How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

- 1. Proposal 1 Working Title: Escape the cops What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Product’s Purpose: The product is designed to entertain people and to pass time if waiting for something. What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? Genre: It’s a runner game which entails a thief running away from the police. What sort of product is it Content I will have the background as busy streets and the roads will be the maze channels. At one side of the maze there will be the bank and at the other side there will be the getaway vehicle. The thief will have to evade the police and get to the getaway vehicle in order to pass to the next level. The characters will be a criminal against the police force. What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If so, discuss it here Audience: My audience is: age: 6-16 gender: boy’s social status: children psychographic: after school and bored children. This product will be appealing to customers as it is fun and the game tests how fast your reactions are when having to work out how to get through the maze. Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc Why would your project appeal to this person? Legal & Ethical Considerations: There is no offensive material in the game. I will not as it will not influence children to commit crimes It is not targeting and social groups or anything I will not have any stereo types and other offensive content. I am not going to be using any logos or anything which isn’t original I will make the game my own and it will be an original version of my own. Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
