Casablanca, a movie directed by Michael Curtiz, according to many people, is one of the world s best
movies ever produced. The movie had an all star cast, which was considered legendary. The main stars

As the movie progressed, the story became more fascinating and I got a general understanding of what
was going on. There was some comedy in the movie, which was enjoyable. For instance, the bartender
who kept saying he was in love with Rick s girlfriend towards the beginning of the movie was
constantly being turned down. However, the romantic part of this movie wasn t the greatest. Since the
producer had only shown a brief history of their relationship, I felt that there should have been more
chemistry between Rick and Ilsa. She had not seen him since the night she had left him at the train

together. She showed up in his room a few days later to ask for the papers and was going to shoot him,
but couldn t bring herself to do it. Although Ilsa betrayed Rick, he was still willing to do everything
for her even if he didn t show it. The key point of their love was to show the audience that not all love
is loyal. Especially due to distance, it can be hard to maintain a relationship when a person doesn t

Pericles In the performance of Pericles, by Shakespeare, I had the expectation of older costumes and
old english. While there was old english, I still was able to understand what was happening during the
play. The costumes during the performance were more of a modern take to Shakespeare. During the
performance, the actors were very engaged with the audience, used the stage well, and provided
enjoyable music. During the show, the actors were able to keep the show very entertaining by being
engaged with the audience. I thought it was both humorous and entertaining when the actors would get
close to the audience or be humorous by saying lines directly at audience members. During the
performance there was a large sense of action and reaction from the characters to the audience. At
points during the show, the actors would shift from taking the scene very seriously and would make a
joke and the entire audience would laugh. I felt that the actors made the show feel very personal by
keeping the audience engaged by making eye contact and making feel as if they were talking to the

The actors utilized the stage in a practical way and spaced themselves out in an even matter. They
made a balance throughout the stage and I noticed for most of the play the actors made sure they were
spaced correctly. It felt like the actors were able to communicate with their body language as if it was

another post about theatre education. Earlier in the year, I did a few posts on education, including a
quiz about what theatre major to choose in college, out of state schools for theatre, and why it is
important to participate in youth theatre.
Today, I wanted to do a post about the diverse theatre personnel. A lot of time when people think about
theatre, their minds immediately jump to actors, director, producers, costume designers, etc.
Obviously, those jobs are extremely important, but there are other jobs in theatre are essential to the
creation of a successful show.
