This document describes an experimental study that evaluated the effect of notch angle on the fracture toughness of Al7075 T6 alloy. Circumferentially cracked round bar specimens with notch angles of 45°, 60°, and 75° were tested in tension to failure. The fracture loads were used to calculate fracture toughness (KIC) values based on two equations. The results showed that KIC ranged from 27.59 to 28.50 MPa√m based on one equation and 29.00 to 29.95 MPa√m based on the other, which are within the expected range for this alloy. Notch angle was found to influence KIC values, with higher angles corresponding to higher toughness. This simple specimen geometry
