This document reviews a bearing sorting system that uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) for automatic sorting based on weight. Key components of the system include pneumatic cylinders, proximity sensors, load cells to measure weight, and a PLC to control sorting. Bearings move along a conveyor belt and are weighed on a load cell. The PLC compares the weight to a threshold and signals the appropriate pneumatic cylinder to sort the bearing into a collection box based on whether it is below, at, or above the threshold weight. The system allows for accurate and high-speed sorting to improve production rates over manual sorting. It is proposed for use in industries that require sorting products by weight.

Design procedure of an electrohydraulic driveeSAT Journals
Abstract Aerodynamicists use wind tunnel to test models as well as for proposed aircraft components and engines. In order to keep these models fixed in place for testing, ground based equipment is essential. Electrohydraulic drives form the back bone of such type of mechanism which requires continuous motion for life time operations with controlled motion for start stop and bi-directional motion mechanisms. Focus of this paper is on systematic approach for optimal designing of a typical electrohydraulic drive that will provide roll motion to the testing model with emphasis on reliability of the system. This paper further highlights the design, selection, testing and qualification procedures of different elements of the drive and the electrohydraulic drive assembly as a whole. Keywords - Design, Develop, Electrohydraulic roll drive, Spindle.

Abstract
Power is transmitted from motor to output shaft without any interference when no excessive load acting on the machine. But major problem is faced by industry on the machine that is when excessive load will act on the output shaft then problem of overloading make the driving motor or engine to stall; which will lead to burnout of the electric motor. In extreme cases this overload will lead to the breakage of drive elements or the clutch itself. In order to avoid the damage of the transmission elements it is necessary that the input and output shafts be disconnected in case of sudden overloads. The isolation of the input driver member i.e.; motor from the output member is absolutely necessary to avoid damage itself. Such serious problem which face by the industry can be avoided by use of Torque limiter timer belt spindle drive for overload protection and this can be achieved by the overload slipping ball clutch which is an safety device used in the transmission line to connect the driving and driven elements such that in case of occasional overload the clutch will slip there by disconnecting the input and output members. This protects the transmission elements from any breakage or damage and to cope up with this situation static structural analysis is done on the different parts of Torque limiter such as Base flange, Test rig, output shaft, plunger etc. In this case according to the discussion with company person we will decide to done the static analysis of various parts such as base flange, test rig, output shaft etc
Utilization of plc programming for gravity die casting automationeSAT Journals
Abstract Under the present regime of globalization and liberalization, quality enhancement and cost reduction are two major steps to enhance productivity in major Industries. We focused on the very practical, safe, economical and rewarding strategies i.e. the application of LOW COST AUTOMATION. In Industry which uses of automation, a sequence is followed in the manufacturing of number of products of the same kind and thus chance for Automation. In our research we have achieved low cost automation through a Programmable Logic Controller (SIEMENS SIMANTIC S7300PLC with STEP7 software). It is used to replace the necessary sequential relay circuits for the control on the devices. In automated system, PLC is usually the central part of the control system. With execution of a program stored in program memory, PLC continuously monitors status of the system through signals from input devices (sensors). Based on the logic implemented in the program PLC determines which action is to be executed with output instruments Actuators). Depending on our requirement Pneumatic actuators, Solenoid valves and sensors are used to run the sequence. Flow control valves are used to regulate the flow of air pressure where ever necessary. Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.
CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!

Terzaghi's soil bearing capacity theory, developed by Karl Terzaghi, is a fundamental principle in geotechnical engineering used to determine the bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This theory provides a method to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil, which is the maximum load per unit area that the soil can support without undergoing shear failure.
