Synthesize / Create Students will create a Chinese landscape painting in an India ink wash on watercolor paper showing value shifts from foreground, middle ground, and background, with emphasis on Aerial Perspective. As an added global and technology connection, students will use Google to translate an inspirational quote into Chinese characters which they will draw in red sharpie on their finished landscapes.

Artemisia Gentileschi ver 2
It is still difficult to believe such competent and successful female printer exist in the early 17th Century (the Baroque era) She was rape by her teacher at the age of 18. Because of that much had been written about her from the feminist point of view, which I think is a mistake. It really does her a dis-service and took away her artistic achievements. We should stick to facts and evidences rather than the speculations of how the her mental state. It is stupid to psychoanalyse someone who live centuries ago without basis.
There are several points that stood out about Artemisia
She was very successful, her patronage include the royalties of England, France and the Medici. She worked in many cities. She would be successful even by today’s standard.
Her paintings lack the ‘female’ touch. It is indeed difficult to tell from looking at the painting alone that they were painted by a woman.
Her attention to details and gestures shows that she was a thinking artist. This can be demonstrated by the two versions of Judith Slaying Hologernes.
She likes strong colours particularly golden yellow and beautiful dresses.
Her family relationship with her father and children were good.
She liked the company of men and had many lovers.
I think, her paintings were the equivalent of a fast action movie of today, full of movements and a bit of sex and violence on the side.

Now happily married by the second time, he was famous for his society portraits and erotic nudes. He died in Paris, at the age of 86.

Neoimpressionism and postimpressionism

Post-impressionism emerged afterwards as an extension of impressionism that sought to convey more emotion through color and brushwork while retaining realistic themes. Leading post-impressionist artists were Paul Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Paul Cézanne. Workshop 8 Teaching about Visual Arts
Art, and especially visual arts, is the topic that requires both background knowledge and imagination. Most teachers are afraid of it, the same as most students are bored with it. However, with the concept maps and cause-and-effect sentences it may become a source of fun in the English classroom. So, to make teaching of art more effective, I suggest a couple of ideas, which will also be the key points for the workshop:
1) Basic history of art - it gives us not just facts but useful vocabulary for describing works of art.
2) Elements of design and what they mean.
3) How to describe a picture or a photograph.

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is

- 9. Aerial Perspective As objects get closer to the horizon (or further away), they appear lighter in value, less detailed, and bluer or cooler in color.

They also belong to the oldest group. • Unlike Western paintings, they consist of patterns or designs, not pictures. • For example, they often represent nature. Chinese paintings are used with only a couple of colors. Sometimes they only consist of black and white. Most of the drawings are made up of dots and lines.
