Simon Farrah Abraham Character Analysis
Simon Saran is a forced to be reckoned with. His on again off again relationship with Farrah
Abraham has been documented through Teen Mom OG. The two are apparently off at the
moment, though that doesn t mean there isn t a reconciliation possible. Because Saran has been
a huge part of the MTV franchise, the show offered him his own special. This is a big deal
because the ones who have been offered the same have all been married to or have had children
with the star they were attached to while filming. Being Simon is set to air this coming
Wednesday on MTV. It will be an hour long special featuring Simon Saran in his everyday life. He
confirmed this was coming back in June, but Farrah Abraham shaded him when he mentioned it.
The two have been hot and cold for several months now. Saran is a businessman, and now,
Abraham is back to selling sex.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to Starcasm, Simon Saran and Courtland Rogers got into an insult match where one
went a little too far. Everyone knows that Twitter is the place where anything goes. Racial
comments, insults, and everything else can be seen on the platform with no enforcing of
etiquette. Saran was going off about Donald Trump being blamed for the Las Vegas massacre, and
Rogers decided to have his say with him. It appears that since Jenelle Evans no longer wants
anything to do with Courtland, he is really trying to stay relevant. Both men reverted to heavy
insults, with Courtland Rogers insinuating that Simon Saran was a terrorist with a tweet about
hijacking a plane. Of course, Simon wasn t innocent in the debate, but Courtland really went the
whole nine yards with his comments. There is a streak of jealousy there. Being Simon is airing
this upcoming week and since Rogers no longer has any connection to the show, there may be a
little bitterness. The two exchanged a few more tweets and that was

How Did Benjamin Franklin Contribute To The Discovery Of...
One of the most important discoveries made in science was the invention of electricity. Can you
imagine going through a day without the use of electricity? The discovery of electricity had
changed how this planet functions .Electricity was first discovered around 600 B.C by the ancient
Greece by rubbing amber and fur to create static electricity. A lot of people contributed to the
discover of electricity including William Gilbert, Benjamin Franklin, and many more. Benjamin
Franklin conducted an experiment to show that lighting was electricity. He experimented with a
kite, key, and a storm in which he proved that lightening are tiny electric sparks. Electricity is used

Nextgen
What is NextGen? NextGen is not just one particular project or aspect. Instead, it is a wide range
of changes improvements, and implementations created by the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) and its partners that are designed to improve and make air travel more efficient and safer
today and in the years to come. NextGen has the ability to save air carriers money by reducing fuel
costs via shortened and more direct routes.
NextGen is the overall modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) that provides
benefits to the air carrier and to the consumers/passengers in that it allows for flights to depart on
time, arrive on time (or ahead of schedule), decreases the EPA emissions, thus helping to save the
environment, and allows ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Instead of multiple systems talking to one another, all systems will interface with SWIM, which

Comparing The Scion And Cadillac Car
Cadillacs are another vehicle that is marketed based on the age of potential consumers. Cadillac
has a reputation of being associated with the older buyer whereas the Toyota Scion appeals to the
younger. These are the similarities and differences between the 2016 Cadillac ATS Coupe vs. 2016
Scion TC.
Marketing for the Scion and Cadillac is similar by adding addons to the car. With a purchase of a
new car, you are able to add specific features that do not come with the car. Both the Scion and
Cadillac appeal to a specific lifestyle and like to arrive in fashion at social gathering or party
(Solomon, 2011).
Some of how the marketing is different is the age ranges. Where the Cadillac is targeted towards
the older customer averaging 60 years

Essay on Vietnam
Weapons of the Vietnam War
In late 1961, America took physical force in the Vietnam War. War is a complex series of
political events that leads to physical involvement in the form of armed combat. Technology is a
major deciding factor in war, along with the battle tactics used, terrain, experience and
professionalism of the opposing forces. By 1961 both the United States and Vietnam had
developed a broad array of guns and weapons to fight off one another. Coupled with battle tactics
this provides a deadly and extremely hostile environment. In the beginning of the war the weapon
of choice for the support troops was the M1 Carbine. The carbine was half the weight and held a
less powerful cartridge than its brother, the M1 Garand. They ... Show more content on

The M 16 is infamous for its accuracy on the battlefield especially at longer ranges. Both assault
rifles share the same 5.56mm projectiles, which provides significant stopping power. The M 203
grenade launcher was a muzzle loaded grenade that fit under the barrel of assault rifles such as
the M 16. The 40mm grenade was used to provide additional fire support in a gunfight. The high
explosive had a range of 400m and a blast radius of 5m. Before the M 203, infantry used a
weapon called the M 79 grenade launcher. Which largely resembled a sawn off shotgun. The M
79 was designed to take up the gap between maximum hand grenade distance, and minimum
mortar fire distance. It could fire an array of projectiles which included darts, buck shots, smoke,
gas and flares. The M 79 was ideal in Vietnam terrain. Although the M 16 was very easy to use in
the field, some of the U.S. Armies Special Forces used a gun very similar to the M 16. The XM
177E2 or more commonly the colt commando or the CAR 15, had telescoping stock for easy
handling and could be used more like an SMG instead of an assault rifle which made the CAR 15 a
great choice for combat situations where fighting would be extremely close. Although it was
popular with Special Forces the CAR 15 saw very limited use with normal battalion units.
Infantry used the M 67 recoilless rifle to destroy bunkers. It was a breach loaded single shot rifle

Nozick s The Examined Life
Harsimran Natt
Philosophy 1 Final
Prompt #1
Value and Meaning Nozick had clear definitions of value and meaning in The Examined Life that
can be applied to anyone s life. According to Nozick, meaning involves a connection to something
beyond internal boundaries , or values. He also says values possess an internal unified coherence,
which are split into two categories: instrumental and intrinsic. According to his definition, there is
only certain aspects of life that have meaning and value and there could be changes made to life to
make it have more value and meaning. Nozick s definition leads us to see that meaning depends on
value. There are two types of value, as stated before. The first type is instrumental value, which is
when something ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I have already connected my family, religion, and education to happiness. The more I connect to
intrinsically valuable things, the more meaning my life will have. Most people connect the meaning
of life to things such as family and friends which add instrumental and intrinsic values to a
person s life. The same applies for me, my life has meaning because I relate it to things that I
value. The more I connect with valuable things, the more meaning my life will have. In the
future, my career will add more value to my life. I will be doing something that I love, and that
gives me happiness, for most of my day. It will also give me financial stability in the future, which
will be important. My career and financial stability will allow me to take care of the people that I
love (such as for example, taking care of health of my parents as they get older). As I will get older,
I will be able to give back to my parents, which will give me the greatest happiness in the world.
The happier my family and people I care about are, the more valuable and meaningful my life will

Similarities Between Brom Bones And The Headless Horseman...
Similarities between Brom Bones and the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow
Introduction
Washington Irving is the author of the tale The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, that was written in the
nineteenth century (Baym 25). Irving was born in New York City on April 3rd, 1783 and was the
last of eleven children. At home, Irving read a wide range of English literature and delighted in
many other writers, including Shakespeare, Oliver Goldsmith, and Laurence Sterne. In 1830
Irving bought and began refurbishing a house along the Hudson River near Tarrytown (Baym 25).
The beginning of Irving s tale opens up with the description of the charming Hudson Valley region
of Sleepy Hollow near Tarrytown. The Legend of Sleepy Hollowrepresents a popular tale in Irving
s book The Sketch Book. It s ghostly tale that talks about a mysterious Headless Horseman that is
said to be a Hessian trooper who lost his head in battle. It is said that every night, the Headless
Horseman roams the countryside in search of his head. There is an unlikely hero in this tale named
Ichabod Crane, but to the people of Sleepy Hollow the real hero is Brom Bones.
Article Analysis
There is nothing like the tale The Legend of Sleepy Hollow with its interpretations and meanings
that span far and wide. Couser Thomas had his own theory about this tale. This critical article

Flowers are thousands of different varieties and not many people ever wonder what makes the
flowers more exquisite or what process relation the flower has with the pollinator. In the Southern
region of Texas there s nothing but cactus; sometimes on the cactus you can see some pink, red,
orange, and yellow blooming on the cactus! First time people see that, it s a little shocking because
how would an organism feed off it, when there are thorns connected to the cactus. Lucky for the
cactus there are many different organisms who are attracted to them due to the complementary
colors and them pollinating for the Prickly Pear cactus but there is a special one, the south texas

In order for the attraction of color to happen they will usually have solid colors or a pattern with
ultraviolet shades, because the hummingbirds can see a greater color spectrum compared to
humans. The most popular hummingbird flowers often have a funnel like shape that helps nectar
being consumed. Thin flower tubes can be ruined by some insects and animals because they don t
have the long hummingbirds bill or how thin it is. Everyone would think any organisms would be
attracted to flowers that have a strong scent, but hummingbirds aren t attracted to strong scents.
The hummingbirds are attracted to flowers with a light scent and not a very strong odor because
it attracts too many insects and other organisms. The bird loves if the position of the flower is
more out and the wings aren t grazing against the needles of the cactus. The birds also take
advantage of the blooming time because in the morning the plants open up more and a much

Essay on Clinical Practice Have Been Revolutionised by PCR
Summary: Two decades after its discovery PCR have completely changed clinical practice. PCR
is a gold standard method for detecting and identifying pathogen. By observing viral load it allows
to predict disease progression and therefore design a better treatment. It is allowing non invasive
prenatal diagnosis of many genetic defects. There are few limitations however at the rate PCR is
advancing, no doubt in future whole clinical practice will be dependent on PCR.
Background: Polymerase Chain reaction (PCR) is an in vitro process that enables exponential
amplification of the define target DNA sequence. The process involves three steps: denaturation,
annealing and elongation. In the first step, the reaction mixture containing target ... Show more

is to discuss how PCR have revolutionised clinical practice.
Method: PubMed Central (The U.S. National Institution of Health) has been used predominantly as
a source of primary literature. Some secondary literature has been used for definitions and to
advance the understanding the methods of PCR. Search engine also have been used throughout the
essay for other journal and websites.
Discussion: Prenatal diagnosis of sickle cell anaemia is one of the applications of PCR with high
sensitivity and specificity. Before the advancement of PCR, it used to take several weeks to
perform hybridization with a probe by using southern blot but now this is done within 24 hours.(3)
PCR also can be employed for the prenatal diagnosis of ОІ thalassemia , phenylketouria,
haemophilia and cystic fibrosis.
The existence of foetal DNA in maternal plasma was first discovered in 1997 which provided the
opportunity to develop a non invasive method to detect foetal genetic abnormality. It have been

The Golden Age Of Sports In The Great Gatsby
The Golden Age of Sports
Sports brings out one s talents and achievement. However, sports can be a great way to just have
fun. During the world war one, many people have been unhappy. When the roaring twenties entered
their lives, they all started to have fun. The Golden Age of sports helped people develop their
interest in sports, recognize many sport stars and help develop women involvement in sports. The
media including, the news and radio, helped sports to get exposed. Since the United States had a
strong economy, people could afford to watch games during that time period, (Jeff A.L, Sports in
1920 s, Roaring Twenties). Massive sports stadiums were built such as the Yankee Stadium and
Madison Square Garden. Everyone started enjoying baseball. ... Show more content on

The sports in the 1920 s had a significant connection to the novel, The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott
Fitzgerald. This novel, is about how one s happiness comes from their dream. In The Great
Gatsby, Jordan Baker and Meyer Wolfsheim both have contributed to the sports Era. Jordan
Baker is a wealthy, female athlete, who is also friends with Tom and Daisy. In the novel, Jordan
was a well known golf champion. This connects to women s involvement in the sports. Before
this time period, women did not contribute much to the era as, it was not ladylike to jump, sweat
or play, (Jeff A.L, Sports in 1920 s, Roaring Twenties). However, the talents of women were
eventually recognized later in the era. In the novel, Jordan Baker also becomes a well known
female athlete. Achievement also helps with women status in a society. After achieving, an
individual becomes well recognized. For an example, Nick says in the story, For a while I lost
sight of Jordan Baker, and then in midsummer I found her again. At first I was flattered to go
places with her, because she was a golf champion, and everyone knew her name , (Fitzgerald, 106).
This shows how eventually, after a women achieves in something, she will also have a better
reputation in a society. Secondly, Meyer Wolfsheim was an allusion to Arnold Rothstein. When
Gatsby tells Nick about Mr. Wolfsheim, he mentions, He s a gambler.

Why Do Myths Exist
Myths like the loch ness monster and Bigfoot were big stories but no real proven evidence of
their existence. Many investigations were made and a lot of so called evidence to prove that
such myth exist. But there is one thing that most myths don t have and that s government
officials getting involved. If a myth is that serious in order to involve the government, it s got to
be a pretty big myth. Similarly aliens were really never proven to exist until the summer of 1947
on a small ranch outside of Roswell, New Mexico (History pg.1).a Man by the name of Mac

life subpar to truly living. Consequently, this rule applies to humans as well, and unfortunately
enough, most humans in our era fail to live. In the poem Sympathy by Paul Laurence Dunbar,
Dunbar seeks to explore this sullen connection with the speaker and a caged animal feels by
utilizing repetition and metaphor.
The first stanza begins with the primary metaphor of the caged bird. In this line, the speaker states
that he knows what the caged bird feels (line 1). Under the assumption that the speaker, like most
people, cannot speak to animals, his understanding of the bird s feelings must come from inference
from observation. Dunbar goes onto depict a beautiful landscape of the birds natural habitat.
However, the feelings of the depiction are clearly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The bird s mania manifests in vain attempts on breaking the bars of his cage with his body.
Beating its body against the bars until he bleeds red, (line 9) the bird would almost prefer death
to this life if it were not for the vague prospect of release. Towards the end of the stanza, the tale
of the caged bird thickens as his old scars... pulse... with a keener sting (line 12 13). This line
shows that the bird is not simply trying to fly away without understanding the limits of the change,
the bird seems to represent the spirit of a stallion rejecting the enforced domestication of its captors.
The last stanza summarizes the predicament of the cage bird, and the odd act which the caged
bird commits, the caged bird sings (line 15). However, singing often represents joy Dunbar
clarifies that this singing is in prayer. After beating himself against the bars he resigns his broken
body to sing and pray for success, reaching to a higher power for

Economic Globalization And The Global Economy
Since the development of the Internet and other communication sharing technology, the push for
free trade agreements, and the sustaining of a prolonged period of international peace, globalization
has rapidly taken over political discourse and dealings. The emphasis, in recent decades, has been
towards economic globalizationwith the push for international stock exchanges, and the
development of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, and the World Trade
Organization(WTO). Economic globalization is the development of an interdependent and
integrated global economy of independent nation s economies. It occurs through the development
of cross border movement of technology, capital, labour, services, and products. Economic
globalization is a product of neo liberal capitalist market values. The capitalist global economy has
lead to an apparent improved global market however the burden of the economic nature of
globalization has developed into a dilemma of environmental and ecological destruction. Economic
globalization has increased consumption and consumerism, continued the domination of neo
colonialism through eco imperialism, and dictated the discourse surrounding international
environmental protocol and treaties.
Economic globalization has rapidly increased world consumption and consumer patterns. With
these increases comes the development of more landfills to sustain increased waste, increased
transportation of goods and services, and the increased

Charles Bukowski Research Paper
Charles Bukowski grew up in the era of the Great Depression where money was scarce for many
average American families. His father did not have a stable job and was thus, deprived of his
masculinity. To revive this lost virility, Bukowski was abused physically and mentally by his
father for much of his childhood, and when he started to face many struggles of a teenager, such
as acne, he began to question whether he was worthy of being loved or worthy of anything at all.
These strong emotions lead him to write very passionate novels detailing his experiences growing
up. Because of his difficult childhood, the content in his novels are typically cynical and
pessimistic. This is common for the Postmodern Cynicism books in which Bukowski s novels...

Society has always put physical attractiveness above all other characteristic. Ham on Rye displays
this when Henry pulls himself out of school for how he looks and when Henry gets bullied for
what he wore. Humankind has imposed so many societal standards to the point where, Severe
depression from acne has resulted in attempted suicide and, unfortunately, successful suicide.
Worrying statements include: I m worthless, (Collier and Oakley). Acne is a very common
condition that occurs in most teens during puberty due to the improper regulation of hormones
throughout the body. However, society has taught teenagers that it is unattractive and shameful.
This causes teens to question their life and in some cases, end it. Though Henry did not attempt
suicide, he believed that he was worthless and had no self worth. Though acne did play a large
role in shaping Henry s adult life, the development of his character began with his father s abusive
behavior. In psychological studies published by the Huffington Post it was found that, abuse was
most strongly associated with depression, general anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder,
attachment problems and substance abuse, (LaBier). Henry (and Bukowski) exhibit these behaviors
when his father was abusing him and when his mother stood off to the side. His mother

The Impeachment of President Bill Clinton
The Impeachment of President Bill Clinton The impeachment of President Clinton is something
that will be remembered forever. Along with the fact that a presidential impeachment has only
happened one other time since the Civil War, the publicity that came with the Clinton trial was
extensive (Miller 2004). While the Republican and Democratic members of the House of
Representatives had vastly different views on impeaching President Clinton, the fact that only five
Democratic Representatives voted to impeach him truly shows how wide that gap was between
the two parties. Clinton was impeached on the grounds of perjury to a grand jury and obstruction
of justice, with the vote on both articles extremely close, a 228 206 vote on perjury to a... Show

Whatever the merits of that argument, such action is clearly unnecessary. There is no need or
justification for us to take this important action in such haste (Rothenberg and Sanders 2000). In
another case, Democrat Rush Holt defeated Republican Michael Pappas in the 1998 contest of
New Jersey s 12th Congressional District, but Pappas still cast his vote on the impeachment. Holt
believed that Pappas should withdraw his impeachment vote because it s a matter of historic
significance and he doesn t have to answer to anybody (Rothenberg and Sanders 2000). Against
Holt s and many others views, Pappas, along with the other thirty nine representatives in their final
term, participated in the impeachment trial while facing no electoral accountability (Rothenberg
and Sanders 2000). While the Democrats still could have received some votes from the departing
Republican representatives, the chances that enough Republican representatives would vote non
guilty to create a Democratic majority were very slim. In the 105th Congress, the House of
Representatives consisted of 227 members from the Republican Party, 207 members from the
Democratic Party, and one member who was Independent but sided with the Democrats
(Congressional Pictorial Directory). With the fifty two percent Republican majority, as long as all
227 Republicans voted for the counts of impeaching Clinton, no Democratic votes would be
needed. This proved to be the

Henry Vi Part 1 Downfall
While Shakespeare is often regarded as one of the most successful playwrights of history, even the
greats have their downfalls. Henry the VI Part 1 has been viewed with less esteem than
Shakespeare s other plays, but this does not mean it is not sprinkled with phenomenal characters
and other elements unique to Shakespeare. Specifically, Shakespeare s Joan of Pucelle, or Joan of
Arc, was considered one of Shakespeare s strongest female characters written. Henry VI part 1is a
play often forgotten, abridged, and ridiculed, but despite its shaky performance history and low
regard as a play, it still sits on the book shelves of many a Shakespeare lover and is performed,
however slim those performances may be. Throughout time the play has been performed,... Show

two mediocre performances and forgotten films before that. James Cooray Smith wrote a piece
criticizing the play and it s many downfalls. The play, obviously not one Shakespeare s best, was
not performed after Shakespeare s death till the 1700 s. Henry VI Part 1 is the least performed of
all the history plays and is one of the least performed Shakespeare plays in general. In fact, it was
so rarely performed that it was not even possible for one person to have seen the play twice in

critical scenes are added to Henry VI Part 2. The play adds very little to the Henry VI series so
few give it much thought. More likely than not the play is looked on as a poorly written prequel
which was unlikely even written by Shakespeare

Butterfly Essay
Butterflies fill an important role in ecosystems. The order Lepidoptera, which includes moths as
well as butterflies, when present in high numbers they indicate a healthy ecosystem with a wide
range of invertebrates. They are a natural pest control and pollinator species, contributing to
success of other invertebrates. As well as playing a role in food webs. There are 320 species present
in Europe, at least 112 are endemic. There are four stages in the butterflylife cycle from egg
(ovum), to caterpillar (larva), to chrysalis (pupa) and butterfly (imago), each stage undergoing a
complete stage of metamorphosis (Higgins Riley, 1970).
Known as the most colourful order in the class Insecta, butterflies and moths vary in size with two
large colourful scaled wings, the scales hold the colour pigment giving them the name Lepidoptera
(Higgins Riley, 1970). The head, body and legs are also usually scaled. They have sucking
mouthparts, mandibles which are usually versidual and coupled maxillae which form a tubular
sucking proboscis which is coiled (peculiar to Lepidoptera) (Higgins Riley, 1970). Their
exoskeleton is made of chitin, with muscles attached on the inside, the exoskeleton providing
protection. They have two compound eyes and a thorax which is divided into three segments,
each with a pair of legs and the second and third also with a pair of wings (Brusca Brusca, 2003).

Rear Window Gender Stereotypes
Alfred Hitchcock s 1954 movie Rear Window captivates the audience by presenting a thrilling
murder mystery, where Jeff Jefferies, the masculine hero, is confined to a wheel chair in his
apartment, which leads to the spying on his neighbors. In the movie, Hitchcock beautifully
captures the turn of events from Jeff s wrongful surveillance of his neighbors, to catching the killer.
His examination of the idea of surveillance and privacy, plays into the current American debate of
the rise of the surveillance debate. Hitchcock s movie also falls into a traditional pattern where men
are the active dominant roles and women are the submissive, background roles. Consequently, I

These differences are not highlighted during the movie. However, they remain key in our
understanding of how each gender understands and plays a role in the rise of surveillance debate.
One major factor of why there is such a heavily male presence in the surveillance the debate, is
the idea the men are able to think quick on their feet and remain calm. This can be seen when Jeff
was not visibly distraught as the killer was approaching him. This increases the societal stigma that
men are able to remain calm, in a time of stress, or danger, and come up with solutions, whereas

Importance of Fear in The Lord of the Flies Essay
Importance of Fear in The Lord of the Flies
The boys in the book, The Lord of the Flies, are controlled by their fear of the beast. This fear is
not of the beast itself, but of the unknown. It comes from not knowing whether or not a beast exists.
The children start as one united group. They are a community in their own. Slowly, rules started to
get broken, individuals began to leave, and the group broke apart. The one thing that causes this
break up is the beast. The beast means different things to everyone, but each boy is afraid of it.
All of this fear starts at one of the very first assemblies when a littlun says that he saw a beastie in
the forest. Now he says it was a beastie ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Remember?
The two older boys flinched when they heard the shameful
syllable (52).
This reminds Jack and Ralph that there is a chance that the beast is real and there may be reason
for all the fear. It also reveals that Simon s character is very much in touch with reality. He is not
trying to push the fact that a beast could be on the island away from him. He is trying to deal with
his fear and show the others that they can and should deal with theirs.
Ralph s concern for the littluns leads him to call an assembly to decide on fear (82). This
assembly on fear is an essential part of the story. Ralph wants to discuss the fear of the beastie, and
whether there is reason to be afraid of a beast that may not exist. He then proceeds to make this
speech:
We ve got to talk about this fear and decide there s nothing in it. I m frightened myself, sometimes;
only that s nonsense! Like bogies. Then, when we ve decided, we can start again and be careful
about things like the fire (82).
The purpose of this speech is to comfort the other boys and eliminate the fear. He wants them to
turn their focus away from fear towards the fire and rescue.
After Ralph puts the conch down Jack snatches it up and starts blaming the littluns for all the fear,
saying that they brought it upon themselves by believing in the beast. Jack is angry about the

How Is Heathcliff Presented In Wuthering Heights
In Wuthering Heights, Emily Bronte s sister, Charlotte Bronte described Heathcliff as a man s
shape animated by demon life a ghoul . Bronte is at her best when she is describing him, and his
looks garner a lot of attention from her and other characters. In Heathcliff s life, his youthful love
for Catherine Earnshawis better than his final years of vengeance. Heathcliff, who is one of the
main characters, is presented in many forms in the novel. He is portrayed as a man who loves
Catherine, homeless, and vengeful. He is also described as evil because he was treated badly in his
youth and Catherine didn t choose him as her husband, she chose Edgar Linton.

After the speech between Catherine and Nelly Dean, Heathcliff left the house because he heard
Catherine would not choose to marry him. When he returned, he is a different man, not the

felt so bad about what she said. Catherine and Nelly Dean thought that Heathcliff was in the
stable, but he was not. You love Edgar because he is handsome, and young, and cheerful, and
rich, and love you (Bronte, 57). Catherine loves Edgar because of many things he was, but if he

Heathcliff. My love for Linton is like the foliage in the woods. Time will change it, I m well

The World Economy Faced Its Most Dangerous Crisis Since...
In 2008 the world economy faced its most dangerous crisis since the Great Depression of the
1930s. The contagion, which began in 2007 when sky high home prices in the United States
finally turned decisively downward, spread quickly, first to the entire U.S. financial sector and
then to financial markets overseas. The casualties in the United States included a) the entire
investment banking industry, b) the biggest insurance company, c) the two enterprises chartered
by the government to facilitate mortgage lending, d) the largest mortgage lender, e) the largest
savings and loan, and f) two of the largest commercial banks. The carnage was not limited to the
financial sector, however, as companies that normally rely on credit suffered heavily. The
American auto industry, which pleaded for a federal bailout, found itself at the edge of an abyss.
Still more ominously, banks, trusting no one to pay them back, simply stopped making the loans
that most businesses need to regulate their cash flows and without which they cannot do business.
Share prices plunged throughout the world the Dow Jones Industrial Average in the U.S. lost
33.8% of its value in 2008 and by the end of the year, a deep recession had enveloped most of the
globe. In December the National Bureau of Economic Research, the private group recognized as
the official arbiter of such things, determined that a recession had begun in the United States in

James Weldon Johnson My City Essay
The sonnet poem, My City, by James Weldon Johnson is about how a man is so in love with his
city, Manhattan that he doesn t want to die and never be able to see it again. This poem shows the
emotion connection he shares with his city. The mood, tone, theme, imagery, repetition, and
personification in the poem will help you to understand it better. If it weren t for these details, you
wouldn t quite understand this piece as well, since there would be many ways to interpret it. The
speaker gives a personal statement in this piece of poetry. He asks what his greatest loss would be
once he dies, and he answers it in detail. You will see the poet s love for Manhattan, and see how
beautiful his emotional connection is with it.

The poet talks about all the things that he won t miss after death, which is nature. He uses
imagery to express it. Johnson (1923) writes, Will it be that no more I shall see the trees/ Or
smell the flowers or hear the singing birds/ Or watch the flashing streams or patient herds? (p.
677). He gets you to imagine nature and its beauty, and then writes, No, I am sure it will be none
of these. (Johnson, 1923, p. 677). Now that you know it s not nature that he will miss the most, he
continues to talk about his city, Manhattan, and that it would be the thing he would miss the most.
The poet then uses personification and repetition to explain what he loves about his city. Johnson
(1923) writes, But ah! Manhattan s sights and sounds, her smells,/ Her crowds, her throbbing
force, the thrill that comes/ From being of her a part, her subtle spells,/ Her shining towers, her
avenues, her slums (p. 677). The personification here clearly shows the emotional connection he
shares with his city. The fact that he refers to his city as a her just shows how much he loves
Manhattan. Also, as you can see, there is a repetition of the word her, which creates excitement in
the tone of the poem. It changes the mood entirely and the fact that the poet constantly refers to his
city as a her, and not an it just shows how much love he has for Manhattan. The

Social Expectations In The Falling Woman
Society s Control Over Individuals
Beauty is determined by society and their standards. Women are expected to be skinny, pretty and
a size two which puts a lot of pressure on women. The pressures of society persuade women to go
through extreme measures to fit in with society standards. This is evident in the short story The
Falling girl and They re Not Your Husband as the main characters are impacted by social
expectations, insecurity and peer pressure.
Social expectations is a significant component in people s lives, to the point where people
become obsessive over materialistic aspects in life. These expectations creates normality for
individuals and essentially tell individuals how they should behave. There are different social
expectations that are induced for the upper class and the lower class, otherwise known as social
status. The two protagonist Marta from The Falling Girl and Earl from They re Not Your
Husband undergo challenges that they face regarding social expectations and social status,
which in turn shows the similarities between the two short stories. Marta was identified as
someone of lower class, she had dreams and ambitions of being a part of an elite society. Despite
all her aspirations in life, she knew that she would never obtain this lifestyle, which ultimately
lead downfall as she wanted to be a part of society. Marta from The Falling Girl was influenced by

Safety Management Systems SMS
Safety Management System (SMS) is a term used to refer to a comprehensive business management
system designed to manage occupational safety and health elements in the workplace.[2]
A Safety Management System provides a systematic way to identify hazards and control risks
while maintaining assurance that these risk controls are effective.[3] SMS can be defined as:
a businesslike approach to safety. It is a systematic, explicit and comprehensive process for
managing safety risks. As with all management systems, a safety management system provides for
goal setting, planning, and measuring performance. A safety management system is woven into the
fabric of an organization. It becomes part of the culture, the way people do their jobs .[4]
There are three imperatives for adopting a safety management system for a business these are
ethical, legal and financial. There is an implied moral obligation placed on an employer to ensure
that work activities and the place of work to be safe, there are legislative requirements defined in
just about every jurisdiction on how this is to be achieved and there is a substantial

Many opportunities for Kudler Fine Foods come with going public with an IPO. A considerably
greater amount of capital comes from the issuing of shares for trading on the stock market. It
helps increase the amount of business taking place if Kudler Fine Foods were to become a
publicly traded company. Public firms tend to enjoy a higher profile than their privately held
counterparts. This may make it easier to make sales and attract vendors to supply goods and
services to the firm (Keown, et. al., 2005, p. 413). This growth would be to the degree that the
current management infrastructure could not handle at this time. There would need to be some
widespread foundational changes for Kudler to have this opportunity to issue stocks. The company
knows the current stockholders, the value of the employees, and the company s customers.
Kathy Kudler is not concerned with working by another organization in the same industry. Even
though there are competitors, they are not as abundant in the California areas where her

Treatment From Expert Opinions And Case Reports
TREATMENT LEVEL OF EVIDENCE 5 Most of the information we have about PDAP treatment
comes from expert opinions and case reports. Few authors proposed treatment flow charts, based on
the moderate evidence that PDAP represents a neuropathic pain condition. However, these
treatment approaches have never been tested through an experimental study in a PDAP population.
Baad Hansen et al., in a literature review published in 2008, proposed the following stepped
treatment: start with patient education about their condition as it is necessary to avoid further
unnecessary treatments. Treat initially with topical medications (authors suggest capsaicin or
lidocaine) because of limited side effects and safer profile. If paindoes not resolve,... Show more

From our clinical expertise, we discourage the use of opioids, for the potential risk of opioid
induced hyperalgesia (64), dependency and possible addiction (65). Nixdorf et al., suggest to
follow the NICE guidelines (National Institute of Health Care and Excellence) for the treatment
of peripheral neuropathic pain: oral medications, topical when practical and avoid irreversible
treatments that involve local injury (29). We also found treatment suggestions that still need to
be tested in PDAP patients to reach a higher level of evidence. Several authors agree that it is
necessary to avoid unnecessary treatments as they do not have positive outcomes and they may
even worsen the pain (38) (44) (58). Invasive treatments create higher stress to an already
dysfunctional nervous system and this has been observed to increase pain in PDAP patients (66).
Ram et al., report that in their clinical practice they test patients for local anesthetic response in
order to decide for a more central or peripheral therapy (3). This approach can be promising and it
is supported by evidence in the literature of different levels of central and peripheral sensitization in
different patients (34) (37). However, it needs to be tested before arguing its effectiveness. Baad
Hansen et al., point out that the treatment strategy should be flexible, taking into account

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The rationale of this report is to write a Marketing Plan for an existing company in the UK (BSkyB
Sky), selected from any industry (telecommunication industry). This plan is aimed at identifying
ways in which the firm designs its strategy for the next 5 years.
BSkyB (Sky) should target acquiring 30% of the yearly revenue by 2018, after five years of
systematic implementation of the extended marketing plan. The target markets of BSkyB are both
individual citizens and small business enterprises, where the later will be at the centre in the
targeting. BSkyB (Sky) is to segment the targeted markets geographically where the concentration

However, a foremost component of the marketing planning process is discerning, innovative
marketing strategies and plans that may well direct marketing attempts (Kotler and Keller,

and find out the prospective segments where a firm can take opportunities to enhance its business
and profitability.
This report all concerns to identifying and assessing potential segments for BSkyB (Sky) UK
telecommunication market. This business organizing operating in UK telecommunication industry
is yet to make a mark and achieve a leading position. On the basis of identified market opportunities,
it might be suggested to BSkyB (Sky) to concentrate on mobile telecommunications services, which
appears a promising market segment, where BSkyB (Sky) huge opportunities to expand its business
and so the profitability in order to emerge as a leading player in UK telecommunication industry. It
is worth to mention here that UK mobile telecommunications market corresponds to one of the
most striking tele communications markets globally , with the mobile telecommunications services

Two Opposing Powers
I recently read two articles concerning the topics of science and religion. Chet Raymo, author of
Miracles and Explanations, offers insight on how science and religion are closely related while
David Ludden, author of Teaching Evolution at a Christian College , declares that science and
religion are too contradicting from one another and that people are unwilling to open their minds to
new ideas once they have established their beliefs (Raymo Ludden, 2011). This is a topic that has
had controversy surrounding it for an innumerable amount of years dating back to ancient times
when the Catholic Church ruled Europe to present times where we have to decide if we want our
children learning about Darwin s theory of evolution because it might... Show more content on

Mr. Ludden closes by stating one strategy science teachers use to capture the interest of their
students. He uses the analogy of a drug pusher giving away drugs for free until the client is hooked
and then starts charging them for more. He states that this method doesn t work because science
doesn t produce the high religion does and that at the end of the day it is up to the student to decide
whether they want to accommodate science with their faith (Raymo Ludden, 2011, p. 702 704).
Mr. Raymo uses a Rogerian style in his writing because he is trying to build common ground in
his argument. He starts by talking about miracles and how we are taught fake stories when we
are young. This is something majority of people can relate to. Then he explains how as we get
older we acknowledge these miracles as lies because we disprove them scientifically. He also
mentions that the concepts of science are miracles and based on that scientists form theories. So
far his reasoning is logical. This helps his argument because more people will appeal to logical
reasoning. He also provides strong evidence of religion and science working together when he
writes about the experiment done on the Shroud of Turin. The Church officials allowed three
distinct labs to use carbon dating to discover the age of the cloth. The findings were supported by
the Church, and Pope John Paul II went on to speak of the relationship of science and religion,

Analysis Of The Movie The Heart Of The Sea
December is usually a time of celebration where most people enjoy the holidays loved ones.
Unlike every other year, this season will include a blockbuster film that is loosely based off the
classic tale, Moby Dick. However, the trailers for In the Heart of the Sea, directed by Ron
Howard, are based of a book version with the same title. The abstract idea of this movie sounds
phenomenal, but the when it comes to the teaser trailerthat is supposed to be about a giant whale,
it did not seem to make a splash. The movie is not slated to be released until December 11, 2015,
but it is clear to see that the teaser trailer has given the movie a negative vibe. Luckily, the official
trailer was released about a month later, and it has revived the filmthrough the extremely well
crafted usage of plot details, appropriate music, and dialogue.
Ron Howard started his career as a child actor on the classic television shows. Soon later he
began breaking the barrier into movies, and Howard convinced Roger Corman, a producer, to
help him direct Howard s film project. Three years later, Howard evolved into a well established
movie director. Mr. Howard has now directed many movies that have resulted in success. For
example, he is the genius behind the movie, Apollo 13 (Ron Howard Biography). The award
winning director s latest project has had a difficult beginning, but is now steadily evolving into a
great film thanks to the official trailer.

Ducati Turnaround
The turnaround success of Ducati was the direct result of Federico Minoli s implementation of a
differentiation strategy. As a company that was heading towards bankruptcy, Ducati was saved and
revamped by Minoli s specific vision for the company that were precisely presented in an extremely
realistic manner. These goals for the company included double digit growth for Ducati and equaling
Harley Davidson s profit level.
After reading the success of this turnaround, one point that I found very interesting and contributed
to the company s success is Minoli s staffing method for Ducati. Not only did he strive to acquire
intelligent and qualified workers, but also he emphasized passion and creativity in ... Show more

I think by sticking to one specialty, Ducati has more power over its customers than all other
competing companies. This does not however eliminate rivalries between companies altogether.
Even though Ducati may have the advantage of differentiation, this particular industry is continuing
to grow and with that comes more competition for customers.
I think that one tradeoff that Ducati has to face is staying focused on the sport bike segment rather
than branching off into other segments of the market. Even though branching into other product
lines may be beneficial in the short term aspect, I think that by sticking to what they have already
successfully built and expanding their current market segment will eventually lead to higher long
term profitability. They could possibly achieve this by expanding distribution. Ducati can offer its
product and all of the benefits that come with purchasing one in more locations. The only thing
Ducati should be careful of is that they do not over expand. They want to make their product more
available for new customers but not in a way that makes the lifestyle of owning a Ducati as normal
as owning maybe a Harley Davidson. They need to make sure they still have the advantage of
having that differentiation factor that sets them apart from the competition.
Overall, Minoli s implementation of the differentiation strategy was critical to the turnaround of

Louisville Flood Victims By Margaret Bourke-White
Description:
Margaret Bourke White. Louisville Flood Victims. 1937. Photograph.
Analysis:
Margaret Bourke White utilizes the actual horizontal lines of the billboard, as well as the implied
lines of the people s heads. The repetition of the people along with the faces on the billboard,
forcefully move the attention horizontally to the right of the photograph. This, in turn, makes the
viewer anticipate what is coming next. Although we know that the people are in a state of motion,
there is a sense of stillness as if the moment will never end. At first glance, the balance appears to
be somewhat symmetrical, but looking further, one notices the small cluster of children in the
bottom left corner, casting the balance as asymmetrical. It also appears as if there is a downward
slope going from the furthermost right, to the furthermost left of the image. The colors seem varied
and dark, contrasting the coats of the individuals with the stark white bags, and the intrusive bright
colors of the billboard, this creates a contrast in the mood of the apparent glee of the billboard, with
the traumatic expressions of the individuals. Although black and white, the image uses a wide
range of light and dark, going from the bright white of the bags and billboard, to the deep darks
of the coats and few of the glum faces. In between these two extremes, there are varying shades of
light and dark in the billboard and surrounding scene. Finally, the emphasis is placed on the people,
the victims of the Louisville flood. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Keystone Cruiser
In American, summer may be the season for beer, but beer maker Keystone Light has found itself
in hot market competing against some major brands. With many of the premium brands upselling
their light beers, Keystone has been forced into a position where it must be bold if it wishes to
survive. By focusing on who the Cruiser is, and why they would enjoy Canhole, they can make a
product that is far more valuable than the premium beers that they are up against.
The essence of the Cruiser is that they are able to find enjoyment from the small things in life. The
cruiser does not need much and Canhole embodies that. While a premium beer drinker may need
more expensive and more elaborate means of entertainment, the cruiser can find enjoyment by
utilizing a cardboard box and some empty beer cans. The Cruiser is likely to be a person that
believes in simplicity, is friends and family oriented, and can laugh at themselves (Schiffman
Wisenblit, 2014). Unlike many others, the Cruiser is not working just to get ahead in life, there are

socioeconomic ranking, consumer behavior, and media exposure patterns (Schiffman Wisenblit,

income, education, occupation, and home value (Schiffman Wisenblit, 2014). Out of the 66
consumer groups, Red, White, Blue, Young Rustic, and Family Thrifts seem like the best place to
find the Cruiser. Knowing the lifestyle of the Cruiser will help to convince the Cruiser that

Contraceptives and Misconceptions Essay
Contraceptives and Misconceptions
There are many serious issues facing the U.S. today that require the rethinking of our problem
solving methods. In many situations, we may let our emotions interfere with our interpretations of
the facts. When a question of morals is involved, we often focus on what we want and not on what
we ve got. One of the most complicated and emotional issues today is the subject of making
contraceptives available to teenagers. Can it be that adult misconceptions are causing teenage
conceptions?
The statistics on teen sex are staggering. According to Mrs. Seth, spokesperson for Planned
Parenthood, Eighty five percent of high school students, by the time they reach the twelfth grade, are

If children don t have sex, they don t need protection. If they do have sex, pregnancy and sexually
transmitted diseases shouldn t be a price they have to pay for the attitudes of adults who don t
approve. Unfortunately, teenagers can and do have sex without parental approval. The truth
becomes apparent when a teen becomes a parent.
Parents try to be aware of what their children are doing; however, it is a misconception to think
that sexual activity can be controlled at all times. Our society, not biology, declares that teens are
not supposed to engage in sex. Teenagers are designed by nature to have sex, are possessed of all
the necessary equipment to do so, and have the mental capabilities to hide such behavior from
adults. The sex drive is not caused by teachers, contraceptives, or the media. Although well meant,
the notion that parental warnings can make sex less appealing is arrogant and foolish. Teenagers
are having sex without permission, and the goal must be to minimize the damage, not look for
someone to blame. As adults struggle with controlling the actions of their children, they should
protect them at the same time. If children are forbidden to have sex, it is unlikely that they will
discuss sexual problems with the very person who told them it is not permissible. There must be
options available to them, such as sex education

Today, on November 10, 2015, I had the opportunity to attend Hopkins County Central High
School and the privilege of interviewing Mrs. Kelly Grimes. Mrs. Grimes went to Murray State
and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture/Business. After obtaining her degree,
she worked one year and then was laid off. Mrs. Grimes later pursued the Nursing Program at
Madisonville Community College. Two years later she acquired a Staph infection in her leg and
almost lost it. A year and 11 surgeries later she was told she couldn t be on her feet so she went
back to obtained her first Master s degree in Mild to Moderate Disabilities. She then obtained her
Rank 1 in Moderate to Severe Disabilities. She worked as an Assistant while finishing her
degrees. I feel that Mrs. Grimes is a prime example of a great teacher and very great candidate for
these following questions. And here are the answers she gave me:
1. Why did you become a teacher? What was the deciding factor to make you choose Special
Education?
While in High School, I was involved in the Peer Tutoring program. Although I had already been
involved with the several other programs, I knew from an early age that a Special Education
teacher was what I wanted to do. Helping students achieve their goals and help them to succeed in
life was my true calling. But the desire to help the most challenged student drove me beyond
regular education. The memories of my Peer tutoring experience kept me striving to be a

Team Tack Shoppe Analysis
I would like to become a part of Team Tack Shoppe because I want to be able to represent a

me to be able to connect with more positive, motivated equestrians. I started riding at the age of
eight, when my dad took me to the barn in our neighborhood. I had initially just went to pet the
horses, but I ended getting to ride; and that is where it all started. Soon after I started taking lessons
at a local barn. Four years later I purchased my first pony, Trigger, from my trainer. I worked so
hard for the money to buy Trigger, and I was so proud of him. Sadly I was only able to keep
Trigger for about a year before I had to sell him back to my trainer. I still continued with lessons
and rode when I could, but I didn t get to purchase my next horseuntil I was twenty. I purchased

motivated rider who is always there to help. I think having the privilege of caring for my own

(in a good way!) become my whole life. Of course I make time for family, but they all know that I
am passionate about not only riding, but horses in general. I really appreciate all that horses have

The results from the experiment have shown that an increase in sodium chloride solution increases
the rate of osmosis and diffusion until the percentage reaches an amount that is near the
concentration of solutes inside the eggs membrane.

temperate stays the same throughout all solutions, making sure that the solutions are correct that
the weight and size of the eggs are the measured correctly and that when the eggs are removed
they are removed at the same time. Some of the eggs were not completely submerged in the

Some ways The Dream is described in Steinbeck s book is owning a small portion of the United

that is just too much to ask. In Robert Burns poem To a Mouse , he writes The best laid schemes

  • 2. Simon Farrah Abraham Character Analysis Simon Saran is a forced to be reckoned with. His on again off again relationship with Farrah Abraham has been documented through Teen Mom OG. The two are apparently off at the moment, though that doesn t mean there isn t a reconciliation possible. Because Saran has been a huge part of the MTV franchise, the show offered him his own special. This is a big deal because the ones who have been offered the same have all been married to or have had children with the star they were attached to while filming. Being Simon is set to air this coming Wednesday on MTV. It will be an hour long special featuring Simon Saran in his everyday life. He confirmed this was coming back in June, but Farrah Abraham shaded him when he mentioned it. The two have been hot and cold for several months now. Saran is a businessman, and now, Abraham is back to selling sex.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... According to Starcasm, Simon Saran and Courtland Rogers got into an insult match where one went a little too far. Everyone knows that Twitter is the place where anything goes. Racial comments, insults, and everything else can be seen on the platform with no enforcing of etiquette. Saran was going off about Donald Trump being blamed for the Las Vegas massacre, and Rogers decided to have his say with him. It appears that since Jenelle Evans no longer wants anything to do with Courtland, he is really trying to stay relevant. Both men reverted to heavy insults, with Courtland Rogers insinuating that Simon Saran was a terrorist with a tweet about hijacking a plane. Of course, Simon wasn t innocent in the debate, but Courtland really went the whole nine yards with his comments. There is a streak of jealousy there. Being Simon is airing this upcoming week and since Rogers no longer has any connection to the show, there may be a little bitterness. The two exchanged a few more tweets and that was ... • 6. Essay on Vietnam Weapons of the Vietnam War In late 1961, America took physical force in the Vietnam War. War is a complex series of political events that leads to physical involvement in the form of armed combat. Technology is a major deciding factor in war, along with the battle tactics used, terrain, experience and professionalism of the opposing forces. By 1961 both the United States and Vietnam had developed a broad array of guns and weapons to fight off one another. Coupled with battle tactics this provides a deadly and extremely hostile environment. In the beginning of the war the weapon of choice for the support troops was the M1 Carbine. The M 16 is infamous for its accuracy on the battlefield especially at longer ranges. Both assault rifles share the same 5.56mm projectiles, which provides significant stopping power. The M 203 grenade launcher was a muzzle loaded grenade that fit under the barrel of assault rifles such as the M 16. The 40mm grenade was used to provide additional fire support in a gunfight. The high explosive had a range of 400m and a blast radius of 5m. Before the M 203, infantry used a weapon called the M 79 grenade launcher. Which largely resembled a sawn off shotgun. The M 79 was designed to take up the gap between maximum hand grenade distance, and minimum mortar fire distance. It could fire an array of projectiles which included darts, buck shots, smoke, gas and flares. The M 79 was ideal in Vietnam terrain. Although the M 16 was very easy to use in the field, some of the U.S. Armies Special Forces used a gun very similar to the M 16. The XM 177E2 or more commonly the colt commando or the CAR 15, had telescoping stock for easy handling and could be used more like an SMG instead of an assault rifle which made the CAR 15 a great choice for combat situations where fighting would be extremely close. Although it was popular with Special Forces the CAR 15 saw very limited use with normal battalion units. Infantry used the M 67 recoilless rifle to destroy bunkers. Nozick s The Examined Life Harsimran Natt Philosophy 1 Final Prompt #1 Value and Meaning Nozick had clear definitions of value and meaning in The Examined Life that can be applied to anyone s life. According to Nozick, meaning involves a connection to something beyond internal boundaries , or values. He also says values possess an internal unified coherence, which are split into two categories: instrumental and intrinsic. According to his definition, there is only certain aspects of life that have meaning and value and there could be changes made to life to make it have more value and meaning. Consequently, this rule applies to humans as well, and unfortunately enough, most humans in our era fail to live. In the poem Sympathy by Paul Laurence Dunbar, Dunbar seeks to explore this sullen connection with the speaker and a caged animal feels by utilizing repetition and metaphor. The first stanza begins with the primary metaphor of the caged bird. In this line, the speaker states that he knows what the caged bird feels (line 1). Under the assumption that the speaker, like most people, cannot speak to animals, his understanding of the bird s feelings must come from inference from observation. He gets you to imagine nature and its beauty, and then writes, No, I am sure it will be none of these. (Johnson, 1923, p. 677). Now that you know it s not nature that he will miss the most, he continues to talk about his city, Manhattan, and that it would be the thing he would miss the most. This is evident in the short story The Falling girl and They re Not Your Husband as the main characters are impacted by social expectations, insecurity and peer pressure. Social expectations is a significant component in people s lives, to the point where people become obsessive over materialistic aspects in life. These expectations creates normality for individuals and essentially tell individuals how they should behave. There are different social expectations that are induced for the upper class and the lower class, otherwise known as social status. The two protagonist Marta from The Falling Girl and Earl from They re Not Your Husband undergo challenges that they face regarding social expectations and social status, which in turn shows the similarities between the two short stories. Marta was identified as someone of lower class, she had dreams and ambitions of being a part of an elite society. Despite all her aspirations in life, she knew that she would never obtain this lifestyle, which ultimately lead downfall as she wanted to be a part of society. Few authors proposed treatment flow charts, based on the moderate evidence that PDAP represents a neuropathic pain condition. However, these treatment approaches have never been tested through an experimental study in a PDAP population. Baad Hansen et al., in a literature review published in 2008, proposed the following stepped treatment: start with patient education about their condition as it is necessary to avoid further unnecessary treatments. We also found treatment suggestions that still need to be tested in PDAP patients to reach a higher level of evidence. Several authors agree that it is necessary to avoid unnecessary treatments as they do not have positive outcomes and they may even worsen the pain (38) (44) (58). Invasive treatments create higher stress to an already dysfunctional nervous system and this has been observed to increase pain in PDAP patients (66). Ram et al., report that in their clinical practice they test patients for local anesthetic response in order to decide for a more central or peripheral therapy (3). This approach can be promising and it is supported by evidence in the literature of different levels of central and peripheral sensitization in different patients (34) (37). He also mentions that the concepts of science are miracles and based on that scientists form theories. So far his reasoning is logical. The abstract idea of this movie sounds phenomenal, but the when it comes to the teaser trailerthat is supposed to be about a giant whale, it did not seem to make a splash. The movie is not slated to be released until December 11, 2015, but it is clear to see that the teaser trailer has given the movie a negative vibe. Luckily, the official trailer was released about a month later, and it has revived the filmthrough the extremely well crafted usage of plot details, appropriate music, and dialogue. Even though branching into other product lines may be beneficial in the short term aspect, I think that by sticking to what they have already successfully built and expanding their current market segment will eventually lead to higher long term profitability. They could possibly achieve this by expanding distribution. Ducati can offer its product and all of the benefits that come with purchasing one in more locations. Analysis: Margaret Bourke White utilizes the actual horizontal lines of the billboard, as well as the implied lines of the people s heads. The repetition of the people along with the faces on the billboard, forcefully move the attention horizontally to the right of the photograph. This, in turn, makes the viewer anticipate what is coming next. Although we know that the people are in a state of motion, there is a sense of stillness as if the moment will never end. At first glance, the balance appears to be somewhat symmetrical, but looking further, one notices the small cluster of children in the bottom left corner, casting the balance as asymmetrical. It also appears as if there is a downward slope going from the furthermost right, to the furthermost left of the image. The colors seem varied and dark, contrasting the coats of the individuals with the stark white bags, and the intrusive bright colors of the billboard, this creates a contrast in the mood of the apparent glee of the billboard, with the traumatic expressions of the individuals. Although black and white, the image uses a wide range of light and dark, going from the bright white of the bags and billboard, to the deep darks of the coats and few of the glum faces. In between these two extremes, there are varying shades of light and dark in the billboard and surrounding scene. Parents try to be aware of what their children are doing; however, it is a misconception to think that sexual activity can be controlled at all times.
