HOSPITALITY – IN-PROGRESSHiltonRiyadh Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaThe lighting approach for the façades of the Hilton Riyadh Hotel and Residences is multi- faceted. The hotel tower’s unique reveals are gently illuminated to highlight the vertical features, and distinguish it from the residential tower. In comparison, the horizontal rainscreens on the residential tower conceal a soft up-down glow. These two buildings are united using other lighting techniques, such as a vertical wash of key building façades, a continuous linear blue accent at the parapet of each building, and at the podium, a simple, yet dramatic lighting of the window openings, linking the towers together in a common design approach.
