The third order fracture distribution is strongly dependent on the lithofacies architecture, especially

Relationships between fracture stratigraphy and stratigraphic fracture development controls for
different scale ranges as formalized in the hierarchical fracture model for the Petra case study can be
used to provide constraints for nested fractured reservoir models. This methodology can help
determine an appropriate homogenization scale for geo cellular fracture models, improve the
prediction of the discrete sub seismic fracture distribution compared to conventional down scaling
techniques and improve the constraints of stratigraphic control on wellbore up scaling. This
procedure becomes increasingly more powerful when combined with the effects of other important
development controls, such as the influence of active faults on fracture development.

I was thinking about making a spicy chocolate syrup to play off of the small amount of cocoa

Inferno by Dante Alighieri is beautifully woven to reflect the realities or unrealities of the time.
The various circles of hell are used by the Florentine writer Dante, to tell the tale in a structured
and elaborate manner, with the use of nine circles of the Inferno (Havely, 374). Interesting,
however, is the manner in which Dante describes the characters, as they are seen to be facing
tragedies in their life in hell. The author of this medieval text categorizes the different types of sins
that people can commit and subjects the characters to various punishments; each is in a separate
circle in hell. Lawall opines that the writer uses a style that makes the reader envision themselves in
the poem (Lawall, 17). The infamous guide of Dante the character is none other than Virgilthe poet,
and being born before the time of Christ, places him in the category of a virtuous pagan , who is in
a matter of speaking, lost and without hope in Inferno, but not without safety that the author

tenant. People from middle and lower income brackets tend to benefit from rent control, while

The Open Boat is a short story written by Steven Crane about four men stranded on a dinghy after
their boat had sunk over night. The men were struggling to stay alive because it seemed as if they
had no hope for survival. The four stranded shipmen were a correspondent, an oiler, a cook, and a
captain. The theme of the story is that man has no control over his destinies and that nature controls
everything. Naturalist themes prevail in Stephen Crane s The Open Boat as it demonstrates naturalist

The men came to the conclusion that fate must be the reason that they are experiencing this
deathly situation. It is the understanding of this fact that brings the men to the edge of their
misery. At this point the men feel like their lives are coming to an end, so much so that they even
ask the captain if they have a chance at survival, to which the captain replies If this wind holds
and the boat don t swamp, we can t do much else. This quote shows the uselessness that the men
feel, but it also makes apparent there is still a possibility of hope.
Steven Crane really emphasizes the uselessness and the hopelessness they feel against the universe,

name of the seven mad gods who rule the sea, was I allowed to come thus far and contemplate
sand and trees? Was I brought here merely to have my nose dragged away as I was about to

land yet are too far to even make the effort to swim. How could the universe be so unfair that it
would let them have a small taste or nibble of the sacred cheese of life at surviving? They had
been through a drastic environment to get to where they are. If the universe cared about them at
