Stereo vision is one of the interesting research topics in the computer vision field. Two cameras are used to generate a disparity map, resulting in the depth estimation. Camera calibration is the most important step in stereo vision. The calibration step is used to generate an intrinsic parameter of each camera to get a better disparity map. In general, the calibration process is done manually by using a chessboard pattern, but this process is an exhausting task. Self-calibration is an important ability required to overcome this problem. Self-calibration required a robust and good matching algorithm to find the key feature between images as reference. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the performance of three matching algorithms for the autocalibration process. The matching algorithms used in this research are SIFT, SURF, and ORB. The result shows that SIFT performs better than other methods.

This document describes a system for visualizing deviations on arbitrary surfaces for quality assurance and process control. The system combines 3D measurement devices like terrestrial laser scanners with a projector. This allows detected deviations between a reference model (like CAD data) and measured data to be projected directly onto the measured object. The key steps are determining the relative orientation of the measurement device and projector, computing an inspection map of deviations, and projecting this map. A novel approach called "virtual targets" is presented for establishing the relative orientation without using physical targets when laser scanning. Super-resolution (SR) is the process of obtaining a high resolution (HR) image or
a sequence of HR images from a set of low resolution (LR) observations. The block
matching algorithms used for motion estimation to obtain motion vectors between the
frames in Super-resolution. The implementation and comparison of two different types of
block matching algorithms viz. Exhaustive Search (ES) and Spiral Search (SS) are
discussed. Advantages of each algorithm are given in terms of motion estimation
computational complexity and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). The Spiral Search
algorithm achieves PSNR close to that of Exhaustive Search at less computation time than
that of Exhaustive Search. The algorithms that are evaluated in this paper are widely used
in video super-resolution and also have been used in implementing various video standards
like H.263, MPEG4, H.264.

An Unsupervised Change Detection in Satellite IMAGES Using MRFFCM ClusteringEditor IJCATR

Abstract
In this work, laser speckle velocimetry, a unique optical method for velocity measurement of fluid flow has been described. A laser sheet is developed and is illuminated on microscopic seeded particles to produce the speckle pattern at the recording plane. Double frame- single-exposure speckle images are captured in such a way that the second speckle image is shifted exactly in a known direction. The auto-correlation method has the ambiguity of direction of flow. To rectify this, spatial shift of the second image has been premeditated. Cross-correlation of sub interrogation areas is obtained by Fast Fourier Transform technique. Four sub-windows processed to obtain the velocity information with vector map analysis precisely.

This article presents a new algorithm for object detection using stereo camera system. The problem to get an accurate object detion using stereo camera is the imprecise of matching process between two scenes with the same viewpoint. Hence, this article aims to reduce the incorrect matching pixel with four stages. This new algorithm is the combination of continuous process of matching cost computation, aggregation, optimization and filtering. The first stage is matching cost computation to acquire preliminary result using an absolute differences method. Then the second stage known as aggregation step uses a guided filter with fixed window support size. After that, the optimization stage uses winner-takes-all (WTA) approach which selects the smallest matching differences value and normalized it to the disparity level. The last stage in the framework uses a bilateral filter. It is effectively further decrease the error on the disparity map which contains information of object detection and locations. The proposed work produces low errors (i.e., 12.11% and 14.01% nonocc and all errors) based on the KITTI dataset and capable to perform much better compared with before the proposed framework and competitive with some newly available methods.

Detection of Bridges using Different Types of High Resolution Satellite Imagesidescitation
Automatic detection of geographical objects such as roads, buildings and bridges
from remote sensing imagery is a very meaningful but difficult work. Bridges over water is
a typical geographical object and its automatic detection is of great significance for many
applications. Finding Region Of Interest (ROI) having water areas alone is the most crucial
task in bridge detection. This can be done with image processing / soft computing methods
using images in spatial domain or with Normalized Differential Water Index (NDWI) using
images in spectral domain. We have developed an efficient algorithm for bridge detection
where the ROI segmentation is done using both methods. Exact locations of bridges are
obtained by knowledge models and spatial resolution of the image. These knowledge models
are applied in the algorithm in such a way that the thresholds are automatically fixed
depending on the quality of the image. Using the algorithm any type of bridges are extracted
irrespective of their inclination and shape.

Mesh consisting of merge of polygons can be demonstrated in a more packed, smooth and fluent way. In this study is shown that applied the triangulation and smoothing method for 3D modelling, perform to a fast and robust mesh structures compared to existing methods therewithal no remeshing is necessary for refinement and reduction.
This document describes a laser distance measurement system using a webcam. It consists of a laser transmitter and webcam receiver. The laser pulse is reflected off an object and received by the webcam. Software calculates the distance based on the time of flight. The system achieves high accuracy of ±3cm. It calibrates the system using test measurements to determine the relationship between pixel location of the laser dot and actual distance. This allows accurate distance measurements within a few percent of error out to over 2 meters. Potential improvements discussed are using a laser line instead of dot for more data points and a green laser for better visibility.

This study examines the effect of response reduction factors (R factors) on reinforced concrete (RC) framed structures through nonlinear dynamic analysis. Three RC frame models with varying heights (4, 8, and 12 stories) were analyzed in ETABS software under different R factors ranging from 1 to 5. The results showed that displacement increased as the R factor decreased, indicating less linear behavior for lower R factors. Drift also decreased proportionally with increasing R factors from 1 to 5. Shear forces in the frames decreased with higher R factors. In general, R factors of 3 to 5 produced more satisfactory performance with less displacement and drift. A Novel Dehazing Method for Color Accuracy and Contrast Enhancement Method fo...IRJET Journal

This paper proposes a neural network based region classification technique that classifies
regions in an image into two classes: textures and homogenous regions. The classification is
based on training a neural network with statistical parameters belonging to the regions of
interest. An application of this classification method is applied in image denoising by applying
different transforms to the two different classes. Texture is denoised by shearlets while
homogenous regions are denoised by wavelets. The denoised results show better performance
than either of the transforms applied independently. The proposed algorithm successfully
reduces the mean square error of the denoised result and provides perceptually good results.
This document describes a system for visualizing deviations on arbitrary surfaces for quality assurance and process control. The system combines 3D measurement devices like terrestrial laser scanners with a projector. This allows detected deviations between a reference model (like CAD data) and measured data to be projected directly onto the measured object. The key steps are determining the relative orientation of the measurement device and projector, computing an inspection map of deviations, and projecting this map. A novel approach called "virtual targets" is presented for establishing the relative orientation without using physical targets when laser scanning. Super-resolution (SR) is the process of obtaining a high resolution (HR) image or
a sequence of HR images from a set of low resolution (LR) observations. The block
matching algorithms used for motion estimation to obtain motion vectors between the
frames in Super-resolution. The implementation and comparison of two different types of
block matching algorithms viz. Exhaustive Search (ES) and Spiral Search (SS) are
discussed. Advantages of each algorithm are given in terms of motion estimation
computational complexity and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). The Spiral Search
algorithm achieves PSNR close to that of Exhaustive Search at less computation time than
that of Exhaustive Search. The algorithms that are evaluated in this paper are widely used
in video super-resolution and also have been used in implementing various video standards
like H.263, MPEG4, H.264.

This document presents an algorithm for image blur detection using 2D Haar wavelet transforms. The algorithm splits images into tiles and applies the 2D Haar wavelet transform to each tile to detect regions with pronounced changes. Tiles with similar changes are grouped into clusters. Images with large clusters are classified as sharp, while images with small clusters are classified as blurred. The algorithm is integrated with a skewed barcode scanning algorithm to filter out blurred images, improving scanning success rates. Experimental results found it performed comparably or better than two other blur detection algorithms and positively impacted skewed barcode scanning when integrated.

An Unsupervised Change Detection in Satellite IMAGES Using MRFFCM ClusteringEditor IJCATR

Abstract
In this work, laser speckle velocimetry, a unique optical method for velocity measurement of fluid flow has been described. A laser sheet is developed and is illuminated on microscopic seeded particles to produce the speckle pattern at the recording plane. Double frame- single-exposure speckle images are captured in such a way that the second speckle image is shifted exactly in a known direction. The auto-correlation method has the ambiguity of direction of flow. To rectify this, spatial shift of the second image has been premeditated. Cross-correlation of sub interrogation areas is obtained by Fast Fourier Transform technique. Four sub-windows processed to obtain the velocity information with vector map analysis precisely.

This article presents a new algorithm for object detection using stereo camera system. The problem to get an accurate object detion using stereo camera is the imprecise of matching process between two scenes with the same viewpoint. Hence, this article aims to reduce the incorrect matching pixel with four stages. This new algorithm is the combination of continuous process of matching cost computation, aggregation, optimization and filtering. The first stage is matching cost computation to acquire preliminary result using an absolute differences method. Then the second stage known as aggregation step uses a guided filter with fixed window support size. After that, the optimization stage uses winner-takes-all (WTA) approach which selects the smallest matching differences value and normalized it to the disparity level. The last stage in the framework uses a bilateral filter. It is effectively further decrease the error on the disparity map which contains information of object detection and locations. The proposed work produces low errors (i.e., 12.11% and 14.01% nonocc and all errors) based on the KITTI dataset and capable to perform much better compared with before the proposed framework and competitive with some newly available methods.

This document discusses rotation invariant face recognition using three feature extraction techniques: Rotated Local Binary Pattern (RLBP), Local Phase Quantization (LPQ), and Contourlet transform. It first extracts features from input face images using these three techniques. It then applies Linear Discriminant Analysis to reduce the feature dimensions. Finally, it uses k-Nearest Neighbors classification to perform face recognition on the Jaffe dataset. Experimental results show that the face recognition accuracy without LDA is 99.06% and increases to 100% when LDA is used for feature dimension reduction.

Detection of Bridges using Different Types of High Resolution Satellite Imagesidescitation
Automatic detection of geographical objects such as roads, buildings and bridges
from remote sensing imagery is a very meaningful but difficult work. Bridges over water is
a typical geographical object and its automatic detection is of great significance for many
applications. Finding Region Of Interest (ROI) having water areas alone is the most crucial
task in bridge detection. This can be done with image processing / soft computing methods
using images in spatial domain or with Normalized Differential Water Index (NDWI) using
images in spectral domain. We have developed an efficient algorithm for bridge detection
where the ROI segmentation is done using both methods. Exact locations of bridges are
obtained by knowledge models and spatial resolution of the image. These knowledge models
are applied in the algorithm in such a way that the thresholds are automatically fixed
depending on the quality of the image. Using the algorithm any type of bridges are extracted
irrespective of their inclination and shape.

Polygon structure, which is constituted by coordinates of point cloud (x,y,z) corresponding to the position of 3D model in space and obtained by nodal points and connection of these points by means of triangulation, is utilized for the demonstration of 3D models. Gaussian smoothing and developed methods are applied to the mesh consisting of merge of these polygons, and a new mesh simplification and augmentation algorithm are suggested for the over the 3D modelling. Mesh consisting of merge of polygons can be demonstrated in a more packed, smooth and fluent way. In this study is shown that applied the triangulation and smoothing method for 3D modelling, perform to a fast and robust mesh structures compared to existing methods therewithal no remeshing is necessary for refinement and reduction.
This document describes a laser distance measurement system using a webcam. It consists of a laser transmitter and webcam receiver. The laser pulse is reflected off an object and received by the webcam. Software calculates the distance based on the time of flight. The system achieves high accuracy of ±3cm. It calibrates the system using test measurements to determine the relationship between pixel location of the laser dot and actual distance. This allows accurate distance measurements within a few percent of error out to over 2 meters. Potential improvements discussed are using a laser line instead of dot for more data points and a green laser for better visibility.

This study examines the effect of response reduction factors (R factors) on reinforced concrete (RC) framed structures through nonlinear dynamic analysis. Three RC frame models with varying heights (4, 8, and 12 stories) were analyzed in ETABS software under different R factors ranging from 1 to 5. The results showed that displacement increased as the R factor decreased, indicating less linear behavior for lower R factors. Drift also decreased proportionally with increasing R factors from 1 to 5. Shear forces in the frames decreased with higher R factors. In general, R factors of 3 to 5 produced more satisfactory performance with less displacement and drift. Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoringIJECEIAES
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.

The proper function of the integrated circuit (IC) in an inhibiting electromagnetic environment has always been a serious concern throughout the decades of revolution in the world of electronics, from disjunct devices to today’s integrated circuit technology, where billions of transistors are combined on a single chip. The automotive industry and smart vehicles in particular, are confronting design issues such as being prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Electronic control devices calculate incorrect outputs because of EMI and sensors give misleading values which can prove fatal in case of automotives. In this paper, the authors have non exhaustively tried to review research work concerned with the investigation of EMI in ICs and prediction of this EMI using various modelling methodologies and measurement setups.

Climate change's impact on the planet forced the United Nations and governments to promote green energies and electric transportation. The deployments of photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) systems gained stronger momentum due to their numerous advantages over fossil fuel types. The advantages go beyond sustainability to reach financial support and stability. The work in this paper introduces the hybrid system between PV and EV to support industrial and commercial plants. This paper covers the theoretical framework of the proposed hybrid system including the required equation to complete the cost analysis when PV and EV are present. In addition, the proposed design diagram which sets the priorities and requirements of the system is presented. The proposed approach allows setup to advance their power stability, especially during power outages. The presented information supports researchers and plant owners to complete the necessary analysis while promoting the deployment of clean energy. The result of a case study that represents a dairy milk farmer supports the theoretical works and highlights its advanced benefits to existing plants. The short return on investment of the proposed approach supports the paper's novelty approach for the sustainable electrical system. In addition, the proposed system allows for an isolated power setup without the need for a transmission line which enhances the safety of the electrical network
Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.
