Gender Roles In STEM
Over the course of history, advances made by women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics (STEM) have been overshadowed and downplayed due to a male dominant culture
in these fields. The primary reason for these fields being dominated by males is the way women
have been forced into gender roles over the course of history. Women with ambition to build,
create, and discover have been discouraged from following their passions and are instead told to
focus on raising their children. This discrimination has hurt the overall progress in scientific
communities as it has limited women in the resources available to them and has forced them to
work in the shadows. Yet there has still been great progress in STEM made by women. Over the past

Many women end up surrounded by male peers with no one to relate to in their coursework. Women
may find themselves isolated in their classes and unable to find academic organizations on campus
that support women majoring in STEM. Being unrepresented in STEM academia and having a
limited amount of peers to relate to leads to discouragement. Women also face harsher criticism due
to male bias within the STEM communities. This criticism comes not only from their male peers,
but from administrative staff at institutions as well. One study shows that many woman applying for
STEM related scholarships have had to be up to 2.5 times more productive than men to be
considered equally competent (Barres, 386). This is again due to the gender stereotypes that have
become imbedded within society. This bias also means women pursuing STEM degrees are put at
a disadvantage in regards to selective processes for internships and academic clubs. By constantly
having to prove themselves and repeatedly being discouraged by their environment, women
studying STEM have a much harder time than men staying motivated in their courses. This of
course leads to lower grades and a greater likelihood of dropping out of their programs. It is also
safe to assume that creating an environment that causes women to constantly doubt themselves will
have a negative impact on their academic performance; any student male or female must believe in
themselves to be able to

Ozone Depletion Essay
Ozone Depletion
In this world of rapid change, it s extremely difficult for a company to stay ahead of the game even
using all the resources available to them. So, it s difficult to imagine the problems they would run
into when a group of environmentalists decide to boycott a substance which is the foundation of
their company. These chemicals, although very useful, cause consequences that need to be dealt
with now in order to prevent further damage.
The chemicals in question are numerous, but the two gaining the most attention are
chloroflurocarbons (CFC s) and carbon tetrachloride. CFC s have a wide range of uses, but are
popularly used in aerosol propellants and air ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most importantly it affects quot;microscopic photoplankton quot; which rest at the bottom of the
food chain, placing us in extreme danger (Goldfarb 288). Henry Lee, leading researcher on ozone
depletion for the
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), says that UV rays will only have a slight effect on
oceans, though. He says the problem lies on the fact that 70 percent of the Earth s surface is
covered with water, making it a widespread problem.
In addition to that, humans exposed to excess UV rays over a period of time are likely to
develop some form of cancer (Singer and Crandall npg). The EPA released a report that stated if
CFC s weren t controlled, in the future there will be approximately quot;40 million additional cases
of non melanoma skin cancer found and 800,000 additional skin cancer deaths quot; (Singer and
Crandall npg).
Now that scientists know what these and other quot;culprits quot; do, they re trying to find
solutions to this world wide problem. When they found these chemicals to be harmful,
environmentalists didn t hesitate in taking action.
They placed a boycott on the use of aerosol spray cans. The U.S. and Canada responded by
banning quot;CFC powered spray cans, quot; and that, along with Europe agreeing to cut back by
35 percent, caused the rate of damage to fall drastically (Singer and Crandall npg). Therefore,
manufacturers have to stop using these. The only other

The Positive And Negative Influences Of Reality Shows
The purpose of this source is to measure the positive and negative influences of reality television
programs on preteen and adolescent girls whom age ranges from eleven to seventeen years old. In
this source, many studies are conducted to observe the behavior of the adolescent girls after they
watched reality shows. For example, researchers found that if adolescent girls watched cosmetic
surgery reality shows, they would have higher disordered eating attitudes than others would. On the
contrary, some investigators discovered cosmetic surgery reality programs could in fact bring
positive influence to teenage girls by letting them to know the benefits of cosmetic surgery.
Therefore, researchers conclude young adults are more willing to change their appearance through
cosmetic surgery after they have seen cosmetic surgery reality shows and that proves positive
outcomes indeed exits in reality shows. Another study is created to examine the realness of reality
televisionshows. It is implemented because people are becoming concern that reality shows are
often scripted and they do not necessary indicate reality. Although the source does not explicitly
explain why people s perception of the realness of reality show is important, it reveals if a reality
televisionhas an impact on viewers behavior, then these shows will be considered as real. Based on
these studies, researchers conclude the category of each reality show will determine whether there

Compare And Contrast Children And Adults
Most people will say that the best days of your life are going to be during your youth, where you
didn t have to worry about anything and had no responsibilities. When I was a young child, I
remember wanting to be a grown up so bad that I got mad at my parents because they treated me
like a kid. To this day, I still do not understand why kids wantto grow up and be adults so quickly.
Now that I m slowly turning into an adult, I can tell that kids have it way easier than adults do.
Being a child is probably the best thingthat can ever happen to you. When you re a child you have
nothing to worry about. Children have responsibilities that only involve housework or school.
They have to wash dishes, clean their rooms, make the bed, and take out the trash. These are
called chores, and most normal kids hate doing chores. These responsibilities are mainly at
home jobs, and they have more that involve schoolwork. A child is responsible for finishing
class and homework when the teacher asks them to and are also held responsible to be the best
kids they can be at school. A child does not have as many responsibilities as an adult and that s
good because they are still kids and don t need to be stressed out a whole lot. Kids have it easier
because when... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Both adults and kids continue to grow even though they are different ages. Children and adults both
have emotions and also get sick from time to time. Adults and children go through hard times and it
is what makes them who they are. There are many similarities between adults and children but these

Inigo Jones And The Queens House
Throughout this essay I will explore to what extent Inigo Jones s design for the Queens House
was inspired by the works of Palladio and Palladian architecture and 15 16th century European
architectural precedents, while also exploring the role the building played on the development of
Neoclassical architecture on a wider scale. The Queens House represents the stylistic point of
origin for the great imposing buildings surrounding Greenwich but also for Neo Classical
architecture in Britain more generally. The formative years of the designer, Inigo Jones (1573
1652) is largely unknown although its believed he trained as a joiner and received no formal
architectural education. Its documented that in the year 1597 he visited Italy several... Show more

The Queens house, his first residential project gave him the chance to implement these ideas in
practice. Jones career was prolific, although a lot of what he created or modified has since
disappeared. Some of the buildings that remain include Banqueting Hall at Whitehall, the Queen s
Chapel at St James s Palace and St Paul s Church. He also consulted on the reconstruction of
Somerset House and the Covent Garden Piazza.
Palladian architecture is based on the symmetry and perspective of classical architecture,
particularly the temples of the Ancient Greeks and Romans. It was characterised by the use of
pediments and symmetry, and proportions that were based on mathematics rather than ornament.
Palladian architecture is recognisable for its classical facades. Some of the defining features of
Palladianism include the use of Corinthian columns, decorative motifs such as masked faces and
scallop shells. Pediments used over doors and windows, both external and internal. Terms free

used the orders of classical columns in his buildings. Many of these architectural precedents

Abraham Lincoln the 16th President of the United States was always known as Honest Abe and

Also, it is self evident that Lincoln wants to finish the war, not end the war. In the Cartoon by
Currier and Ives, The Old Bulldog, Democratic nominee McClellan is portrayed as asking
Lincoln to call off the old dog (Grant). To which Lincoln replies I think its best to give the old
bull dog full swing to go in and finish them! (Currier 1). Although modern day presidents have
attempted to avoid the suspension of Habeas Corpus, by using military tribunals, no modern day
president has faced such a drastic situation as Lincoln did with his country on the verge of self
detonation. The Civil War called for drastic measure to be taken and although the core issue within
the Civil War was States rights, I believe as an African American male that the underlying, but most
commonly talked about issue with the civil war was the fight on slavery. I believe that Lincoln was
right in his actions of suspending Habeas Corpus. Even though he might not have had the
constitutional right himself, I believe that he used the suspension in exactly the way the fore fathers

Iago s Motives Of Stock Characters In Othello
can be interpreted in many ways, each person views it differently. Each account being influenced
by the viewers [audience] own life experiences. Rosenberg and McCloskey, unlike Stempel, are
very sympathetic of Iago. I think that when trying to understand the character Iago, first we need
to recognize what Shakespeare s original intentions for the play were, and also the style of plays
he tended to write, as they all have obvious similarities. Rather than writing about stock
characters, which was common in the theater during Elizabethan times, Shakespeare wrote about
people who seemed real. Rosenberg believes that Shakespeare s intentions for the play was to be

McCloskey, in order to determine what Iago s motives were in Othello by William Shakespeare.
Stempel is very much a symbolist critic. Stempel is of the belief that Iago is the symbol of evil,
he has little sympathy towards Iago, in that he compares him to the devil. On the other hand
Rosenberg argues against Stempel, claiming that Iago is an intelligent, cunning character who is
like many characters so commonly used the psychological style of writing. McCloskey similar
to Rosenberg thinks that Iago was a man who merely set out to seek justice, who had gotten so
far that it was too late to remove himself from the situation. After researching and examining the
papers of these critics it has become clear that Iago did not carry out evil for the sake of it, he
had a motive. Iago had a lot of jealous and hate built up inside of him, he, like many people had a
reputation to attain. Since Othello and Cassio harmed his reputation, he planned to get revenge.
Overcome with power, and emotions, Iago lacked the will to refrain himself from causing such

How Does Woolf Present Women In The Great Gatsby

Dalloway and women in the 1920s in general. In this story, Clarissa Dalloway is a character who
most likely to be expressed as mellow and miserable. She is miserable and sad because she is
most likely stuck in her previous life, regarding her previous relationship and memories with
somebody. She has been thinking about it every single day and she cannot get rid of it. Her

Aid For Airline And Its Impact On The Tourism Industry
Aid for Airline?
Qantas airlines are an iconic Australian business, which has heavily shaped the tourism industry.
However in the 2013 14 financial year, (Qantas, 2014, pg.1) due to falls in revenue, growing
competition and high expenses the airline reported a 2.8 billion dollar loss. (Mccrann, 2014) It was
then that the company felt it required government support to assist them in getting back on their
feet. Commonly referred to as a bailout and in this case more specifically a debt guarantee , this
would involve the Australian Government covering Qantas debts, should the company collapse.
(Mcllroy, 2014, p9) There were mixed views on this particular issue between different MP s,
different political parties and against Qantas itself. After much debate on the issue however it was
declared that the Government would not grant a debt guarantee to Qantas. (Coorey, 2014) This
essay takes into account both sides of this debate and explains why the ultimate decision by the
Government not to financially support Qantas was justified.
From July 2013 to July2014, Qantas reported a statutory loss of 2.84 billion dollars (Qantas, 2014,
p1) and job cuts of approximately 5,000. (Boyle, 2014, p3) According to some commentators
continued decline of this scale would bankrupt the airline. (Mccrann, 2014)
There are several explanations as to why Qantas was struggling so much to remain profitable. One
being an increase in fuel costs of 6 per cent ($253 million). (Qantas, 2014, p1)This

Senior Portfolios In High Schools
High Schools throughout the country have different graduation requirements for their seniors. At
Preston High School, a senior portfolio is a requirement to graduate. For the portfolio, students
must collect all of their accomplishments and report cards to place into a binder. The binder will
then be presented to employees of businesses. Another example of a graduation requirement would
be community service. For example, Maryland schools require 75 hours of studentservice. Based
upon research, some experts say that community service should be voluntary; however, it gets
students involved in the community, allows for better schooling, and gives students a better work
experience. First of all, senior portfolios only expand upon the students themselves. Community
service allows students to get involved with their community. Technically, the community helps pay
for schooling, so it would be nice for the students to reciprocate by contributing to their hometowns.
Students could get involved and contribute by picking up trash around the streets, or volunteering at
the local food drive. By doing so, the teenagers will get to know the people of their community.
They will also gain a knowledge of important town events such as the food drive or the community
festivals. In addition, the students will learn about the community... Show more content on

Kluckhohn and Strodbeck’s Value Model
Abstract: Culture is the holistic interrelationship of a group s identity, beliefs, values, activities,
rules, customs, communication patterns, and institutions. (Dodd, 1998) Values are important
components of a given culture accepted by individuals sharing that culture. They are deep and
hidden elements of the cultural iceberg that are seldom questioned or defended but can reflect
different characteristics of different cultures. Kluckhohn and Strodbeck s valuemodel is used here to
analyze distinct Chinese and American culture. Key words:culture; values; Kluckhohn and

In the Bible story of Adam and Eve, God throws them out of the Garden of Eden because they ate
the fruit from the Tree of knowledge. But with modernism came a sense that progress improves
the world and the people in it, and actually already with Puritanism came the work ethic which in
a sense suggested that if a person works hard he can overcome his sinful nature as stated in busy
hands make for good morals and idle hands are the devil s opportunity . Democratic and
educational ideals also work toward the improvement of mankind. (Kulich, personal email to the

that the traditional belief continues to flourish, for example among fundamentalist Christians who

Seamus Heaney s Mid Term Break
Everybody knows the feeling of losing a loved one, a friend, or family member. Everyone has
been to at least one funeral, and it s very sad and at times uncomfortable. The awkward
interactions with people saying sorry or the feeling of seeing the ones you love be in such pain.
In the poem, Mid term Break , published in 1966, Seamus Heaney touches this subject in every
aspect. In Mid term Break Heaney tells the story of a young man whose brother has died and he
comes home to the funeral. As the boy enters his house he sees things that are now different after
the death of his brother. Heaney s words and use of poetic devices draws a picture of the sad
scene. In this poem Heaney writes about a death which is typical for many of his poems. James
Persoon, a writer for The Facts On File Companion to British Poetry, 1900 to Present, writes that
Heaney here draws on his own experience in having an adolescent speaker reflect on the death
of his four year old brother, for the poet s brother, Christopher, was killed in a car accident at age
four in 1953. (Persoon). Not only can one see that Heaney s emotions were put into this poem
but also his own life experiences. Losing a family member is hard enough, and it is even harder
when that person is young because no one will ever know the full potential that person could have
had if they had not died. The language Heaney uses allows the reader to see the importance of the
main character. It also shows the significance of the

Potential for Victoria s Dairy Industry to Move towards a Partial Mixed Ration Feeding System
Jasmine Hasluck
Feed is a major cost in the production of milk so it is important for Victorian dairy farmers to
consider which feeding strategy is going to be the most efficient in generating high profit and
productivity. We can broadly group dairy feeding strategies into 5 systems (Little, S 2010).
System 1 is pasture based with other forages and up to 1 tonne of grain or concentrates fed in bail.
System 2 is pasture based with other forages and more than 1 tonne of grain or concentrate fed in
bail. System 3 is a partial mixed ration (PMR) fed on a feed pad, grazed pasture and grain or
concentrate may be fed in bail. System 4 is a hybrid system, ... Show more content on

It requires minimal capital and infrastructure by allowing cattle to graze pasture. However this
system has become less efficient as Victorian dairy farms have become more intense and
climatic conditions and milk prices are volatile. Since the price of milk became deregulated in
2000 there was a push for Australian dairy farms to become more productive to remain
competitive with international dairy industries (Edwards, G 2003). This led to increases in
stocking density and ultimately put pressure on pasture supply. Rainfall is a limiting factor on
pasture growth and year to year variability in rainfall has had a huge negative effect on Victorian
dairy farmers. In 2009/10 Victoria was faced with severe droughts, which showed a fall in milk
production of over 340 million litres (Dairy Australia, 2015). During an extended period of low
rainfall the quantity and quality of pasture is limited, which means pasture based farms are forced
to buy in supplementary feed and/or irrigation water to satisfy the feed requirements of dairy cattle.
Climatic variability poses a high risk in this system, which has led to farmers to start considering
other feeding options such as a partial mixed ration which might alleviate this risk. Figure 1. Dairy
Feeding Systems (Little, S 2010)
Partial mixed ration systems combine the cost effectiveness of pasture based feeding with a
formulated diet which gives the potential to improve productivity and decrease the risk associated

Civil War Women Spies Essay
During the civil war women were more important than everyone thinks. The reason this is true is
because during the civil war women there were women spies, who men who help people in the

During the civil war there where 3 major women spies Rose O Neal Greenhow, Harriet Tubman
and Belle Boyd. Rose O Neal Greenhow was the wife of a rich and prominent doctor, until her
husband an 5 of their 8 children died. Some after their death, she got information about the Union

This is because they had to do lots of work and not easy work. Many elite women help with an

like that they would make stuff for people in the war. For example, women treated shirkers with
scorn often shaming them into service. Any women in the family would also manage their homes,
farms, plantations, and business. Women also formed aid societies to provide soldiers with socks,

Computers Can Not Have Minds
Alan Turing, father of modern computers, created the Turing Machine in order to prove, through
the use of an imitation game, that computers can think. John Searle argued that the Turing Test is
simply just imitating, rather than thinking. Based on Searle s argument against the Turing Test, I
think that computers cannot have minds. Although Turing argues that computers can think, there
are many arguments, such as Searle s Chinese room argument, and defenses that I will present that
support Searle and his belief that computers do not understand the information they simulate and
cannot think. As stated above, the purpose of the Turing Machine is to prove that computers can
think. A Turing Machine is composed of a scanner with a tape made of paper running through it.
This paper tape is divided into squares. Each square on the tape contains a symbol, either a 0 of a
1. The machine, along with two humans, will participate in an imitation game. Human A and the
Turing Machine are hidden from view of Human B and have a conversation in order for Human B
to try to determine which of the communicators is a robot, if either one is a robot. The machine s
goal is to trick Human B into thinking it (the machine) is the human. Turing states that if the
machine is successful, then the machine does have a mind. Turing s machine has the ability to
answer any question presented to it, and Turing saw this ability as a sign of extreme intelligence.
On the other hand, Searle argued that this

Overcoming The Challenges Of Corraditional Family And...
Nontraditional families have become more and more common today, these include stepfamily and
blended family systems, single parent families, and same sex couples. It is hard enough to cope
with the challenges however, when you add the military culture it can become even tougher to deal
and overcome these challenges. We will explore the nontraditional familyand some of their
challenges.
Stepfamilies
Divorced spouses subsystem can impact the entire family in a positive or negative manner. For
the positive effects, we can see that these couples that tend to support each other are able to
really act as civilized adults and move on. This is generally because of the commitment to the
child(ren), by years of common history and/or friends, or genuine concern for each other (Hall,
2016, p.123) . When the positive effects occur, one can see healthy relationships built with each
other, the child(ren), and the new partner as well. This allows for the child(ren) to get the proper
discipline and guidance that is very much needed in children today. On the flip side of this the
negative effects can be caused by revenge, distrust, or anger (Hall, 2016, p.123) . This can cause
tension among the ex couple, family, friends, child(ren), or even the new relationship. This makes it
very difficult for the child(ren) involved to adjust to their new found lifestyle. Another challenge
here is when the military member lives some distance from the child(ren) home; if the member lives

in chief entrusts him with a mission, and he is not only ready, but also willing to discharge his
mission by any means necessary, Jordan is tough, principled, heroic and doomed. Yet he carries

Emergency Management Research Paper
Abstract This paper will discuss some of the forms of violence that occurs following disasters.
Natural and man made disasters may result in significant devastation, causing a total collapse of the
affecting community, the law enforcement that oversees the community, availability of health care,
the displacement of people; all are contributing factors to potential violence. The resulting impact of
the affected community is significantly compounded on the most vulnerable. Emergency personnel
from their subsequent agencies are faced with the reality of potential violence against themselves

The amount of anxiety and stress increases dramatically on a community following a natural or

impacted by the disaster. This mental distress is a direct result of the challenges that exist for the
affected population in meeting their daily essential needs. The lack of essential needs is
compounded by the lack of available health care as well as emergency services, resulting in a
breeding ground for potential violence. Planning for and taking new approaches towards mitigating

What s Wrong With Cinderella Analysis
Problems With Princesses
In Peggy Orenstein s article, What s wrong with Cinderella? she discusses the problems with
princesses. The first problem being that princess merchandise is everywhere. Orenstein writes
about when she took her daughter to the dentist and once the check up was over, her daughter
got a princess sticker. Princesses are embedded into a child s everyday life, making a princess
more of a way of living than a fantasy. To further this point, Orenstein mentions how even now, in
a show that is supposed to be about teaching other languages, Dora the Explorer, has turned into
Dora finding a fairy tale land where she becomes a princess at the end of her two part movie. This
is only the beginning of the issues that are brought to attention in this article.
She mentions how all girls are exposed to princesses, no matter where they go. Orenstein expresses
her concern as a parent and how princesses could be damaging to the mental and emotional ... Show

This is because Tinker Bell s reign as a princess didn t last, and Mulan and Pocahontas don t have
glamorous outfits like the traditional princesses, even though they seem to be the most
independent. This implies that an important aspect of being a princess is having a ballroom gown
to go along with your title. Beautiful gowns have become something that coincides with princesses
and their culture, making this something that little girls pay attention to. However, when [princess
culture] is so dominant then it s no longer a choice, She carries out her argument by stating that
there are 25,000 princess products, so no matter where you go you can t really get away from that.

While there were a few similarities between the Spanish and English colonial societies due to alike
geography and and political structure, there were many differences that played into the different
development of the two societies, including differences in religion, economy, relations with the

The English colonies were established by royal charter and started in Virginia and Massachusetts,
but then later continued to spread along the coast. The English were accustomed to a Parliament
and a limited monarchy, and used this to provide the basis for their government in the colonies. The
Spanish, however, sent royal conquests to the Americas in order to settle colonies and expand the

Adults And The Influence Of Empathy In Adults
As with many other skills, empathy is a learned skill that requires an awareness that other people
think, feel, and behave in ways that are both similar and different from one s self, or put simply,
being able to relate to and understand what another person is experiencing or feeling (McDonald
Messinger, 2011). One of the first experiences that people have with empathyfrequently appears as a
baby when we hear another infant cry (Szalavitz, 2010). Other research has shown that infants not
only favor adults who appear to be more helpful, but they also tend to offer voluntary help to adults
who appear to be having difficulties when reaching for something (Szalavitz, 2010). Therefore,

The question of how long it will take a spacecraft to reach Mars depends on where we are
because both planets are constantly orbiting the Sun. According to Space.Com, on average, it
would take around 162 days to reach Mars [3] Because the Mars and Earth is so far away, we
can expect that there are many differences among the two planets. Living on Earth is as
comfortable as it is, and so this leads us to the question as to why we would want to risk our
health, and our life to go out into space and do explorations Different people have different say
in this matter, but Fox News has generated multiple reasons why we should have human
explorations on Mars. The first and most obvious reason would be because we want more
scientific knowledge and discover more about the Mars. We were able to gain many knowledge
about the Mars through robotic explorations, but scientist and others aspiring scientist have strong
enthusiasm that humans can do a more thorough exploration on the mars. The hopes of exploring
Mars and other planets will then inspire the younger generations to become more aware and

is known that Mars is the planet that is most similar to our planet Earth, so this challenges us to

Events such as World War I, the Russian Revolution, World War II, the Cold War and the Collapse
of the Soviet Union have all influenced Russia and therefore impacted on the current political
systems of Russia (Simkin, 2013). The above mentioned events will be discussed in order to
highlight the effect these events had on Russia.
WORLD WAR I (1914 1918)
It is believed that the assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand ultimately led to the war that
took place from 1914 1918 in which Russia suffered devastating losses (Johnson, 2007). Austria
declared war on Serbia and the Russian army was therefore mobilized to defend Serbia, and this
therefore resulted in hundreds and thousands of people being killed (Simkin, 2013). This war,
also known as the Great War , was divided into two opposing forces known as the Allies and the
Central Powers fought from a variety of networks (Trueman, 2013). Russia formed part of the
Allies and fought alongside France, Italy, Japan, Great Britain, and the United States, while the
Central Powers of Germany and Austria Hungary fought against them (Simkin, 2013). Trenches
also lined the Eastern front, where the Russians retreated after being defeated by the Germans in
September 1914 (Simkin, 2013). In 1918 Russia dropped out of the war so German troops could be
diverted from the Eastern front to the Western front (Simkin, 2013).

The Causes And Consequences Of The Iraq War
Time leading up to the start Iraq War, the United States had tried to remove or limit Saddam

There are many reasons for the Iraq War before and after the terrorist attack on 9/11. There was

Iraq and Al Qaeda; so, the United States said Iraq was supporting al Qaeda (Bassil,2012). One
more reason is the capture of Bin Laden, who was leader al Qaeda. Furthermore, reason the fear
of the weapons of mass destruction like VX gas, mustard gas, thiodiglycol, as well as tactical

Conch In Lord Of The Flies Symbolism Essay
Dylan Silverstein Mrs. Jackson Period 3 December 1, 2014 Symbolism of the Lord of the Flies
Symbolism is using an object to that is being represented by a symbol. It is a creative way to
describe something important in a story and to make the reader think. It even helps the reader
understand the importance of an object in the story and will help readers get into the book
more. In the story Lord of the Flies, Golding uses a conch, Piggy s glasses, and the scar on the

the democracy in the government the boys were able to say what ideas they had. Once they all
said their ideas they would all choose what ideas they thought would be the most effective in

George Babbitt s Characters And Conformist Social Roles
Secondly, the characters experience conformist social roles. George Babbitt conforms to the
social role of being a father and husband. In Babbitt s society it is expected for men to be the bread
winner of the family and also to be faithful to his wife even if they are out of love. Babbitt is
experiencing the social stress from conforming to appear the best possible husband and father he
can be. George is out of lovewith his wife. He met Myra Babbitt when he was in college and he
did not even love her to begin with. He believed he should marry her because she was a honest
and a good wife (Lewis 81) material. Most men and women married either married for money or
that they felt obligated to marry someone to because it is expected of them.
Their marriage grew to become boring which tends to happen in most marriages. Instead of
George leaving Myra he stays, because he feels it is his moral obligation to do so. Hence, he is
out of love it leads him to temptation. Babbitt imagines a fairy child (Lewis 5). He uses the fairy
child as his escape form reality. He knows he cannot morally cheat on his wife, therefore he
imagines a life without her with other women. The first woman he imagines being with is McGoun
(describe her from the book). The second woman he imagines being with is Eunice (describe her
from the book). The third woman is (look her up). All these women resemble what he wishes his
wife could be like, McGoun is a worker, Eunice is young, and the last one is lively, Myra is none
of these things. Myra has the social life of being a housewife. She plans dinners, she reads
magazine, her children do not pay attention, and her husband does not love her. While George is
going through struggle of being faithful, he eventually gives up and cheats on Myra. The social

The Approach At High Level
DevOps has been a buzzword for a while now in the tech industry, with many organizations joining
the bandwagon and working towards embracing the DevOps practices. Wiki describes Devops as a
practice that emphasizes the collaboration and communication of the IT professionals across the
value chain while automating the process of software delivery and infrastructure changes. The aim
is to deliver the software quickly and reliably.
However, in an enterprise scenario with the complexity involved, the journey to implement DevOps
comprehensively is evolutionary. Hence, it is only sensible to drive along an incremental adoption
path. Each increment has to provide the most benefits through the MVP (Minimum Viable Product)
delivered towards the DevOps journey.
In this context, this article attempts to explain the initial steps towards the larger DevOps journey
and helps to get a head start.
The approach at high level consists of four major steps:
Value stream mappingMapping the existing process workflows
Future state value stream mapping Identify the immediate goals and visualize the optimized value

Execution Incremental approach towards the implementation
Retrospection Review and learn
Ok, let s get started!
Value Stream Mapping
Value stream mapping is a lean improvement strategy that maps the processes and information
flows of a product from source to delivery. For a software delivery, it is the pre defined path an idea

The Process of DNA Replication Essay
The Process of DNA Replication
The process of DNA replication plays a crucial role in providing genetic continuity from one
generation to the next. Knowledge of the structure of DNA began with the discovery of nucleic
acids in 1869. In 1952, an accurate model of the DNA molecule was presented, thanks to the work
of Rosalind Franklin, James Watson, and Francis Crick. To reproduce, a cell must copy and
transmit its genetic information (DNA) to all of its progeny. To do so, DNA replicates following
the process of semi conservative replication. Two strands of DNA are obtained from one, having
produced two daughter molecules that are identical to one another and to the parent molecule. This
essay reviews the three stages ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Moreover, there are many enzymes that participate in the unwinding of the old strands of DNA
molecule such as topoisomerase. This enzyme is responsible for initiation of the unwinding of the
old strands of DNA molecule. Once supercoiling has been eliminated by the topoisomerase, helicase
accomplishes unwinding of the original double strand. In order to aid with the unwinding process,
DNA gyrase catalyzes the formation of negative supercoils. The unwound helix, with each strand
being synthesized into a new double helix, is called the replication fork.
The second stage of the process is complementary base pairing. In this stage, new complementary
nucleotides are positioned following the rules of complementary base pairing: adenine (A) to
thymine (T) and guanine (G) to cytosine (C). Then, the binding of free nucleotide with
complementary bases is catalyzed by DNA polymerase.
The last stage of the process, joining, involves bonding of complementary nucleotide to each other
so as to form new strands. The nucleotides are joined to one another by hydrogen bonds to form a
new DNA molecule. This joining continues until a new polynucleotide chain has been formed
alongside the old one, forming a new double helix molecule. This stage of the process also takes
place with the assistance of enzymes. The DNA polymerase links the complementary nucleotides

Bernard Williams Psychological Continuity
If on Tuesday, I suffer an accident and lose all of my memory, it is probable that my family and
friends will still love and care for me, creating an impression that I am indeed the same person I
once was. These conditions imply the theses of animalism and bodily continuity when it comes to
personal identity. However, is this human habit enough to discard the idea that it is psychological
continuity that sustains identity? Whilst many may argue that it would be against our intuition to
say that I am no longer the same person, I do not believe that this is caused by our intuition, but
instead a societal construct that s sole purpose is to make the trauma of the accident and loss easier
to deal with. By using this premise and upholding the psychological... Show more content on

Bernard Williams, initially illustrates psychological continuity in his paper The Self and the Future
with the example that if one was to undergo a brain transplant, your memories and other mental
features, the resulting person would be convinced that he or she was you . Williams describes how
persons A and B are changing bodies, then A chooses that the B body person should get the pleasant
treatment and the A body person the unpleasant treatment . Through Williams phrasing this notion
seems like the intuitive choice to pick, given that if we are switching bodies, then (if I am A), I
assume that I am now inhabiting the B body person. Using this premise, it seems clear that I am
only what stems from my memories, thus I am identified by my psychological continuity; on the
surface, this seems difficult to contest. However, Williams, goes on to illustrate how in the premise
of this argument there is an assumption. Williams defines the thought experiment again, but
depersonalises person B, and instead claims that changes in his character are produced, and at the
same time certain illusory memory beliefs are induced in him; this is essentially the same process
as what happen in the first instance, however, Williams refrains from referring to what happens to
the second person. Consequently, person A does not wish for the A body person to be tortured,
even though given the conclusion form the first example this body now contains a different person.
Given person A s emotive response, it would perhaps appear that, despite the lack of psychological
continuity, the A body person may in fact still be person A; therefore, psychological continuity may
not be an appropriate way to claim someone is the same person. Nevertheless, can we genuinely
claim that this emotive response can create a genuine criticism for this psychological continuity,

theories are never going to cease to exist; they are obsessive fanaticisms. Furthermore, the

Essay The Effectiveness of Wittes Economic Reform in Russia
The Effectiveness of Wittes Economic Reform in Russia
When Sergei Witte became minister of finance in Russia in 1892 he recognised that the economy
had to be modernised if Russia was to become a world power on a par with the west.
The Industrial Revolution that had taken place in the west had led to its massive economic
growth and an increase in power and Empire building. Being able to buy cheap, raw materials like
oil and coal from Russia fuelled part of the west s industrial revolution.
Witte decided that Russia needed state Capitalism to modernise. He borrowed capital and
encouraged investment from the west and large factories began to produce heavy industry like
steel. Witte imposed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Wittes economic policy seemed to be working as by 1897 the Russian currency, the Rouble, was
put on the Gold Standard which gave it value in exchange with other currencies. But there were
other problems that were beginning to undermine Wittes visions for a successful economy.
Although a brilliant mind, Witte was not an easy man to get on with and he was not popular with
the Tsarist court or the government. Change was resisted and Witte had no support for his vision of
a richer, more powerful, modernised Russia.
There was also conflict with the military commanders who pushed their needs for transport and
military hardware to the top of the economic agenda. These conflicts interfered with Wittes plans
and so by the time of the Great Trade Recession at the turn of the century, critics could identify
three major weaknesses in his economic reform. Witte paid
To drive his economic reform through without support or interest from the Tsarist court or the
government Witte (who was German) brought in many experienced foreign industrialist and capital
from the west to manage and finance his projects. This was not at all popular with the Tsaror Russia
who did not trust him. Wittes industrial projects were always large and on a grand scale. He failed
to nurture light engineering projects which would have helped to modernise

The Security, Legal, Ethical, Social And Responsibility...
Legality of Port Scanning Kevin Zheng Abstract In this paper I will discuss the security, legal,
ethical, social and responsibility issues of port scanning. The tool being covered in this exam
being used for port scanning is called nmap. Several options will be dicussed on how to use the
tool. Then there will be some discussion on the legal cases that was centered around port
scanning. At the end is a discussion on my opinions of port scanning over all. Introduction Port
scanning has many issue surrounding it. Port scanning is one of the most fundamental
techniques that a hacker can use to being an attack. Many systems can reveal vast amounts of
infrmaiton from being scanned. (Jamieson, 2001, p. 2). Ports are essentially connection
pathways that services use to communicate on the internet. Ports are similar to telephone
numbers in a commercial building. A building may have one number, however to reach specific
people inside, your call may be rerouted to a person s extension in order to get connected to that
person. A port scanning is essentially calling a building or business and then trying to reach all
possible extensions and see who answers. If the person does not pick up, you may hear in their
voicemail who they are. In port scanning, an attacker may be scanning the entire range of ports, or
extensions, from port 0 to port 65535. There are generally a few standard ports that are tied to

It has the correct fluid amount for the patient and providing an appropriate balance of
electrolytes. The dose was calculated from the Handbook of Nonprescription Drugs by taking
the mild treatment for dehydration 50 mL/kg. I used this value since TA s diarrhea was mild.
TA s weight is 14.54 kg; this value is used to get the mL value to administer (727 mL). Then
converted to fluid ounces for ease of patient understanding (24.57 fluid ounces). So I took this
value and divided it by four hours to get the dose per hour. This resulted to 6.14 fluid ounces
which I rounded down to 6 fluid ounces per hour. 5 ounces of pedialyte is to be administered for
every loose stool TA has. The value also comes from the Handbook of Nonprescription Drugs by
taking 10 mL/kg times 14.5 kg and converted to fluid ounces. I selected this product because it
being a ready to use product is a benefit of the product and the formulation is simple to use. It s
osmolarity is very related to the guidelines of WHO s 2006 ORS. Also, it comes in various flavors
which will promote patient compliance and TA will enjoy using the product. According to the

The positive impacts of tourism include the economic and socio culture impact on the Jamaican
society. Tourism increases employment opportunities. Additional jobs, ranging from low wage
entry level to high paying professional positions in management and technical fields, generate

tourism helps communities that are possibly dependent on only one industry. As tourism grows,
additional opportunities are created for investment, development, and infrastructure spending.
Tourism often induces improvements in public utilities such as water, sewer, sidewalks, lighting,
parking, public restrooms, litter control, and landscaping. Such improvements benefit tourists and
residents alike. Likewise, tourism encourages improvements in transport infrastructure resulting in
upgraded roads, airports, public transportation, and non traditional transportation (e.g., trails).
Tourism encourages new elements to join the retail mix, increasing opportunities for shopping and
adding healthy competitiveness. It often increases a community s tax revenues. Lodging and sales

  • 4. Gender Roles In STEM Over the course of history, advances made by women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) have been overshadowed and downplayed due to a male dominant culture in these fields. The primary reason for these fields being dominated by males is the way women have been forced into gender roles over the course of history. Women with ambition to build, create, and discover have been discouraged from following their passions and are instead told to focus on raising their children. This discrimination has hurt the overall progress in scientific communities as it has limited women in the resources available to them and has forced them to work in the shadows. Yet there has still been great progress in STEM made by women. Over the past ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Many women end up surrounded by male peers with no one to relate to in their coursework. Women may find themselves isolated in their classes and unable to find academic organizations on campus that support women majoring in STEM. Being unrepresented in STEM academia and having a limited amount of peers to relate to leads to discouragement. Women also face harsher criticism due to male bias within the STEM communities. This criticism comes not only from their male peers, but from administrative staff at institutions as well. One study shows that many woman applying for STEM related scholarships have had to be up to 2.5 times more productive than men to be considered equally competent (Barres, 386). This is again due to the gender stereotypes that have become imbedded within society. This bias also means women pursuing STEM degrees are put at a disadvantage in regards to selective processes for internships and academic clubs. By constantly having to prove themselves and repeatedly being discouraged by their environment, women studying STEM have a much harder time than men staying motivated in their courses. This of course leads to lower grades and a greater likelihood of dropping out of their programs. It is also safe to assume that creating an environment that causes women to constantly doubt themselves will have a negative impact on their academic performance; any student male or female must believe in themselves to be able to ... So, it s difficult to imagine the problems they would run into when a group of environmentalists decide to boycott a substance which is the foundation of their company. These chemicals, although very useful, cause consequences that need to be dealt with now in order to prevent further damage. Most importantly it affects quot;microscopic photoplankton quot; which rest at the bottom of the food chain, placing us in extreme danger (Goldfarb 288). Henry Lee, leading researcher on ozone depletion for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), says that UV rays will only have a slight effect on oceans, though. He says the problem lies on the fact that 70 percent of the Earth s surface is covered with water, making it a widespread problem. In addition to that, humans exposed to excess UV rays over a period of time are likely to develop some form of cancer (Singer and Crandall npg). The EPA released a report that stated if CFC s weren t controlled, in the future there will be approximately quot;40 million additional cases of non melanoma skin cancer found and 800,000 additional skin cancer deaths quot; (Singer and Crandall npg). Now that scientists know what these and other quot;culprits quot; do, they re trying to find solutions to this world wide problem. When they found these chemicals to be harmful, environmentalists didn t hesitate in taking action. They placed a boycott on the use of aerosol spray cans. The U.S. and Canada responded by banning quot;CFC powered spray cans, quot; and that, along with Europe agreeing to cut back by 35 percent, caused the rate of damage to fall drastically (Singer and Crandall npg). The Positive And Negative Influences Of Reality Shows The purpose of this source is to measure the positive and negative influences of reality television programs on preteen and adolescent girls whom age ranges from eleven to seventeen years old. In this source, many studies are conducted to observe the behavior of the adolescent girls after they watched reality shows. For example, researchers found that if adolescent girls watched cosmetic surgery reality shows, they would have higher disordered eating attitudes than others would. On the contrary, some investigators discovered cosmetic surgery reality programs could in fact bring positive influence to teenage girls by letting them to know the benefits of cosmetic surgery. Compare And Contrast Children And Adults Most people will say that the best days of your life are going to be during your youth, where you didn t have to worry about anything and had no responsibilities. When I was a young child, I remember wanting to be a grown up so bad that I got mad at my parents because they treated me like a kid. To this day, I still do not understand why kids wantto grow up and be adults so quickly. Now that I m slowly turning into an adult, I can tell that kids have it way easier than adults do. Being a child is probably the best thingthat can ever happen to you. When you re a child you have nothing to worry about. Children have responsibilities that only involve housework or school. They have to wash dishes, clean their rooms, make the bed, and take out the trash. These are called chores, and most normal kids hate doing chores. These responsibilities are mainly at home jobs, and they have more that involve schoolwork. A child is responsible for finishing class and homework when the teacher asks them to and are also held responsible to be the best kids they can be at school. Inigo Jones And The Queens House Throughout this essay I will explore to what extent Inigo Jones s design for the Queens House was inspired by the works of Palladio and Palladian architecture and 15 16th century European architectural precedents, while also exploring the role the building played on the development of Neoclassical architecture on a wider scale. The Queens House represents the stylistic point of origin for the great imposing buildings surrounding Greenwich but also for Neo Classical architecture in Britain more generally. The formative years of the designer, Inigo Jones (1573 1652) is largely unknown although its believed he trained as a joiner and received no formal architectural education. The Queens house, his first residential project gave him the chance to implement these ideas in practice. Jones career was prolific, although a lot of what he created or modified has since disappeared. Some of the buildings that remain include Banqueting Hall at Whitehall, the Queen s Chapel at St James s Palace and St Paul s Church. I think that when trying to understand the character Iago, first we need to recognize what Shakespeare s original intentions for the play were, and also the style of plays he tended to write, as they all have obvious similarities. Rather than writing about stock characters, which was common in the theater during Elizabethan times, Shakespeare wrote about people who seemed real. However in the 2013 14 financial year, (Qantas, 2014, pg.1) due to falls in revenue, growing competition and high expenses the airline reported a 2.8 billion dollar loss. (Mccrann, 2014) It was then that the company felt it required government support to assist them in getting back on their feet. Commonly referred to as a bailout and in this case more specifically a debt guarantee , this would involve the Australian Government covering Qantas debts, should the company collapse. (Mcllroy, 2014, p9) There were mixed views on this particular issue between different MP s, different political parties and against Qantas itself. After much debate on the issue however it was declared that the Government would not grant a debt guarantee to Qantas. (Coorey, 2014) This essay takes into account both sides of this debate and explains why the ultimate decision by the Government not to financially support Qantas was justified. At Preston High School, a senior portfolio is a requirement to graduate. For the portfolio, students must collect all of their accomplishments and report cards to place into a binder. Based upon research, some experts say that community service should be voluntary; however, it gets students involved in the community, allows for better schooling, and gives students a better work experience. First of all, senior portfolios only expand upon the students themselves. Community service allows students to get involved with their community. Technically, the community helps pay for schooling, so it would be nice for the students to reciprocate by contributing to their hometowns. Everyone has been to at least one funeral, and it s very sad and at times uncomfortable. The awkward interactions with people saying sorry or the feeling of seeing the ones you love be in such pain. In the poem, Mid term Break , published in 1966, Seamus Heaney touches this subject in every aspect. In Mid term Break Heaney tells the story of a young man whose brother has died and he comes home to the funeral. As the boy enters his house he sees things that are now different after the death of his brother. Heaney s words and use of poetic devices draws a picture of the sad scene. In this poem Heaney writes about a death which is typical for many of his poems. James Persoon, a writer for The Facts On File Companion to British Poetry, 1900 to Present, writes that Heaney here draws on his own experience in having an adolescent speaker reflect on the death of his four year old brother, for the poet s brother, Christopher, was killed in a car accident at age four in 1953. (Persoon). Not only can one see that Heaney s emotions were put into this poem but also his own life experiences. Losing a family member is hard enough, and it is even harder when that person is young because no one will ever know the full potential that person could have had if they had not died. Potential For Victoria s Dairy Industry Potential for Victoria s Dairy Industry to Move towards a Partial Mixed Ration Feeding System Jasmine Hasluck Feed is a major cost in the production of milk so it is important for Victorian dairy farmers to consider which feeding strategy is going to be the most efficient in generating high profit and productivity. We can broadly group dairy feeding strategies into 5 systems (Little, S 2010). System 1 is pasture based with other forages and up to 1 tonne of grain or concentrates fed in bail. System 2 is pasture based with other forages and more than 1 tonne of grain or concentrate fed in bail. It requires minimal capital and infrastructure by allowing cattle to graze pasture. However this system has become less efficient as Victorian dairy farms have become more intense and climatic conditions and milk prices are volatile. Since the price of milk became deregulated in 2000 there was a push for Australian dairy farms to become more productive to remain competitive with international dairy industries (Edwards, G 2003). This led to increases in stocking density and ultimately put pressure on pasture supply. Rainfall is a limiting factor on pasture growth and year to year variability in rainfall has had a huge negative effect on Victorian dairy farmers. In 2009/10 Victoria was faced with severe droughts, which showed a fall in milk production of over 340 million litres (Dairy Australia, 2015). During an extended period of low rainfall the quantity and quality of pasture is limited, which means pasture based farms are forced to buy in supplementary feed and/or irrigation water to satisfy the feed requirements of dairy cattle. Climatic variability poses a high risk in this system, which has led to farmers to start considering other feeding options such as a partial mixed ration which might alleviate this risk. Figure 1. John Searle argued that the Turing Test is simply just imitating, rather than thinking. Based on Searle s argument against the Turing Test, I think that computers cannot have minds. Although Turing argues that computers can think, there are many arguments, such as Searle s Chinese room argument, and defenses that I will present that support Searle and his belief that computers do not understand the information they simulate and cannot think. As stated above, the purpose of the Turing Machine is to prove that computers can think. A Turing Machine is composed of a scanner with a tape made of paper running through it. This paper tape is divided into squares. Each square on the tape contains a symbol, either a 0 of a 1. The machine, along with two humans, will participate in an imitation game. Human A and the Turing Machine are hidden from view of Human B and have a conversation in order for Human B to try to determine which of the communicators is a robot, if either one is a robot. The machine s goal is to trick Human B into thinking it (the machine) is the human. Turing states that if the machine is successful, then the machine does have a mind. On the flip side of this the negative effects can be caused by revenge, distrust, or anger (Hall, 2016, p.123) . One of the first experiences that people have with empathyfrequently appears as a baby when we hear another infant cry (Szalavitz, 2010). Babbitt is experiencing the social stress from conforming to appear the best possible husband and father he can be. George is out of lovewith his wife. Wiki describes Devops as a practice that emphasizes the collaboration and communication of the IT professionals across the value chain while automating the process of software delivery and infrastructure changes. The aim is to deliver the software quickly and reliably. However, in an enterprise scenario with the complexity involved, the journey to implement DevOps comprehensively is evolutionary. • 42. The Process of DNA Replication Essay The Process of DNA Replication The process of DNA replication plays a crucial role in providing genetic continuity from one generation to the next. Knowledge of the structure of DNA began with the discovery of nucleic acids in 1869. In 1952, an accurate model of the DNA molecule was presented, thanks to the work of Rosalind Franklin, James Watson, and Francis Crick. To reproduce, a cell must copy and transmit its genetic information (DNA) to all of its progeny. To do so, DNA replicates following the process of semi conservative replication. Two strands of DNA are obtained from one, having produced two daughter molecules that are identical to one another and to the parent molecule. This essay reviews the three stages ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Moreover, there are many enzymes that participate in the unwinding of the old strands of DNA molecule such as topoisomerase. This enzyme is responsible for initiation of the unwinding of the old strands of DNA molecule. Once supercoiling has been eliminated by the topoisomerase, helicase accomplishes unwinding of the original double strand. In order to aid with the unwinding process, DNA gyrase catalyzes the formation of negative supercoils. The unwound helix, with each strand being synthesized into a new double helix, is called the replication fork. The second stage of the process is complementary base pairing. In this stage, new complementary nucleotides are positioned following the rules of complementary base pairing: adenine (A) to thymine (T) and guanine (G) to cytosine (C). Then, the binding of free nucleotide with complementary bases is catalyzed by DNA polymerase. The last stage of the process, joining, involves bonding of complementary nucleotide to each other so as to form new strands. The nucleotides are joined to one another by hydrogen bonds to form a new DNA molecule. This joining continues until a new polynucleotide chain has been formed alongside the old one, forming a new double helix molecule. This stage of the process also takes place with the assistance of enzymes. The DNA polymerase links the complementary nucleotides ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Bernard Williams Psychological Continuity If on Tuesday, I suffer an accident and lose all of my memory, it is probable that my family and friends will still love and care for me, creating an impression that I am indeed the same person I once was. These conditions imply the theses of animalism and bodily continuity when it comes to personal identity. However, is this human habit enough to discard the idea that it is psychological continuity that sustains identity? Whilst many may argue that it would be against our intuition to say that I am no longer the same person, I do not believe that this is caused by our intuition, but instead a societal construct that s sole purpose is to make the trauma of the accident and loss easier to deal with. By using this premise and upholding the psychological... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Bernard Williams, initially illustrates psychological continuity in his paper The Self and the Future with the example that if one was to undergo a brain transplant, your memories and other mental features, the resulting person would be convinced that he or she was you . Williams describes how persons A and B are changing bodies, then A chooses that the B body person should get the pleasant treatment and the A body person the unpleasant treatment . Through Williams phrasing this notion seems like the intuitive choice to pick, given that if we are switching bodies, then (if I am A), I assume that I am now inhabiting the B body person. Using this premise, it seems clear that I am only what stems from my memories, thus I am identified by my psychological continuity; on the surface, this seems difficult to contest. However, Williams, goes on to illustrate how in the premise of this argument there is an assumption. Williams defines the thought experiment again, but depersonalises person B, and instead claims that changes in his character are produced, and at the same time certain illusory memory beliefs are induced in him; this is essentially the same process as what happen in the first instance, however, Williams refrains from referring to what happens to the second person. Consequently, person A does not wish for the A body person to be tortured, even though given the conclusion form the first example this body now contains a different person. Given person A s emotive response, it would perhaps appear that, despite the lack of psychological continuity, the A body person may in fact still be person A; therefore, psychological continuity may not be an appropriate way to claim someone is the same person. Nevertheless, can we genuinely claim that this emotive response can create a genuine criticism for this psychological continuity, therefore ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
