The document describes the process of creating a movie poster. The creator first chose a dark but vivid background color. Next, they added a futuristic soldier character in the center to make the poster look modern. They also included an urban city landscape in the background to seem futuristic. Smoke effects were added by placing a smoke image layer at the top to represent buildings being destroyed. Finally, they chose a strong font and used the title "THE EMPIRE" in a traditional imperial red color.

2. Process
• The first step I took was coming up
with a colour for my background, I
needed to come up with a colour
that was dark but vivid as well.
• I had to make it so it would blend in
with a darkened room but stand out
with the other added details later
added.
• I was happy with how this came out
since it shows a good amount of
depth and is good how all the other
things, images blend in with the
background.

3. Process
• The next thing I did was add my
character that I found on Google
images for “futuristic soldier” this
resulted in a lot of concept art from
soldiers in games like Halo or the
star wars series.
• I am happy with the outcome of the
characters involvement in the
poster. It makes the poster look
more modern as most posters now
have the main character on the front
cover. Or main image of the game,
movie, TV show.
• Apart from that it blends in with the
background colours.

4. Process
• The third thing I moved on to was
the city landscape. I knew I wanted
an urban city image in the
background to make it look as
modern as possible.
• The background was a darker black
so the buildings stood out more but
I turned the background brightness
down so it was blended in with the
poster’s background.
• I also had to stretch the image to be
taller to make it more realistic to the
situation of sizes.

5. Process
• The next thing I worked on was the
smoke effect, for this I had to find a
smoke image.
• When I did find the best image for
the poster I turned the brightness
down as it had a black background
so it would only reveal the
backgrounds colour.
• Then I thought of where I could
place the image layer. I first thought
of putting it on the side as if an
explosion just blew up. Like a
grenade or tactical weapon. I
thought that putting it on the top of
the poster would make it represent
smoke from a buildings destruction.

6. Process
• The finale thing I did was think of
the font for my text to use on my
poster. I searched the internet on
font finder and other websites until
I found the font I used. The font had
a certain strong and united feel to
it. and kid of traditional.
• I added the font then I came up
with the name “THE EMPIRE” this is
a good and unique name to a game
compared to most like modern
warfare and others like that.
• Then I looked for classic dominant
and strong colors. When I found
this shade of red I had to use it. As
it was a traditional imperial color
used throughout history.
