Process
I set up this magazine as an A4
sheet. I used the quick
selection tool to place and
move around my images. I used
the magic wand to get rid of
backgrounds and smooth out
edges that weren’t smooth. I
downloaded a font off of
‘1001fonts’ and resized it and
recoloured it to look how I
wanted where I wanted it. I
cropped photos to the size I
wanted them on my magazine
and then was happy with the
result.
Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I now know what goes on a magazine, and where
to put different things. I also know what each of
these things are called. I will be using the magic
wand tool, to make backgrounds disappear and to
make my magazine look a lot more professional,
and I know what I’m doing now and that’s evident
in my work, and will be even more so in my actual
magazine.
