At Element Studio, our mission is to provide excellent,
comprehensive, and cost-effective design services to suit the
specialized needs of our clients. We do this by developing a clear
and consistent messaging embodied in a bold design that is well
planned and well managed throughout the construction process.

Architecture
Element Studio understands that a distinctive image, the quality
of construction and a cost-conscious design are pivotal for a
successful business. Architecture encompasses not only the
essential physical product, but also the planning and coordination
that go into producing this product. Element Studio works closely
with you to develop and implement an exterior image that
is integrated with the total concept. To do this well is the result
of effective foresight, leadership and experience that Element
Studio brings to each project.
Interiors Design
Great interiors evoke customers’ emotion and brand loyalty for
the retailer. Your customer’s perceptions of brand image play
a critical role in the retail environment. Be it calm and serene,
bold and modern, or grandiose and flamboyant, consistent
and clear messages conveyed through thoughtful interiors and
eye-catching, informative graphic design creates a loyal and
supportive customer base. Element Studio believes the brand
message can be conveyed most readily to the customer through
a well designed and well-implemented interior environment used
to their full potential.
Rollouts

HOW WE THINK
Exploration - Utilizing research, experience and ingenuity to
develop and present a solid, sustainable and exciting brand and
communication strategy for the client.
Explanation - Evolving the strategy into a series of images,
marketing materials, signage and language that produce a
complete representation of the client
Expression - Developing of final designs and plans that emulate
the identity, positioning and statement of the client.
Execution - Implementing the prepared concepts into the
commercial arena through prodution, strategic plans, schematic
guidlines, and documention.
Extension - Continuing to develop and/or evolve brand awareness
with the clients after all plans have been executed. With quarterly
communication, progress reports and research evolving attitudes

THE CONTAINER STORE : SAN FRANCISCO
The Container Store entered into the urban market with a multi
level store on a prominent corner in Downtown San Francisco.
By working with the modern asthetic and its brand concepts, the
large volume spaces were adapted for multiple project delivery
into denser urban markets. Custom stainless steel elevators
provide interior circulation while the clear glass entry element
welcomes customers.

THE CONTAINER STORE : CHESTNUT HILL
Located along Boylston Street and adjacent to the Chestnut Hill
mall, The Container Store opened a modern single story location
in the Boston area. The exterior is clad with white metal panels to
give an organized, minimal appearance while LED light monitors
attract customers during evening hours. Highlighting the interior,
illuminated product plinths, custom fixture displays, and floating
gypsum ceilings served to spotlight the product mix.

THE CONTAINER STORE : SIXTH STREET
Located in the historic B. Altman department store building
on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, The Container Store opened its
flagship store in November 2003. The Container Store retail space
fills nearly the entire 30,000 S.F. first level of the NeoGrec, cast iron
building built in 1887. Much of the cast iron details in the original
interior were preserved and highlighted while incorporated with
more modern finishes such as raw steel, stained concrete floors,
and floating drywall ceilings. The mix of modern materials and
lighting coupled with rustic cast iron details serve to highllight the
diverse product mix of The Container Store.

AUGUST E’S
August E’s restaurant injected new life to an existing lackluster
building located one block off historic main street in Fredericksburg
Texas. Built in the 1950’s as an automotive repair shop and later
used as a furniture warehouse, the CMU block building was
unattractive. To match the upscale menu of the restaurant and
meet the limited budget, a raw steel tube screen was used to
articulate the entrance. Simple steel gray fabric awnings and
accent lighting completed the exterior. The planning of the interior
utilized the existing structural walls to separate the dining and bar /
lounge area from the kitchen. The cast in place concrete bar with
Brazilian cherry wood panels is accompanied by white leather
chairs, giving a warm modern feel to the entire restaurant.

CREEKWOOD CHURCH
After completion of a master plan for a growing congregation,
phase one included a sanctuary, kitchen, classrooms, and
church offices. The use of materials such as wood trusses, stained
concrete floors, brick and natural light addressed the desires of
the church for the building to reflect good stewardship.

GOOD SHEPHERD EPISCOPAL SCHOOL
A new master plan and building expansion for the Pre K through
8th grade. Enrollment increases necessitated a new 26,000 sf
lower school, 18,000 sf middle school and a 4,000 sf dining and
theatrical pavilion.
An exposed structural system and simple roof structure are
integrated with wood ceilings and clerestory windows to allow for
natural light to filter into the corridors and classrooms.

TWENTY 2
An intimate full-bar lounge. Asian-inspired elements feature
hues of amber and cream. Twenty 2 maintains its tranquility with
subdued lighting, strong horizontal planes and symmetry for a
feeling of luxuriant elegance.

THE MERCURY
The Mercury immerses two dining areas and adjacent lounge
(The Side Bar) that are characterized by their sleek contemporary
lines, polished wood and textile accents. Lush wood veneers and
floating ceilings create a hip yet inviting ambiance.

ROYAL RIDGE III OFFICE
This 135,000 square foot office building was designed as with two
shifted office pods linked by a central lobby finished with German
limestone floors, stone columns and a curved figured Makore wall
with Macassar Ebony accents. A central stair of limestone with
a cable guard rail slips behind the stone columns to the second
floor lobby. On the exterior a simple concrete tilt panel skin is
accented by sublte glass colors held by a curtain wall entrance
and linked to the site by a landscaped motorcourt.

MI COCINA : WEST VILLAGE
Departing from tradition, the creation of a clean, modern
space gave new life to a restaurant in the heart of the West
Village in Dallas, Texas. Serving the hip urban scene, this Tex-Mex
restaurant uses dark wood screens, white leather seating and an
illuminated glass bar to redefine its image. The polished concrete
floors provide a durable and attractive surface while the
carefully placed accent lighting highlights the wall panels and
seating alcoves.

MI COCINA : BENT TREE
An opportunity for a fresh modern design for Mi Cocina was
sparked after the existing restaurant was destroyed by fire in
2005. Departing from tradition, the use of dark woods, terrazzo
floors with recycled dark glass, and clean off-white walls unveiled
a modern feel to this well known Tex-Mex restaurant. A custom
woven wood door opens into an entry featuring glass bubble
light fixtures coupled with a wood and stainless steel screen. The
lounge area features a lighted glass bar and a woven wood
panel that complement the white leather chairs to set a mood
of luxury.
