank
account, within 24 hours.

Mary Shelley s Presentation of the Relationship Between Frankenstein and the Creature It was on a dreary night of November that I beheld the accomplishment of my toils. These are the famous words of Mary Shelley that foretold the birth of Frankenstein s monster. A tale of catastrophe, love and endless yet hopeless toil; the tale of Victor Frankenstein is a perfect example of early gothic literature. Born on a dreary summer in 1816, his story has been immortalised in not only the pages of many books but also on the silver screen. Like many of its genre, Frankenstein is a terrifically dark yet pioneering story. Its graveyard settings, the persecuted maiden, and the seemingly forlorn character ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Time and time again throughout the book this is proven through not only Frankenstein s ever persistent hunting of the creature but also the creatures need to be close to Frankenstein. It is this relationship that Mary Shelley exploits, through the use of language, which keeps the reader interested throughout the book. It is not until the fifth chapter that Frankenstein s lust for the creature, and ensuing obsession for the gift of life is quite realised. Set on a dreary night of November , as the rain pattered dismally against the panes , Mary Shelly immediately provides the reader with a classic gothic scene, readying them for the obvious catastrophes that are about to ensue. The addition of the tension provided by Frankenstein s comments as he collected the instruments of life around him , and suffered with an anxiety that almost amounted to agony stand well in giving the reader some idea of how long this moment has been in preparation. Shelley goes on to provide a gruesome description of the creature: His yellow skin scarcely covered the muscles … his hair was of a lustrous black … his teeth a pearly white … these luxuriance s only formed a more horrid contrast with his watery eyes . It is at this description that Frankenstein comments of it being beautiful . This reaction could be compared to that of a parent whose love for their child is so obsessive and

Netflix is currently doing very well, rated as one of the best TV shows and movies broadcasters, compared to their competitors. Though, their revenue and subscription growth is continuing to grow, they are still struggling with some issues. The central issue Netflix is currently facing is outdated movies and TV shows as well as inconsistency in their content provided every year, which leads to declining subscribers and a struggle to retain their current customers. Netflix is known to be the world s largest Internet television provider but their TV shows and movies are outdated. An example of this concern is that, you can watch season 10 of Supernatural on Hulu but Netflix only provides up to season 9. Also, Hulu and other websites shows Vampire Diaries up to season 6 but
  • 4. Freire s Theory Of The Oppressed And The Oppressor... As society continues to evolve people maintain their quest to accept full humanity, in this process individuals question not only who their authentic self is, but what is keeping them from accepting that version of themselves. A question which Freire addresses in his Pedagogy of the Oppressed as he emphasizes how liberation transcends time, and atmosphere. Instead he chooses to illustrate a process which is embodied by acceptance of the oppressor, activism, fellowship, solidarity, and reflection, it is these components that create the means for a successful path to liberation, while simultaneously allowing for the identification of personal and societal growth (Paulo Freire, Pedagogy of the Oppressed). Finally in Brooks Year Of Wonders Anna continues to learn about nature of religion as the novel progresses. As she realizes how it has been unsuccessful in ending the Plague she beings to reflect on the role of religion in her life stating His wife had been hacked down in front of him. What do these characters plights illustrate? They not only condone Freire s ideas but emphasize how in society is in incredulously important that people take the time to continue their quest for knowledge and use self reflection as a tool to understand what is holding one back from accepting full humanity. Freire s ideas continue to be reflected in the plights of the main characters as he examines the value of solidarity and fellowship in combatting oppression. The Buckley Lj On Employment Law The Buckley LJ comments set out in Montgomery v Johnson Underwood concerning employment relationship determinations involving mutual obligation and control concepts, underscore modern English employment law s evolutionary character. The employment law jurisprudence to which Montgomery v Johnson Underwood contributes is reviewed below. The critical evaluation advanced in the following sections confirms the now well entrenched mutuality test is a reasonable means by which this familiar but elusive question concerning employee versus independent contractorstatus is consistently resolved. No test devised to deal with highly circumstance driven legal issues will provide perfect solutions in every case the employment agencycircumstances considered in Montgomery confirm this observation. The mutuality test delivers an appropriate level of essential predictability in this area. The broader Montgomery v Johnson Underwood context The three cornered dealings typically arising between a business enterprise, employment agency, and a client the agency places with the enterprise provide essential context to Buckley LJ s Montgomery observations. The Montgomery claimant was placed by the defendant agency with the agency s client company as a receptionist. After two years, the agency gave the claimant termination notice at the company s request. At all material times, the claimant took her day to day workplace direction from the company, not the agency. However, pursuant

  • 8. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Polyploidy Definition: Polyploidy is the heritable condition in which a normally diploid cell or organism acquires one or more additional sets of chromosomes. Polyploidy refers to a numerical change in a whole set of chromosomes. Organisms in which a particular chromosome, or chromosome segment, is under or overrepresented are said to be aneuploid. Therefore, the distinction between aneuploidy and polyploidy is that aneuploidy refers to a numerical change in part of the chromosome set, whereas polyploidy refers to a numerical change in the whole set of chromosomes. One example may be the widespread dispersal of the invasive allopolyploid Spartina angelica. However, it is not clear whether the success of this species can be attributed to fixed heterosis or to the increased variability that results from epigenetic remodeling. Polyploidy is also believed to play a role in the rapid adaptation of some allopolyploid arctic flora, probably because their genomes confer hybrid vigor and buffer against the effects of inbreeding. However, fertility barriers between species often need to be overcome in order to form successful allopolyploids, and these barriers may have an epigenetic

Change Blindness And Its Effects On Blindness Many studies and experiments have been conducted to explain why change blindness occurs and in what situations is change blindness more likely to occur. Literature on change blindness is quite extensive, as it is an emerging area in psychology. A number of researchers have conducted experiments into the key areas where change blindnesshas been found to cause consequential outcomes. These areas include the effects of change blindness on eye witness testimonies, driving ability, and effects on autism. Literature on change blindness places an emphasis on methodology and this literature review will focus primarily on this. According to Simons Levin (1998) change blindness is the phenomenon that occurs when a person fails to detect large changes between one viewed scene and another. Recent studies show similar findings and evidence as to the original literature into change blindness. As stated by Rensink, 2002 (as cited in Davies Hone, 2007), change blindness has been the subject of intensive research in recent years beginning with studies in which researchers manipulated the content of abstract scenes. Researchers do differ on their perspectives on change blindness depending upon their method approach and background or field; however literature is largely in an agreed consensus as to what change blindness is and its effects on attention. Change blindness is studied by using the methodology of change detection, which is where participants are shown two stimuli that are

Among these, microcontrollers stand as a lower cost alternative, satisfactory reliability, simplicity, reduced consumption energy, however, with limited memory capacity and processing. A microcontroller contains a processor, memory access and peripheral input / output. It is a microprocessor that can be programmed for specific functions, in contrast to other general purpose microprocessors (such as those used in PCs). Basically, the use of a microcontroller is in the processing of data from one of your peripherals, with the set of output data. For example, send data via serial port or generate a reaction in system as an LED light. The architecture of a microcontroller generally consists of a core processing, bus and Peripherals: Processing core consists of the data processor (calculations, flow control program, etc.) and administration of peripherals. Bus is divided into data and address, is on the lines of communication between the processor and peripherals. Peripherals characterize the set of features available by the microcontroller and are controlled by the processor. For example, memory, serial port, parallel port and AD converter. Microcontrollers are typically used in automation and control products and peripherals, such as control systems of automotive engines, remote controls, machines, etc.

In 2013, developing nations received nearly 800 billion dollars of FDI, accounting for 54% of total global inflows (UNCTAD 2). Nations with large inflows of foreign direct investment still have a hold over their nation, and are allowed to set the terms and conditions of foreign investment. Though governments may have to enforce policies to make their nations more enticing to FDI, this decision remains solely theirs. Sovereignty remains in the hands of leaders of the state, not leaders of corporations. The inclusion of Foreign Investment into a nation s economy does not preclude it from continuing its tradition of government, but rather allows them to collaborate with outside organizations to help aid the creation and institution of a more stable state politically, socially, and economically. Context and Importance For many nations with weaker economic systems, Foreign Direct Investment can seem like a daunting, and perhaps even unnecessary facet of day to day economic happenings. In the face of decolonization in the 1960s, many formerly colonized nations subscribed to two separate economic models: Import Substituting Industrialization (ISI) or Export Oriented Industrialization (EOI). Import Substituting Industrialization relies upon heavy taxation of agriculture, and a movement towards autarky that hinges on the production of everything that may be imported within the nation. The thinking behind ISI suggests that government investment into all industries of a developing nation

Every single president since Herbert Hoover during the great depression of the late 1920s and early 1930s has managed to create at least one year of above average economic growth, except for one. During his presidency, the labor force participation rate fell to its lowest in over 35 years ( Unemployment ). Many people argue that Obama was dealing with the aftermath of a recession and thus his economic performance should be judged more favorably. The graph of this function is shown below On the graph above you can see that both the quadratic and the line are both adequate representations of the data collected by gold medalists for the men s high jumps in the Olympics. Both of these lines follow the plots made on the original graph and they don t stray too far from those lines either. There only outlier for the quadratic seem to be the medalist from the 1948 Olympics because his height is far below the quadratic. There might be some problems with the exact position of where the quadratic is and where the line is because they were drawn by hand and not on the computer like the stat plots which could potentially cause problems for interpreting the data. To figure out what the predicted outcome of both the 1940 and 1944 Olympics all you have to do is plug in 1940 in to the equation y=3.02x+191, which was what was used in the graph that showed just the linear equation, to figure out this answer for the 1940 Olympics. You can do this because in this case the x represents the year and when you place in the year and solve out the equation you get what the predicted height would be for 1940. When you plug in all the numbers you get 200.6 cm as the predicted height for 1940. In the case of 1944 you would do the exact same thing but instead of plugging in 1940 in for x you would plug 1944 into the equation. For the 1944 the predicted answer for the height of the men s long jump would be 200.3 cm. The problem also

  • 19. Promoting Resilience in Nursing Promoting Resilience Resilience is defined as a person s ability to weather adversity and come out of it with a stronger ability to deal with the next challenge (Mosby s Medical Dictionary, n.d.). Resilience can be noted as a trait within an individual as well as a process through which a person undergoes during adversity (Jacelon, 1997). Measuring resilience can be done by assessing certain qualities within an individual and asking questions to elicit better understanding of their current psychological state (Wagnild Collins, 2009). Nurses must have a thorough comprehension of resilience and how to measure and promote this among individuals who are met with health challenges. By doing this nurses are better able to provide holistic client centred care and inform the nursing profession. Defining Resilience Resilience is a term that is often applied to those who have faced hardship and viewed the experience in a positive light as an opportunity to grow and change for the better (Wagnild Collins, 2009). The definition however seems to vary from place to place. Ungar et al. (2008) stated definitions of resilience are ambiguous when viewed across cultures (p.174) which is why the understanding of resilience may be difficult to capture (as cited in Windle, Bennett Noyes, 2011). Although the literature agrees on several common themes about resilience there are many varying opinions on how to define the concept or the attributing factors. Earvolino Ramirez (2007) and

The actual tapeworms are a species of parasitic flatworm know as a cestode. It is a long, thin worm that attaches itself to the intestine of the host by a sucker or hooks in its head. The body of the worm is made up of detachable segments and, as the segments mature, thousands of eggs form in each segment.
