I used Photoshop to create a pixel art background and characters on separate layers that can move across the background. For my final product, I will include similar characters with pixel art shadows and a more complex background. I also learned to create animations using frame captures in Photoshop, and continue improving my Photoshop skills like artwork quality.

I have learned to use features like colors, boxes, and transformations more effectively in the full product compared to the preliminary task. Specifically, I limited colors to a strict red, white, and black scheme and used "less is more" with effects like gradients. I also improved my use of layout and focus on the interests of the reader rather than just demonstrating skills. Overall, my skills in InDesign and Photoshop as well as my design sense have grown from applying lessons learned in the preliminary task.

- 2. Process The process was simple as I used Adobe Photoshop to create a background using pixel art. I used the pencil tool and inserted a grid to draw on. The background and characters are separate layers so they can be edited to move across the background.
- 3. Reflection • What elements of your experiments will you include in your final product? • In my final product I will use characters similar to these ones and try to effectively create shadows using pixel art. Something that I would change is perhaps design a more complex background. I will also use similar animation as the controls for my final product are fairly straight forward. A new skill I have learned is using frame captures in Photoshop to create a moving animation and even though I have used Photoshop quite a lot recently I am still trying to develop certain skills such as the quality of artwork I produce on there.
