On December 7 1941, at just about 0600 hrs, the six carriers and 423 plane s Japanese attack
force commanded by Admiral Nagumo, it is getting ready to launch the first wave of 183 planes.
At exactly 0610 183 planes take off from the carriers located 200 miles north of Oahu and heads for
their target, the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor. The second wave consisting of 167 planes took
off at 0715.
