- 2. Style sheet- colour For the magazine, I am going to be using a darker shade of colours. These colours will be used on the background of each page, this is to allow the images that I use to stand out more, I have also decided to use dark colours as that was a popular choice on my survey and will appeal to more people.
- 3. Style sheet- images The images I have chosen show the type of content that I shall show. For my first image I will be showing a few night pictures of light bending from a car by lowing the shutter speed. Second I shall create a time line of an image that I have edited and show a screenshot of each process and write about it. Final I shall be showing different images and writing about the different settings used E.G shutter speed and exposure.
- 4. Style sheet- Fonts The images I have chosen show the type of fonts that I shall show. I feel that the majority of these are perfect as the are clear to read. I will be wanting something more unique and this stands out. The text will help to target it to the reader.
- 5. Front Cover Layout For the layout I want to try add lots of buzz words on the front to draw the audience in. By adding lots of buzz on the front, I wont use as many in the actual magazine as that will make it more professional. I will add a promotion and give away at the top, this will be slightly covered by the logo and magazine name. I will add three cover lines. These will say a little bit about the articles inside. The first two will be on the main page to be more on view and the last one will be at the bottom. I will have one large image that will cover the whole front as this will draw the audience in. In the middle I want a shape with a tip/ advice which will draw the reader in more to buy it. Finally at the bottom I will have a little tease picture which will promote the writing in cover line three. In the right corner I will have the barcode and pricing and what issue it is, so that the audience knows when it was released.
- 6. Double Page Layout In this double page spread I will make a image that will cover the right page. This will be and image with an effect on it. I will add a text box in an area where is darker or isn't as important as this text will cover part of the image. On the left page I will include a main title of what the page will talk about. I will have two long columns saying how this image was created. These columns will be broken into by an image/ screenshot of a key stage of the editing of the image to the right. Finally I will have a background color that fits in well with both pages.Z
- 7. Double Page Layout In the second double page spread I will also have one main image that will be in the full top half of the left page and a little bit of the right page. This will help the page flow together. On the left page I will have the main title going across the main image on an area that is less important. In the lower half of the left page I will include 3 text boxes to talk about the main image and say how it was made and effects that where used. I will also include a oval image of a key part of the process. This image will split up the page and text boxes a little. On the right page I have the main image run onto It a little. In the corner of the image I will have a text box saying where/when it was taken. in the top half in of the page there will be two side images where there has been some quick effects added to them that the audience can do quickly, these images will have a text box about them underneath. Finally I have added two ovals. The one on the left will tell the audience about some of the top camera s that are best to use. The other oval will promote a way to win a camera for free. On both pages I will add a neutral color that wont stand out too much but will look good.
- 8. Content Content How You Could Get It Base image for the cover For the base image I will take it myself and use Photoshop to edit it how I want it. Fonts for the text For some of the writing I will use default text styles. For other parts I will download some fonts from dafonts.com as this will have lots to pick from. logo I will get this from Photoshop as it is a logo that I have made Inside images These will be the main images of the magazine. I will get these myself and edit them to fit my need. Background/small images These will be images that are not as important and haven't had as much work done to it. Shapes/Blocks I will need to get shapes and blocks to put some writing on as this will make it more real BUZZ words I will have words like ‘free’ to stand out to the audience.
- 9. Contingency Planning Potential Issue Solution the computer I use might switch itself off randomly at any point I shall make sure to save regular so make sure that I wont loose lots of work. my camera might run out of battery life and not allow me to get any more photos take a change of battery and make sure they are fully charged. Also take a potable charger to charge everything the SD card might run out of room and not be able to store any more data. make sure there isn’t any junk on the card and take a spare card as back up encase you need more room. I might make mistakes taking the photo and might not be happy with it. I shall take multiple attempts at the image and check if I like it before I move away for the area.
- 10. Health and Safety Potential Issue How will the issue be avoided? Don’t spill food and drink on the computer Take regular breaks so can eat and drink outside the room due to working near cars there is a chance I could get hit. don’t get to close to the cars and keep an eye on your surroundings. Brightness of the computer screen being to high can hurt eyes Turn the brightness of the computer down. As I will also be working in a forest, I could fall over a branch or debris from the trees I shall watch were I am going and be careful of my surroundings. Back pain from sitting down Take regular breaks or get an adjustable chair.
