- 1. 2nd Film Poster Creative Process
- 2. Using the paint brush tool, we enhanced our second models make up to give depth and extra effect to the face. Like our first poster, we used black white and grey, using different tones of these colours, different gradients and different opacities.
- 6. Also adding shades to the hair to enhance our effect, we also decided to give the model darker ends to her hair. As in our first film poster, the model has hair that has a gradient into blonde and we reversed this colour scheme for our blonde model. This lets the viewer connect the two characters on a visual level, as they can be perceived as ‘turning into each other’ or being similar, having mutual evil intentions and a shared past.
- 7. Adding the same texture to this image that we used in the first adds direct synergy between the two texts. Then we added the same tag line ‘They’re Coming’ in the same font (Charlemagne Std) and same size (30). We also cropped the image so it correspond more with our first text.
- 8. Adding in the title of our text ‘Malevolence’ to our text, we struggled finding a suitable colour for this image as our model is wearing black (to counter the first model). We settled on dark grey, but may change this in the future. We also made the texture darker, to bring out this colour, as apposed to the previous film poster when the texture was dark grey and the title was black.
- 9. We then added in the same review quote, and star rating. The image is now ready for credits…
