Reflection On Micro Teaching
This essay will analyse and highlight on the fifteen minute micro teaching reflection that is vital for
the self evaluation and professional development of my teaching practice. It will further identify my
strengths and weaknesses through my peer assessment and reflect on the teaching and learning
theories, methods and strategies that are linked and practiced in my micro teach.
According to the teachers standards (DfE, 2012) teachers make the education of their learners their
first concern, keep their knowledge up to date and are self critical. Therefore, this reflection practice
will guide me towards the improvement on my lesson planning strategies and delivery. In addition, it
will also make an enormous difference in my teaching and learning practice which is vital for teacher
training.
One of the significant part of this course is micro teaching session, in this session we are required to
deliver fifteen minute planned lesson containing learning outcome. Furthermore, this session was
recorded and observed by the peers to evaluate. Due to my interest in ESOL I decided to deliver my
session on Boogle Puzzle to embed a simple literacy/numeracy activity aims to target ESOL (English
for speakers of other languages) learners. In this task, pupils are given activity to make seven ten
words in the English language from the word grid to improve word recognition and spellings.
Based on reflection of my micro teaching I provided learners with the basic instructions on Boggle
puzzle and opted for potential instruction strategy. I used present, practice and produce strategy
(English language resource, 2017) to allow pupils to practice and learn new vocabulary in co operative
way. Similarly, I used co operative learning method to encourage pupils to learn from each other and
gain interpersonal skills. According to Johnson and Johnson (1995) co operative learning method have
proven effective in increasing motivation, self esteem and problem solving. Thus, to enhance inter
dependency, the class was divided into two main groups of fours and were further divided into pairs,
to finish their task. According to Mercer (1985) effective communication is as cognitive and social
development are intertwined,

IS Selection and Acquisition Kelly Stewart HCS 483 September 5, 2011 Jacqueline Sommerville IS
Selection and Acquisition Many types of information systems (IS) are used in health care on the
administrative and clinical levels and are the backbone of the industry. Information systems include
electronic medical record and electronic health records, computerized provider order entry systems,
medication administration systems, telemedicine, telehealth, e prescribing, and personal health records

According to Rahimi (2011), In general, regular and open communication between designers and
users allows for the understanding of user preferences, their needs, their problems, and confusions
(para. 5). If the outside vendors cannot provide a system that meets the requirements, the committee
will explore other options. The committee may chose to leverage someone else s infrastructure (by
contracting with an application service provider) or they build the application (by contracting with a
system developer or using in house staff) (Wager, 2009, p. 156). Last Steps The next step in the
committee s process is reviewing the proposals from outside vendors. During this process, the
committee develops evaluation criteria, grading scales for evaluating vendor responses to RFP and
RFI. The committee then views vendor demonstrations, checks references, and visits sites running the
same or similar IS. After the evaluations, the committee prepares vendor analysis describing the
results from each vendor, whether the vendor s ideas are aligned with the organization s goals, and
comparing the data. This information is then used to conduct a cost benefit analysis using the
previously developed grading criteria to rank each vendor. The committee determines the costs of the
capital required, and the total cost of ownership including implementation and support costs. Finally,
the committee creates a summary report with a list of the recommendations and a ranking of vendors

The Japanese Political System
From the Meiji Restoration era, democratization efforts were undertaken to modernize Japan. A
bicameral system of legislature as well as local, though unelected assemblies were created in the
image of the Prussian model (Haddad, 2012, p. 50) and a Constitution placing absolute power with the
monarch was formed. Although the main intention of the oligarchs behind the Constitution was to
have the national Diet as an advisory body, they created a series of transcendental cabinets which
answered to the Emperor (Haddad, 2012, p. 50), Bureaucrats were important tools during this period

The Pros And Cons Of BREXIT
A vote to leave the EU would start a long and complicated process that would result in a fundamental
change in the UK s relationship with other members of the EU. There are pros and cons should
BREXIT were to follow through. At present, there s a lot of uncertainty surrounding BREXIT, what is
certain is that there will be an increase in restrictions and introduction of political borders should
BREXIT were to happen which will result in an increase in cost of trade and services. EU remains the
largest market for Britain s exports, constituting 40 45% of its exports. As such, UK s primary goal
would likely to retain access to the EU s internal market, but in all likelihood it would be difficult to
gain liberal trade terms from the EU if BREXIT

Child Dance Research Paper
Seventeen years is a long time, either from the Euro officially was recognized to currently United
Kingdom was out of the European Union or a baby was giggling for peek a boos to be a seventeen
years old young lady right now. This is the time magic. We did not even aware how many days and
nights had already passed, while things around us changed smoothly. This is a story about changing
and growth through dancing.
When I was still an 11 year old innocent girl, did not even know about the Hip Hop. The first time
when I saw a girl dance was on the way to trip on my Grade six. A stage outside, with boys ironically
sniggering, as the rhythms bombed around, a girl was rolling and waving with powerful strength. I felt
the spotlights from the whole worlds focused on her. She was sparkling like a superstar ever. I was
fully engaged in her performance and the embryo of learning hip pops started to spread out.
When coming back home, I asked my mother had a favor. Mama, can I learn ... Show more content on

It worked obviously but apparently not enough. My dancing teacher reminded me, Honey, a nice

realized. I used to be pay attention too much about the single circling, stretching and flipping but
ignored the story of the whole dancing, I should melt myself into the whole dancing story, seemed like
I really engaged and underwent. When the familiar rhythm again went up, I imaged I was the
character in the story of the rhythm. For each circling, each stretching, and each flipping, I was trying
to have a conversation with dancing soul, used my heart to feel the story in this dance, and expressed
my unique feelings with my body languages and eyes. When the final pose was done, through the
mirror, I saw another Peizhi inside, more persistent

What Are Death Camps Like In The Holocaust
Death Camps Have you ever wondered what the death camps were like in the holocaust? When all of
the jews and enemies suffered at the camps. They starved, beating, worked to death, and killed. The
holocaust was a awful time for jews and the enemies. Families were split apart and never seen again,
men worked hard labor in the camps, mothers lost their children from deaths or just taking away. You
were probably wondering what they did at the death camps and what happened in the camps? There
were six major death camps, Aishwitz, Birkenav, Chelmna, Sobibor, Treblinka, and Warsaw. Jews
weren t the only victims in the camps, there were also Gypsy people, and enemies. Only 7,650 jews
survived when the camps closed, and hundreds of millions died a day. All of this took place in the
death camps. Jews, Gypsy, and enemies went to suffer everyday. And ... Show more content on

found millions of dollars and coins, which they kept for themselves. The very first killing at the death

What Is The Brand Image In Hotel
Critically evaluate the role of the brand in International hospitality management
In the international hospitality, the brand is one of the important things in the marketing. The brand is
a name, term, sign, symbol, or design, or a combination of them, intended to identify the goods or
services of one seller or group of seller and to differentiate them from those of competitors (Lisa,
2000; American Marketing Association, 1960) and it is a unique thing in the company and business. It
is maybe important on the role of the brand in international hospitality, the brand can make a brand
loyalty for customer, the brand image can give a great impression, but if the brand has many brand
extension, it will let the customer forget the original brand. In this essay, it will explain each
advantages and disadvantages of the role of the brand that how to affect in the international
hospitality.
The first role of the brand is brand image. The brand image is defined as the consumer memory hide in
the brand perception (Keller, 1993). It is mean how the customers see and the impression of the brand.

(Jing, Andrew and Sheau, 2013; Reichheld, 1996). This loyalty can attract customer re buy and re
patronize the same brand product again, no matter of convenience or price. The brand loyalty is very
important of the brand and company, it is because when the customer decision to buy this brand, they
will often loyalty to that brand, keep buying on future, recommend to friends and choose this product
to others, even other brand have more better features or lower price (Assael, 1991). So if no customers

The Attack On Kaspersky Lab
In February 2014, there was a multi bank cyber heist which was discovered by Kaspersky Lab.
According to the report, the hackers infiltrated banks network system using tactics such as phishing to
gain access to sensitive data which was used to siphon money from banks. It was reported that, the
cybercriminal ring, known as Carbanak, siphoned more than $1 billion from banks around the world
(Kuranda). According to other sources, the criminals were not arrested and there were reports of
attempted attacked to other financial institution. So, the information technology security experts are on
high alert to prevent future attacks. The discovery of the attack on Kaspersky lab, which was named
Duqu 2.0 , revealed a major threat to the information technology system (Kuranda). Kaspersky Lab is
Moscow based security vendor which provide data security system to many organization around the
globe. So, such breach means a major threat to banks as well.
Again, the hacking of JP Morgan/Chase which was published in the New York Times was a major
blow to the financial institution. It was highlighted that the consumers lost confidence on safety of the
online banking system because the attack affected small and big accounts. In this case, the JP Morgan
Chase Bank data breach affected accounts of seventy six million households and seven million small
businesses (Silver Greenberg, Goldstein, and Perlroth). Even the Chief Executive of the bank, Jamie

Graphene, which is the most recent material of the carbongroup, is considered as one of the greatest
smart materials ofthe 21stcentury. Graphene and graphene based composites show numerous potential
applications owing to their distinctivetwo dimensional assembly and related band structure.
Graphenehas gained attention of many scientists since its innovation due to its exceptional large
surface area (2630 m2g_1),[11] high electrical conductivity at room temperature[12,13](106 s cm 1),
good mechanical properties (~1.1 TPa), fracturestrength[14] (125 GPa), breaking strength[15] (42 N

magnetism,and chemical stability[1]. B
Graphene and its compositesare widely used in sensors, transistors, electronics, compositematerials,
photonics, bioengineering, energy production, and storage. Pure graphene is hydrophobic in nature
and cannotbe dispersed in aqueous solutions [19], therefore this factor limitsits application in water
purification. Chemically converted graphene, namely graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide, can

The Odd One Out
On the most famous street in Boston, Newbury, there lays two architectural opposites just across from
one another. The Church of the Covenants a great historical church built in a gothic architectural style
where you would see historians, tour guides or school field trips and a Victoria Secret store that covers
an entire block and is build on the bases of modern architecture where friends and family would go
shopping or for a day out. Why would there be such ancient architecture at a modern vibrant shopping
district such a Newbury? The Church of the Covenants was built in 1867 and the decision to surround
such a historic artifact with a shopping district was done purposefully. The Church when seen seems
very out of place in a street such as Newbury, however, the two polar opposite architectural
masterpieces reflect the diversity of Newbury Street, and as to why it is referred to the time square of
Boston. The different architecture invites different types of people to such a vibrant street making it
not only a tourist attraction but also a street where people from all different demographics come.
The presence of the Convent Church cannot be ignored by anyone when they walk on Newbury Street.
I found it to be very interesting how nothing near the church was taller than it. The architecture of the
street made it so that the all the surrounding shops will be lower and if you looked up you would only

Media’s Blow on Anorexia
Media s Blow on Anorexia About one in 200 persons in the United States will develop anorexia
nervosa at some time. Ninety Percent are women (Anorexia Nervosa Part 1 1). Anorexia is defined as
an emotional disorder characterized by refusing to diet or eat. This is targeting young girls all across
the world! This calamity is struck by something every person loves, social media. The media realm
needs to be ceased from the websites that support dieting, celebrities displaying perfectionist bodies,

disorders and anorexia. The opposing side to this topic says that media does not play a role in anorexia
because of environmental factors, exercising, and dieting. People that support this side like Adam
Cresswell and Sarrah Le Marquand state that anorexia is not caused by society or the media world.
Cresswell states Eating disorders are a product of epigenetics is good news for parents and carers, who

the actual fact that if a young teen is suffering from anorexia, then the parents should be worried about
their child and get that child help. No child or adult should have to suffer from such disease. Cresswell
also states These can be early life pressures, stress, and ultimately dieting, he says. For some people,
dieting can be really dangerous behavior. The reduction in certain nutrients can alter gene expression
(Cresswell 1 2). Cresswell is right about how dangerous dieting can be, because it is, but television

different dieting options, and these are examples of how media pushes some people that live in this

Descartes Certainty
Descartes wish to do this and that is, to guard against everything that creeps in his mind, to suspend all
his judgement, and sets out to look or find something that lies beyond all doubt because he wants to
discredit or to prove false of the notion that nothing can be known with certainty in order to begin by
presupposing nothing and by taking nothing for granted.
In my own opinion, I strongly consider his reason for doing this as reasonable because its intention is
to create a body of knowledge, and Descartes never intended to set aside all of his opinions but just
cast doubts on this opinions that are based on some preconceived notion so he will be able to stand
back in order to see the truth in itself.
I consider Descartes epistemological project important because it is extremely important to conduct
our own investigation to the warrant for what we believe by means of doubting everything until we
find anything certain or until it has been shown to be an acceptable belief for us. How can we acquire
knowledge of truth without certainty? That is why it is important that we should not believe in
anything that we cannot be certain of.
The conclusions that Descartes draw from this testimony ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

fully awake. In order to establish that someone is not dreaming, suppose he is given a test that he can

performed could be the case that someone is merely dreaming in performing that test. I think that
Descartes reasoning about this is correct because anything that we can experience when we are awake,
we can also experience or perform it in our dreams, so giving someone a test cannot serve as a
guarantee of authenticity of the test that determine whether or not he is

9. Outline the role of electrodes in the electron gun, the deflection plates or coils and the fluorescent
screen in the cathode ray tube of conventional TV displays and oscilloscopes.
CATHODE RAY TUBE:
 Electron Gun used to produce fast moving streams of electrons. o The electrodes have two roles: 1)
emit electrons to form a stream 2) accelerate the electrons (accomplished by a very large potential
difference between the cathode and anode) o The anode has a hole in it to allow the stream of
electrons to leave the electron gun.
 Deflection system used to change the direction of the electron stream o For the electron beam to
create an image on the screen, the beam must sweep over the screen rapidly.
 This is accomplished by the deflection plates that guide the electron bean to particular parts of the
screen.
 Fluorescent Screen coated in phosphorus that emits light when struck by the electrons. o This
makes the position of the electron beam visible.

Benjamin Disraeli s Consolidation Of Political Power
For centuries countries around the world have fought over which political party would benefit their
countries the most. In Europe, during the nineteenth century Benjamin Disraeli and William Gladstone
stole the stage in trying to transform the government that would benefit society. Gladstone and
Disraeli both explored the conservative and liberal parties, but in the end they remained with the party
and beliefs that suited them the most. Although they both faced many challenges with the economy,
they overcame a majority of them through reforms and building a strong political structure. All over

He began as a liberal, but Disraeli became quickly mainly motivated by the power to win over the new
group of the conservative party. Originally, Robert Peel created the conservative party, but when it
failed, Disraeli took over becoming the leader. His main reform was the Reform Act of 1867, which
became a major step toward the rebuilding of the system in Britain. This reform decreased the
monetary requirements for voting, but it was still based on land qualifications, and increased the
amount of individuals voting from one million to two million people.
Disraeli believed this reform would appeal to the working classes and eventually benefit the
conservative party. He was highly motivated by winning, but he was extremely flexible in handling
parliamentary reform and structuring a strong political system that worked. Disraeli s political party
was successful, but he did not instill a lot of reform into society to help society out tremendously.
Many of his beliefs are still permanent beliefs in the conservative party today, such as supporting the

Superman s Real Hero Essay
British actor Michael Caine was quoted in the edition of Entertainment Weekly as saying Superman is
the way America sees itself, but Batman is the way the world sees America. Although these two
characters are classic comic book heroes they have also become the face of America and how it has
evolved over the many years. After analyzing the two articles Superman s real identity: America s
everyman by Gloria Goodale and Batman s War on Terror by Benjamin Kerstein, Michael Caine is
declaring that America s role in the world is subjected to different viewpoints of its people and their
values.
Superman is not only a classic American superhero but also a representation of the nation itself. His
characteristics reflect his identity and shape ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, Superman does differ from most people in America as he strays away from involving
himself in any politics and focuses on the idea that his values are above mere politicians (Goodale).
Although as a young kid, he was just a superthug he grew to be the familiar role model that stands for
the nation and not for politics or anything that can divide the people of the United States (Goodale).
Even though Superman is just a comic book character to some, he was created in the essence of
America and has evolved over the years with the nations gains and losses. Not only does Superman
focus on the representation of America but specially the view point of the country and how it sees
itself. Because he was created as an outsider he relates to the country in that it is a nation of
immigrants and follows the American values of truth, liberty, and justice that are given in the
constitution unlike any other country (Goodale). Just like Superman, America has a dual identity.
However, Americas dual identity is between its fundamentals of freedom, that it was built on, and its
new role as the world s sole superpower (Goodale). America is by far the youngest country and has
moved its way to the top very quickly which has made a huge impact on the society that lives in it.
Americans tend to see themselves with this confidence that resembles the success of the country and
embodies a patriotic respect for their nation. It

Ain T Hard To Tell Poem Analysis
1. It Ain t Hard to Tell by Nas is most useful than the other lyrics. My poetry s deep, I never fail Nas
raps should be locked in a cell, it ain t hard to tell the underlined words are an example of how Nas
used internal rhyme. I freak beats which is a metaphor because Nas used the word freak to mean
something else for a dramatic effect. Packing like a Rasta in a weed spot is cultural nationalism.
Numerous people know that Ratas are known for smoking weed. 2. Internal rhyming allows for the
rapper lyrics to flow and come out with ease/smoothness. Cultural Nationalism is important because
the rapper has to reach the audience that they are targeting. When the audience hears the lyrics they
can relate culturally what the artist is saying.

Sports of the Renaissance Essay
James Naismith, creator of basketball, used a soccer ball as the first basketball. The game of soccer
was originally played with an inflated animal bladder that was surrounded with leather (Leibs 67). Just
as in every sport, as time evolves, so do the materials being played with. The materials begin
becoming more durable, controllable, and affordable. During the Renaissance period, many sports
were evolved and took a turn for the better. Although many sports were introduced during the
Renaissance period; football, lawn bowling, and tennis were the three main sports that influenced
today s time period the most. The Renaissance period was a time of change and rebirth. During this
period, the rise of the Middle Class occurred. With the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As time evolved, the ball was eventually made out of a leather material. With this leather material, the
ball became more durable and controllable. The rules back in the Renaissance were way different than
the rules today. During the Renaissance, the game was commonly played between two streets, 27 men
played on each side, and there were no strict rules or penalties. These rules impacted today s in many
different ways. Today, a field is 100 yards long and 60 yards wide. There are only 11 players on each
team, and there are many strict rules. If it were not for the Renaissance period, Soccer would have
never evolved into the great sport that many people love today. Many people enjoyed this sport during
the Renaissance, which led to the popularity of the sport today. Soccer is probably the most popular
sport in the world, though it is most popular in European, African, and Latin American nations (
Soccer ). Just like soccer, another sport that greatly influenced the modern day was Lawn Bowling.
Lawn Bowling, also known as Bowls, influenced today s modern sport called Bocce Ball. Bowls
originated from the Romans and Descended from the universal pastime of throwing rocks or pebbles
at targets on the ground (Leibs 73). By the beginning of the Renaissance, this sport was popular
among all classes of society. Some popular equipment that was used in the game was weighted balls,
the jack, and the Trigg. Each player had four wooden balls, with a

Examples Of Chaos And Complexity Theory
D. What are chaos and complexity theories? how might they help us do better sociology, or at least
help us have more realistic understanding of what is possible in sociology? Chaos theory can be seen
in the butterfly effect, where a small little butterfly in the States that flaps its wings and changes the
weather somewhere far away like China. The butterfly effect shows that small changes can have
massive impacts in the world. For most people it is hard for them to think that a butterfly has so much
influence, there are many other examples. Chaos can be seen in this example, where someone forgets
their car keys and runs back to get them, which results in them not hitting the deer on the road (Gleick
1987). Complexity theory states that structures are complex but that there is some form of general
rules. Complexity theory is a part of chaos theory which is shown in the quote, chaos theory and its
spin off, complexity theory, argue that relationships in complex systems, like organizations, are
nonlinear, made of interconnections and branching choices that produce unintended consequences and
render the universe unpredictable, (Tetenbaum 1998:1). Chaos and complexity theory can influence
sociologist to go back and study system that were previously untouched. An example of chaos and
complexity theory is the economy. The economy is very complex with many moving parts and actors.
The economy is filled with people selling and buying goods at fast rates. These moving parts are

Phonics
Phonics seems to play an essential role in pronunciation skills in young learners. The recognition of
phonic sounds helps with language acquisition, pronunciation and development of other skills like
reading, spelling and writing. Training the young learner s ear to recognize the phonic sounds is the
first step towards good pronunciation, comprehension, memory recall and fluency. Therefore, there are
really only two basic steps to learning a language: Master the perception and production of the sounds
and attach meanings to these sounds (Ness, 2012). Keywords: Phonics, pronunciation, language
acquisition. The Importance of Phonics in Teaching English Pronunciation to Young Learners There is
a common misunderstanding about the importance of pronunciation and language. Many people think
of language as being all about words and the grammatical structures and rules that contain them. But
in fact, language is about sounds and the meanings attached to them (Ness, 2012). Pronunciation is not
just important for language output, but also decoding and recognizing speech that is heard. While
attention is given to the correct pronunciation of words, there also needs to be attention on listening
skills. Sounds and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

are 26 letters in the English alphabet, but, there are at least 55 sounds. Most are written by combining
letters in different ways. In schools throughout the English speaking world, it is used to help students
learn to read and spell quickly. By learning the relationship between the letters and their respective
sounds, the children use these skills to work out how to read and pronounce the words they see. It also
helps them to guess how to spell most words. This greatly increases the speed of learning. The focus

Born Poor And Smart By Angela Locke
In chapter sixteen, Social Class and Inequality the essays show different cases in which being rich,
poor, smart or middle class can affect a person. In the writings of Angela Locke in Born Poor and
Smart (338 339) Angela summarizes her life of what it was like growing up with a poor, yet smart
mother. However, in When Shelter Feels like a Prison (374 376) Charmion Browne writes about being
poor, and living in homeless shelters. Somethings in life, are no more than learning experiences, and
only you can change it. First off, lets discuss the essay of Angela Locke. Angela grew up in a
household that was poor. Her mother worked at the E Z Bargain Center. When not working there she
spent her time picking up after her four kids, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Being left feeling like she had no place and that she belonged nowhere. Something that Angela battles
with until the present time is feeling the privelage that can distinguish her from the rich and the poor.
Wealthy people never question their worth. They don t seem like they need to since they were brought
up with a golden spoon in their mouth, they feel as if they are better than people. However, in my
opinion someone like Angela Locke is the one that shouldn t question her worth. She is the one who
rose up against the odds and made something of herself and wasn t handed everything in life. Class
relations isn t only about having a monetary value. It also can be about having a relationship to
success. Angela says that My definition of success has something to do with money, but everything to
do with class. (339) To break that statement down, she doesn t feel that she needs to only be rich, but
have more class and social standing. However I don t think that someone should compare themselves
to another person. Just because one person is more successful than another, it doesn t always mean
they earned it like the one that worked their way up from nothing. The person that works their way up
has way more class in my opinion because they know what it s like to be at the bottom, and the ones
that come from wealth never have known that feeling. In a different, yet similar perspective Charmion
Browne discusses what it is like growing up in homeless

The Act Of Speaking And Communication In Hush In Buffy The...
The act of speaking and communicating are two very distinct actions. It is a common misconception
that the only way to communicate with someone is by verbally speaking to them; but how would
people communicate if one lost the ability to speak? The episode Hush in Buffy the Vampire Slayer an
Emmy nominated series displays the relationship between talking and communicating, when evil
creatures called The Gentlemen steal the voices of the citizens of Sunnydale. Buffy and her friends
finds ways to communicate better than when they had their voices. In the episode Hush , when Buffy
and her friends lose their voices and the ability to talk to each other, they are able to resolve their
issues and, ironically, communicate best when they cannot speak. Buffy and her love interest Riley are
able to better communicate with each other after they lose their voices. Throughout the episode, it is
evident that Buffy and Riley like each other but are struggling to find a way to express and act on their
emotions. This in part is due to the fact that both of these characters have a secret, double identity that
they are keeping hidden from each other. Buffy is a vampire slayer and Riley is a covert operative for
the United States military. They both help keep the town of Sunnydale safe from any harmful threats.
Furthermore, attempting to be honest about their feelings, while also keeping such a tremendous part
of their lives concealed from each other, has both of them struggling to find

Reflection On Aristotle s View Of God
Aristotle gives two different accounts of God in his writings Physics and Metaphysics. Although the
two accounts differ in purpose, the first giving proof that God is the first mover, unmoved who
initiates motion in the universe and the second that God is the final cause at which all things aim. In a
survey of the two doctrines, it is evident that the two accounts are not incompatible, but rather provide
a more comprehensive and convincing argument for God.
In Physics 8.6, Aristotle gives an argument for the existence of God. He sets the foundation of his
argument on what is familiar to common experience the observation of motion. Each movement has a
cause, or source of its motion. Is this principle of motion intrinsic to the objects moved? Is it a
principle of movement exterior to the object that is moved that is the source of movement? Aristotle
addresses these inquiries and makes the argument that God is the first and fundamental source of
motion and change.
Aristotle begins his argument for God as an unchanging first mover unmoved on a concept established
in an earlier section of the Physics: that motion is necessary and unceasing. This unceasing movement
requires an object that imparts this motion, an object that is unmoved and unchanging. But, Aristotle
notes, there are many objects that possess within themselves a principle of self movement. However,
these objects pass in and out of existence and their movement is not necessary. The ultimate source of
movement cannot be something that comes into and passes out of existence, for this would include it
in objects subject to change that gain their principle of change from a source exterior to themselves.
In addition, the fact that these objects change from states of activity and rest indicates that their
movement is accidental, rather than necessary and essential. Although these things do cause
movement in other things, what is potential need not be, and motion is necessary and uninterrupted.
Therefore, these objects that appear to possess self movement cannot be the source of eternal,
necessary motion, as there cannot be more in the effects than in the source of those effects. As a result,
Aristotle claims that there must necessarily be something...

  • 2. Reflection On Micro Teaching This essay will analyse and highlight on the fifteen minute micro teaching reflection that is vital for the self evaluation and professional development of my teaching practice. It will further identify my strengths and weaknesses through my peer assessment and reflect on the teaching and learning theories, methods and strategies that are linked and practiced in my micro teach. According to the teachers standards (DfE, 2012) teachers make the education of their learners their first concern, keep their knowledge up to date and are self critical. Therefore, this reflection practice will guide me towards the improvement on my lesson planning strategies and delivery. In addition, it will also make an enormous difference in my teaching and learning practice which is vital for teacher training. One of the significant part of this course is micro teaching session, in this session we are required to deliver fifteen minute planned lesson containing learning outcome. Furthermore, this session was recorded and observed by the peers to evaluate. Due to my interest in ESOL I decided to deliver my session on Boogle Puzzle to embed a simple literacy/numeracy activity aims to target ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) learners. In this task, pupils are given activity to make seven ten words in the English language from the word grid to improve word recognition and spellings. Based on reflection of my micro teaching I provided learners with the basic instructions on Boggle puzzle and opted for potential instruction strategy. I used present, practice and produce strategy (English language resource, 2017) to allow pupils to practice and learn new vocabulary in co operative way. Similarly, I used co operative learning method to encourage pupils to learn from each other and gain interpersonal skills. According to Johnson and Johnson (1995) co operative learning method have proven effective in increasing motivation, self esteem and problem solving. Thus, to enhance inter dependency, the class was divided into two main groups of fours and were further divided into pairs, to finish their task. According to Mercer (1985) effective communication is as cognitive and social development are intertwined, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Information systems include electronic medical record and electronic health records, computerized provider order entry systems, medication administration systems, telemedicine, telehealth, e prescribing, and personal health records (Wager, Lee, amp; Glaser, 2009). According to Rahimi (2011), In general, regular and open communication between designers and users allows for the understanding of user preferences, their needs, their problems, and confusions (para. 5). If the outside vendors cannot provide a system that meets the requirements, the committee will explore other options. The committee may chose to leverage someone else s infrastructure (by contracting with an application service provider) or they build the application (by contracting with a system developer or using in house staff) (Wager, 2009, p. 156). Last Steps The next step in the committee s process is reviewing the proposals from outside vendors. During this process, the committee develops evaluation criteria, grading scales for evaluating vendor responses to RFP and RFI. The committee then views vendor demonstrations, checks references, and visits sites running the same or similar IS. After the evaluations, the committee prepares vendor analysis describing the results from each vendor, whether the vendor s ideas are aligned with the organization s goals, and comparing the data. This information is then used to conduct a cost benefit analysis using the previously developed grading criteria to rank each vendor. The committee determines the costs of the capital required, and the total cost of ownership including implementation and support costs. Finally, the committee creates a summary report with a list of the recommendations and a ranking of vendors ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A bicameral system of legislature as well as local, though unelected assemblies were created in the image of the Prussian model (Haddad, 2012, p. 50) and a Constitution placing absolute power with the monarch was formed. Although the main intention of the oligarchs behind the Constitution was to have the national Diet as an advisory body, they created a series of transcendental cabinets which answered to the Emperor (Haddad, 2012, p. 50), Bureaucrats were important tools during this period as they were the people with the knowledge necessary to enable the country to function. .... There are pros and cons should BREXIT were to follow through. At present, there s a lot of uncertainty surrounding BREXIT, what is certain is that there will be an increase in restrictions and introduction of political borders should BREXIT were to happen which will result in an increase in cost of trade and services. Child Dance Research Paper Seventeen years is a long time, either from the Euro officially was recognized to currently United Kingdom was out of the European Union or a baby was giggling for peek a boos to be a seventeen years old young lady right now. This is the time magic. We did not even aware how many days and nights had already passed, while things around us changed smoothly. This is a story about changing and growth through dancing. When I was still an 11 year old innocent girl, did not even know about the Hip Hop. The first time when I saw a girl dance was on the way to trip on my Grade six. A stage outside, with boys ironically sniggering, as the rhythms bombed around, a girl was rolling and waving with powerful strength. I felt the spotlights from the whole worlds focused on her. • 14. Summary Of The Odd One Out Sarthak Chawla Nathanial Hodes Composition 16th September The Odd One Out On the most famous street in Boston, Newbury, there lays two architectural opposites just across from one another. The Church of the Covenants a great historical church built in a gothic architectural style where you would see historians, tour guides or school field trips and a Victoria Secret store that covers an entire block and is build on the bases of modern architecture where friends and family would go shopping or for a day out. Why would there be such ancient architecture at a modern vibrant shopping district such a Newbury? The Church of the Covenants was built in 1867 and the decision to surround such a historic artifact with a shopping district was done purposefully. The Church when seen seems very out of place in a street such as Newbury, however, the two polar opposite architectural masterpieces reflect the diversity of Newbury Street, and as to why it is referred to the time square of Boston. The different architecture invites different types of people to such a vibrant street making it not only a tourist attraction but also a street where people from all different demographics come. The presence of the Convent Church cannot be ignored by anyone when they walk on Newbury Street. I found it to be very interesting how nothing near the church was taller than it. Descartes Certainty Descartes wish to do this and that is, to guard against everything that creeps in his mind, to suspend all his judgement, and sets out to look or find something that lies beyond all doubt because he wants to discredit or to prove false of the notion that nothing can be known with certainty in order to begin by presupposing nothing and by taking nothing for granted. In my own opinion, I strongly consider his reason for doing this as reasonable because its intention is to create a body of knowledge, and Descartes never intended to set aside all of his opinions but just cast doubts on this opinions that are based on some preconceived notion so he will be able to stand back in order to see the truth in itself. I consider Descartes epistemological project important because it is extremely important to conduct our own investigation to the warrant for what we believe by means of doubting everything until we find anything certain or until it has been shown to be an acceptable belief for us. How can we acquire knowledge of truth without certainty? That is why it is important that we should not believe in anything that we cannot be certain of. Chaos theory can be seen in the butterfly effect, where a small little butterfly in the States that flaps its wings and changes the weather somewhere far away like China. The butterfly effect shows that small changes can have massive impacts in the world. For most people it is hard for them to think that a butterfly has so much influence, there are many other examples. • 29. Reflection On Aristotle s View Of God Aristotle gives two different accounts of God in his writings Physics and Metaphysics. Although the two accounts differ in purpose, the first giving proof that God is the first mover, unmoved who initiates motion in the universe and the second that God is the final cause at which all things aim. In a survey of the two doctrines, it is evident that the two accounts are not incompatible, but rather provide a more comprehensive and convincing argument for God. In Physics 8.6, Aristotle gives an argument for the existence of God. He sets the foundation of his argument on what is familiar to common experience the observation of motion. Each movement has a cause, or source of its motion. Is this principle of motion intrinsic to the objects moved? Is it a principle of movement exterior to the object that is moved that is the source of movement? Aristotle addresses these inquiries and makes the argument that God is the first and fundamental source of motion and change. Aristotle begins his argument for God as an unchanging first mover unmoved on a concept established in an earlier section of the Physics: that motion is necessary and unceasing. This unceasing movement requires an object that imparts this motion, an object that is unmoved and unchanging. But, Aristotle notes, there are many objects that possess within themselves a principle of self movement. However, these objects pass in and out of existence and their movement is not necessary. The ultimate source of movement cannot be something that comes into and passes out of existence, for this would include it in objects subject to change that gain their principle of change from a source exterior to themselves. In addition, the fact that these objects change from states of activity and rest indicates that their movement is accidental, rather than necessary and essential. Although these things do cause movement in other things, what is potential need not be, and motion is necessary and uninterrupted. Therefore, these objects that appear to possess self movement cannot be the source of eternal, necessary motion, as there cannot be more in the effects than in the source of those effects. As a result, Aristotle claims that there must necessarily be something... ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
