2. Process
For the magazine I have used tools I will be
using my final product.
Tools such as the magic wand tool. With this I
cut around images and removed there
backgrounds. This is helpful because it allows
you to take images and make them fit in
more, for example I removed the background
from the fish at the top.
I also used the text tool. Because u wanted to
make the name of the magazine myself, so I
typed it out and chose the font. For this
experiment I chose comic sands because I
wanted it to look as professional as possible. I
wanted red to be the colour of the title
because I wanted it to stand out over the
blue, and no other colour does that very well.
I also wanted the text at the bottom to be
black for the same reason. Its not as bright as
the red so peoples eyes aren’t drawn there
first, but the black stands out enough agents
the blue that you can still read it.

3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
In my final product I will use many if not all of the tools I used in the experiments.
Tools such as the magic wand tool and the text tool.
I will use them in a similar way I have here. With the magic wand tool I will use that to
remove backgrounds and I will use the text tool to create a title and mini headlines to
go on the front cover that will draw peoples eyes to the magazine.
