How Do Tattoos Affect The Health Care Industry
There has been a recent issue with people smoking and having tattoos in the Health Care
industry. 76% of employees believe tattoos hurt your chances of getting a job interview. Many
people oppose both smoking and tattoos. People are saying if you have tattoos or if you smoke,
you should not even apply. I disagree with this. A job should not be denied to someone just
because of the ink present on their skin or what they put inside of their body. Over the past couple
of decades, tattoos have become very popular. The popularity of tattoos has grown 13% since 2007
and it continues to rise. The percentage of tattooed adults in the United States is 42%. With the rise
and popularity of tattoos, health care professionals should be a lot more lenient

Communication And Interviewing Skills Are Important For...
University Preparation According to Akers and Yahr (2005, p. 1), communication and interviewing
skills are important for entry level accountants. Accountants must gather data, interview employees
of the client s organization, and interact with members of the audit team. Universities, for the most
part, are preparing students to interact and work collaboratively within group settings. Many
courses assign projects which require students to work together culling information for the given
topic, write reports outlining their findings, and then present the results or information to their
respective class. These are sound skills all students need to have in their accounting toolkits, yet, in
many instances their toolkits are still... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Mesa s Fraud and Forensic Accounting and Advanced Fraud and Forensic Accounting course
catalog descriptions include introductions into interviewing as part of the topics covered during
the courses (Colorado Mesa University, 2017). Likewise, MSUD provides students with greater
exposure to interviewing in their courses. MSUD s Fraud Awareness (ACCM 5600) course offers
an overview of interviewing, including a guest lecturer with hands on interviewing experience to
discuss the topic. Additionally, in Sheri Betzer s Legal Elements of Fraud (ACCM 5650) course at
MSUD, not only is class time dedicated to the introduction of interviewing, but the course has a
practical exercise for the students. The practical exercise includes conducting four separate
interviews of individuals related to an accounting litigation scenario. Over the course of those
interviews, not all the individuals contacted are overly cooperative with the student interviewer.
This gives the student a much more realistic view of what may happen when he seeks information

A Little Juicy Tidbit Of Information About Ann And John
Just a little juicy tidbit of information about Ann and John: Ann was married to Alvin, they had
been married for thirteen years with two adorable children. Alvin also worked for Raychem. John
and Ann met when John was hired a few years ago and quickly earned a promotion as Ann s boss.
Attracted to each other from the moment they saw each other, their friendship gradually lured into
an extra marital affair. When Ann met Evie at the Laundromat and discovered that she was the
same nationality as her lover, she felt compelled to offer a helping hand. No matter what Ann s
motivation was, Evie was eternally grateful, notwithstanding that John and Ann often used Mom as

that the value was real, Evie was in ecstasy! Exceeding the sum of their combined salaries, it was

week! What a difference a lucrative job makes! Once Mom established a budget for a realistic
Savings Plan and our day to day living expenses, she called a family meeting to discuss a proposal

Anxiety Research Paper
Anxiety disorders are a mental illness that can be helped with prescription medication or natural
remedies. Anxiety is when a person is unable to relax due to consistently worrying about things,
such as life and judgement of others. Physical symptoms are compulsive sweating, muscle aches,
and headaches. Complementary and alternative medications (CAM) have become an interest to
many of the 6.8 million Americans, who are affected by anxietydisorders. The effect of physical
and behavioral side effects is the main reason why people look into the alternatives. Another factor
is the cost of serotonin specific reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and benzodiazepines. Consequently,
these antidepressants have serious side effects. Studies of using CAM have

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Wetlands
One resource that can be both classified into two totally different categories make the management
of wetlands more difficult. The public want to protect the wetlands for their valueable functions
while privates want to use the wetlands for their direct economic profits. Kohn (1994) suggested
that policymakers and society need to balance private rights to convert land with public benefits
from keeping wetlands inact by compensating wetlandowners or society can regulate conversion of
wetlands. However, the facts that about 82 percent of wetlands are privately owned in US and
there is no clear agreement between private owners and public (Heimlich, et al. 1998) make wetland
protection more complicated and controversy. Valueing wetlands can help visualizing the benefits
of wetlands, however difficult to implement, since values of wetlands are affected by historical
events, technological development and social views. In addition, even when wetlands values are
determined, these values will vary temporaly and spatially, for examples not all wetlands have the
flooding protection values or the recreational values can seasonally change. It is therefore the
problem of institutional arrangement to balance the public benefits (positive externalities of
wetlands) and private interests.

of wetlands conversion the private benefits are bigger than public benefits, in contrast if wetlands
are protected, the public get more benefits than owners. Putting in the historical context, wetland
policies can be divided into two periods: emphasizing private good benefits (1600s mid 1900s),
considering public good benefits (1970 now). Wetlands policies in the US are quite diversity, this

Minor Characters By John Wyndham
Minor characters play an overall important role in the progression of the novel; as this will be
proven by analyzing John Wyndham s book The Chrysalids. Minor characters serve an important
role in this story. They do this by showing the kind of environment Waknuk s society has, how they
deal with mutants. As well as revealing the history of Waknuk, how they acted before and their
origin. Beyond that, they play an important role by showing the progression of the novel, in which
they create subplots, and add suspense to the story. Even though minor characters are barely
mentioned in the story, they do show that they serve an overall important role in the progression of
the novel because they create subplots, in which they add suspense to the story. Equally important,
they help reveal the history of Waknuk, which is intricately connected to the setting and action of
the plot.
Minor characters have an important role in the progression of the novel, because they help reveal
the history of Waknuk and its people. Notably, this is shown when old man Jacob reveals to David
how they previously dealt with mutants/deviations. My father reckoned there was a lot less trouble
with mutants on account of it, and when there were any, they were burnt like other deviations
(Wyndham 88). This quote proclaimed by old man Jacob evokes to the reader the history of
Waknuk s actions against mutants. This quote has shown that they have
become less strict with them, and instead of burning them

The Decline Of Marriage And Family Life
The concept of a traditional American family has been profoundly changed over the last 100
years. Fewer marriages are forming, divorce rates are higher than ever, and childlessness is much
more common. The decline of marriage and family life seems to be the inevitable product of
progressive ideas and modern socio political conditions. Feminist and contemporary liberal critics
of marriageand family life appeal to individual rights, liberty, consent, equality, and love as they
seek to dismantle and undermine commitment to marriage and family life. However, some scholars
would propose that the actions and words of America s Founders show how to reconcile marriage
and family life with the same modern ideas of equality, individual rights, and... Show more content

In West s two books it is very clear that men and woman of the founding era placed family first,
the belief [being] that family integrity was indispensable for the public safety and happiness,
(Vindicating the Founders, pg. 85). Their beliefs were based on the fact that there are differences
between the sexes, differences that correspond to the traditional gender roles in the family,
(Vindicating the Founders, pg. 85). Today, this claim is easily dismissed by critics of the
Founders views. Marriage was defined by the Massachusetts supreme court in 1810 as an
engagement, by which a single man and a single woman, of sufficient discretion, take each other for
husband and wife, (The Political Theory of the American Founding, pg. 220). For the Founder and
people of the time, the right to marry [was] no less fundamental than freedom of religion and of the
press, (The Political Theory of the American Founding, pg. 221). Marriage was a natural right
practiced by a large majority and considered an important component of human happiness. And,
since pursuinift g happiness is a natural right, marriage is therefore a part of that right, (The
Political Theory of the American Founding, pg. 221). Better expressing this view of the time is

Introduction Of Romanticism In Frankenstein
INTRODUCTION
Romanticism has its start in the late eighteenth century s Germany, quickly spreading throughout
Europe and the United States of America, as a cultural, literary, musical and artistic movement,
pulling groups of people together, forming a powerful, shared attitude of care towards the concept
of existence itself. Being a direct reaction to the rationalistic point of view of the Enlightenment and
the strict forms of classical beauty, Romanticism is characterised by irrationalism, sentimentalism,
individualism and the adoration of nature, making it quite controversial compared to the
movements that came before and, therefore, very original and shocking .

century, all of which contain numerous romantic characteristics: mystery, the unknown, and

fact considered the father of French Romanticism, despite not having belonged to the movement
itself. However, MГЁditations PoГ©tiques by Alphonse Marie Louis de Prat de Lamartine, from
1920 must be the real start of French Romanticism, focusing on autobiographical and historical
storytelling, with non romantic elements, like the attention given to the poor, typical of Realism,

There s discussion of whether or not there are too many rights for the accused. Should the
Miranda rights be abolished? Do all of the rights for the accused handicap police and

me, it sounds absurd that the only way for a conviction to come through is by a 12 0 jury verdict.
That means if there s only one dissenter, then the whole trial and case is blown to bits, and justice
is not served. I just don t see how a system where unanimity is the only way for a conviction can
work. I understand that the U.S. justice system is all about protecting the innocent, but when we go

Public Administration Is Vital To The Future Of The United...
From essay #1
Wilson (1887) argued that political science should concentrate on how governments are
administered, focusing not only on personnel problems, but also on the organization and
management in general. How then did Wilson define PA and why did he believe it was so vital to
the future of the United States? Briefly discusses the theoretical development and arguments put
forth by earlier scholars on the general approaches of management techniques in public
administration since Wilson s seminal piece; and briefly discuss whether Wilson s basic rationale
and values are still valid. Public administration is something that the general public does not think
about. In fact, many do not even probably know what it is. But what the public does not know is
administration effects their everyday lives. Karl Marx described administration when he said
Administration is determined action taken in pursuit of a conscious purpose. It is the systematic
ordering of affairs and the calculated use of resources aimed at making those happen which one
wants to happen. ( What is Public Administration? Meaning and its Definition )
But how does public administration apply to our country and what did our leaders say about it?
Wilson said that the field of administration is like a field of business. It is devoid of politics. He said
it is only a component of political life the same a machine is a part of creating a product.
I think he saw administration as a means to enforce policy.

Native American Tribe
There are three main Native American tribes in South Carolina. They were known as the
Cherokee, Catawba, and Yemassee. The Cherokee was a tribe of Native Americans called the
real people located in the mountains of South Carolina. They built two types of homes for
summer and winter in their daily lives. Their summer homes allowed air to flow through to
make it cooler, and their winter homes were built with thick walls made of clay and grass called
duab to keep it warmer. Men poisoned the fishing water with walnut bark so the fish would float
to the top and be easier to catch. Men and women were allowed to be leaders of the council to
make decisions for the tribe. The holy man could be either men or women. The leader of the

equss vs amadeus by peter shaffer Essay
In both Equus and Amadeus Shaffer shows insanity in his characters. He does this not only to
stress the characters feelings and state of mind of which they are in. Also, he attempts to cast a
blanket over the reader; it gives the reader the feeling that Shaffer designed the characters to express
and reflect the beauty in insanity and to convey the ugliness on normality.
Madness, if not out rightly divine, is at best preferable to the 20th century s ruthless and uninspired
sanity, is in this play, as it is so much fashionable philosophizing, totally dependent on a pleasant,
aesthetically rational form of derangement for the credibility of its argument (Richardson 389).

Shaffer is questioning the notion or sanity and normality and this intrigues the reader. But when it
comes time for Dysart to do his job, what will happen to the boy? There s no question that the boy
himself is in deep pain and distress (Shaffer 356). Is Dysart the savior to the hell that Alan is going
through or is he the fiend that will show Alan the hell that is normality?
Amadeus begins with the savage whispers and snakelike hissing of the Ventricelli, the two Little
Winds who appear throughout the play, spreading rumors. They spew forth words from their
mouths like curses, First Saliere and assassin emerge, followed by the talk of Mozart s death, or
murder, and the question that we are left with: Did Saliere murder Mozart? If he did, why did he
wait thirty two years to make his confession (Morace 37)?
Saliere starts his story off by telling us about his bargain with God. He says that in exchange for
God s making him a composer, he would dedicate his art to God and his life to serving God and

Sex Offenders In Australia Essay
The rate of registered sexual offenders in Australia and internationally has been frequently
increasing over time. Within Victoria, as of December 2011, 4165 offenders had been registered
and it is estimated that by the year 2020, there will be 10,000 registrations by then (Victorian Law
Reform Commission, 2012). Within Australia today there are only a few states which have an
established registry such as Western Australia and The Northern Territory. Other states within
Australia such as New South Wales have indicated that they have been working to establish a
registry. Having a sex offenderregistry is extremely crucial and beneficial to people in the
community as it enables them to feel protected and constantly informed of the whereabouts of sex
offenders within their community.
Community s response to official Sex Offender registers In December 2012 the Western Australian

The Causes Of The Tiananmen Square Protest Of 1989
On June 5, 1989, soldiers and tanks from China s People s Liberation Army physically oppressed
the student led protesters. The events surrounding this day are referred to as the Tiananmen Square
Protest of 1989, a democracy movement calling for political and social reforms in the Republic of
China. The deaths that occurred as a consequence of the Tiananmen Square Protest was not the fault
of the students, but rather, the disastrous situation of China beforehand, the common belief that
demonstrations would succeed, and the government s obstinate decisions. China was already
suffering from harsh living conditions prior to the massacre, in which these conditions pushed the
students to act. To begin with, the country had been under intense economic pressure. After
changing into a capitalist based economy, the economy increasing changed due to rising inflation,
declining wages, and rising unemployment rates. To complicate things, the government
deregulated prices of many products. The Chinese feared inflation would occur with the removal
of price controls, and used all their savings to purchase items ahead of time. As a result, the
biggest department store sold two hundred times its usual monthly income. Labour unrest grew,
and between 20 to 30 million were laid off in state enterprises that year. By 1989, people were
ready for political reforms. Even though China s economy was growing, there were strict
limitations on daily aspects of one s life. The rising inflation and

The Significance of Death and Sex to William Shakespeare
The Significance of Death and Sex to William Shakespeare
In this essay, I will consider Death and Sin in Shakespearean drama and I would like to look at
three of Shakespeare s tragic plays: Hamlet , Othello and King Lear .
Shakespeare uses many themes in all his play that attract audiences throughout history. The things
he wrote about are as relevant now as they were in his time. Death and Sin were issues that are
always around. In his plays, Shakespeare could comment on these things and make audiences see
things that they could not before.
In Hamlet, we can see clear examples of Death and Sin as significant to Shakespearean drama.
The first thing that points to both death and sin is the inclusion of a ghost in the play. ... Show more

incest, he is guilty of two sins. The cause of the revelations on Claudius character as revealed by

the audience know everything about, giving cause for them to hate him, and Claudius is Hamlets

Religion in the 16th Century was still a prominent issue. Religion had changed from Catholicism to
Christianity, depending on which monarch was on the throne at the time. People were expected to
change religion depending on what their monarch said or face being an outcast. In Elizabeth s
reign, the religion changed from Catholicism to Protestantism. Being unsure of religions myself, the
definition in the Collins pocket dictionary is as follows:

in the sixteenth century. Adj 2 of or relating to such a church. Protestantism n
In the Ten Commandments, written for the Christian faith, there are some elements that must be

The Oppression Of Prisoners In Plato s Cave
The critical idea is that the prisoners in the cave have no idea on the reality, and all they see is a
shadow representation of it. The foundation of the allegory lies on Plato s view and belief that there
is unseen truths and reality lying underneath the apparent surface of things, and only the most
determined and enlightened individuals can grasp. The individuals who grasp these invisible truths
deserve to be rulers and leaders of the ordinary people. Being used to the confinement of the cave,
the prisoners are quick to resist enlighten in the similar manner students resist education at first. The
chained and uneducated prisoners in the cave portray ordinary people who regard material objects
and the world as real, genuine, and important.

Conflict Spiral Model Essay
The conflict is now in its thirteenth year. There are several factors that are responsible for this
increase in escalation. Most importantly, stability inducing characteristics are lacking. Social
bonds, a balance of power, and national institutions and forums are absent, eliminating stability as a
foreseeable outcome. Escalation is most likely when there is an imbalance of power and when
parties have high aspirations. In cartels, kingpins and lords are replaced when one is murdered or
arrested. Similarly, in the Mexican government, presidents are replaced following a regularly
scheduled election. In both situations, a power vacuum opens; each top ranking official has a

Through this, aspects of a culture legitimize direct violence. Narcoculture, previously discussed as
the glorification of the lifestyles of the drug traffickers, is an example of this. The movies,

powerful, machismo men with fast cars, private jets, and many beautiful women. As this is the

A Group Of Advisory Councillors From Google
SUMMARY
A group of advisory councillors from Google wrote a report on The Right to Be Forgotten policy
in 2015. This policy was created in an effort to offer a balance between freedom of expression and
the press. The Right to be Forgotten offers citizens the ability to request for their information to be
removed from the results of a Google search. The removal of these search results, or links, upon
the request of an individual is referred to as delisting (Floridi et al., 2015). Delisting allows web
users to maintain and protect their privacy by limiting the public s access to information about them.
It is important to note, however, that while citizens may apply to be delisted, Google does not have
to comply with this request. Google ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On the other hand, citizens should have the right to access information that is germane to the public.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE POLICY
The policy first outlines the nature of the rights at issue in the ruling. Google must decide whether
the general public should have the right to easily access an individual s information via the search
engine. Google must also consider if the individual requesting to delist experiences harm from
[public] accessibility to the information (Floridi et al., 2015, p. 6).
Next, the policy addresses the way in which Google must assess each delisting request according
to four key pieces of criteria: the data subject s role in public life, the nature of the information,
the source, and time (Floridi et al., 2015). When evaluating the data subject s role in public life,
Google considers three different types of citizens: individuals with a public personality (e.g.
politicians), individuals with no public personality (i.e. average citizens), and those with a defined
role in public life (e.g. school directors). Ultimately, the more involved a citizen is in the public
sphere, the less likely they are to be delisted.
Google also considers the nature of the information. Financial records, private contact information,
and false information, are all deemed worthy of privacy according to Google. If, however, the
information biases toward a public interest (e.g. information related to criminal offences),

Management Styles Of Leadership Styles
Literature Review Outline
I.Introduction
a.A key determinant in an organizational success is directly related with the management styles of
leadership. According to Parris Peachey (2013), the key to understanding an organizations success
is to study its leaders. A leader s ability to inspire, motive, and create a strong sense of engagement
and commitment to the organization will determine the success or failure in the attainment of
goals. Transformational, charismatic, and servant leadership are three styles that organizational
leaders might possess. While there is no predetermined best style of leadership, one can describe
leadership and management as situational. The overriding goal of any organization is building a
high performing organization which is paramount for short and long term success (DeGraw Sizoo,
2013). Both the leader and the organization should select the most appropriate style to enhance
organizations probability for effectiveness and attainment of desire goals. Studies have shown when
organizations have the right leadership in place, an organization can have shared vision that is
articulated in a manner where subordinates desire work enthusiastically towards the
accomplishment of the goals (Parris Peachey, 2013).

Importance Of Ethics In Anthropology
Vishan Neupane Professor Ritu Khanduri ANTH 2322 002 1 December 2017 Ethics, fieldwork and
anthropology Anthropology is a worldwide discipline which involve social institution, humanities
and natural sciences. Cultural anthropology studies the contemporary human cultures and shows
how social behavior are formed and how they shape the world around them. Anthropological
researchers always have ethical obligations, especially to the materials they study, and the group of
people with whom they work. When exploring the community, anthropologists learn about matters
that their informants would prefer to keep their identity secret which leads them to protect
informant identity. Social research can impact ethical dilemmas. A simple mistake of the
anthropologist may lead to social isolation of an informant. Anthropologists should always know
whether the group they are being researched wishes to stay anonymous or receive recognition.
During an anthropologist s fieldwork, anthropologists look over enculturation. Enculturation is a
process by which we obtain and transmit culture which is experienced universally among humans.
It teaches the individual about their role in the society as well as what kind of behavior is accepted
within that culture and lifestyle. Some anthropologists are ethnocentric. They critique other groups
relative to their own ethnic group or culture, especially with concern for customs, language,
behavior, and religion. The group of people that falls in this

Abstract
In the following paper, the various consequential effects of divorce upon children and
adolescents and their development will be examined. The main purpose of this review is to
determine the effects of the effects of the growing epidemic of divorce, what is happening to our
children when they confront the reality of divorce, how we can plan for the future where growth
is redirected by divorce, and how the world may prepare for a population where over half of
children will experience divorce. No matter the stage or direction of development, divorce may
have an effect on the child s natural path of growth psychologically. However, with the help of
many different studies that range from religious adjustment, to physical health, to a father s well
being in relation with a child s well being, this review pinpoints the most crucial elements of divorce
in the modern day and the subsequent effects upon children s psychological development.
Impact of Divorce on Children and Adolescents
Divorce is a decided arrangement of a married couple, whose original intentions were to stay
married until death do them part, to separate and break the ties that held their marriage together. In
the past 50 years, due to decline of strict religion, economic tensions, and a looser society, the social

Just like a dedicated reporter trying to feed their newspaper with the most scandalous story or
chilling tale, photojournalism takes the profession a step further. With concrete photographic
evidence of the story they are trying to find and cover, their audience will have a dedicated
visual of the story. Jacob Riis is perhaps the most famed photojournalist of his time, taking
pictures of what nobody in America wanted to see: the impoverished lives of those that lived in
the New York ghettos. During the 1880s through 1890s, the state of New York needed to
accomodate for all the people who moved in by building tenements. Riis describes a tenement as .
. . a house occupied by three or more families, living independently . . . and having a common
right in the halls, stairways, yards, etc, (Riis 18). Unlike the dirt poor New York ghetto that Riis
helped reform through exposing his photographs to the middle and higher classed New York
citizens, Ross was under constant surveillance and could not show his photojournalistic pictures
during his time in Lodz. Instead, his tool of photography had helped bring down Nazi Germany after
the war, inciting his vengeance on everyone involved in the Holocaust. Today, modern
photojournalists employ the same strategies as Ross, ending corruption with photographic proof of
their stories, and exposing their pictures for the world to

Examining Four Types of Diversity Essay examples
While diversity is often a term used to refer specifically to cultural differences, diversity applies to
all the qualities that make people different. From a management perspective, the key to diversity is
to understand how different types of diversity and different demographic characteristics can impact
human behavior. The four types of diversity that will be examined are: occupation, differences in
skills and abilities, personality traits, and value and attitudes. For each type of diversity, the impact
on individualbehavior will be described.
One type of diversity is occupation. For example, an individual in a professional occupation is

The same employee may have had close relationships with subordinates before they became
supervisor. This example shows how occupation impacts behavior and how a change in position
can alter individual behavior. The next type of diversity is differences in skills and abilities. One
of the most important factors when considering skills and abilities is that individuals will often
adapt their behavior so they are making use of what they consider their positive skills and
abilities. For example, consider the case of an individual who believes that they have very
effective written communication skills but very poor oral communication skills. This individual is
likely to adapt his or her behavior so they write as much as possible, while avoiding communicating
orally. As a specific example, this individual might prepare memos or write emails as a way of
communicating with their employees, instead of having a meeting with employees. This illustrates
how people tend to adapt their behavior so they are using their positive qualities, while avoiding
having to use their weaker skills and abilities. Another type of diversity is personality traits.
Personality traits are defined as recurring patterns of behavior such as friendliness, social
dominance, conventionality, emotional adjustment, and aesthetic inclination (Seamon Kenrick,
1994). As this definition shows, personality traits are actually defined because of the observed
behavior they result in. The link

thus reducing the amount of water available for irrigation. Betty lost her apple crop worth

ANSWER A TO CONTRACTS ESSAY ONE WAS A VALID CONTRACT FORMED? Betty s

whether it was breached and by whom. A and B clearly agreed on the subject matter (drilling a

form a contract. The contract did not have to be in writing. A writing to evidence a contract is
required by the statute of frauds when land is transferred, but not for services to be performed,
as here. Betty would not have rights against A if the contract called only for drilling for water,
but the subject matter here is clearly a completed well, not the mere act of drilling: B s interest
(known to A) was in the water, and she asked him about drilling to supply drinking water, and

Teaching Students With Communication Disorders
Communication is an important aspect of life and experiences. When it comes to learning
communication plays a major role due to the fact that it allows children to participate in active and
interactive communication with classmates and school personnel, which facilitate the learning
process. Communication disorders consist of various problems in hearing, speech, and language. As
we all know, speech and language can impact children in many ways such as how they talk, gain
understanding, evaluate, and process information. Children with communication disorders usually
do poorly in school. They repeatedly struggle to read, they have problems expressing and
understanding language and social cues. They may demonstrate poor judgment, have trouble with
tests taking, and also may sometimes refuse to go to school. What does research recommend when
it comes to teaching students with communication disorders in the general classroom? What

The first set of alternatives explores a progress indicator as opposed to a total dollar value of all

does, but also computes several negative economic effects (including the cost of crime, cost of

Organizational and Change Management Models
Models of Organizational Change Introduction The world is experiencing unprecedented changes
in the structure and operation of organizations. This has increased the challenges that confront
organizations. New competition from unexpected places is a huge challenge. So are the cultural
issues that come with a diverse, opinionated, and often far flung workforce. The need for fast
acting, effective, sustained organizational change will continue to increase. In fact, it will
increase even more rapidly than it is now. The flattening of the world through globalization has
sent market forces in new directions. Organizations must react to this increasingly chaotic
market swiftly and effectively. The McKinsey 7 S Model and Lewin s three step model are two
of the most influential models of organizational change in the business world. The McKinsey 7 S
model emphasizes the role of structural factors in organizational change, while Lewin s three step
model is rooted in behavioral factors. Thesis: The McKinsey 7 S model is grounded in
questionable research methods and an excessive focus on structural factors. Lewin s three step
model is more incisive and relevant because it is rooted in principles of human behavior.

Symbolic Cages
Another example of symbolism was cage. The female characters are dominate in this play. As
the all women were gathering some of Mrs. Wright s things they discovered a bird cage with a
broken door and with no bird. Mrs. Peters looked confused after looking over the cage and she state
that, why, look at this door. It s broke. One hinge is pulled a part (Glaspell pg7). The cage
represents to how Mrs. Wright was trapped over her marriage, and could not getaway it. The cage
door was broken which shows her broken marriage to Mr. Wright. Furthermore, it also represents
Mrs. Wright escaping her marriage from Mr. Wright. When the door was open it permits Mrs.
Wright to be a free women. Glaspell use symbol cage to represent how Mr. Wright kept Mrs.

The Cause Of Generalized Anxiety Disorders
In the United States, 85% of all adults and teenagers, more females than males, have been
depressed at one point in their life. (Davey) Although the term is used loosely because people
tend to incorrectly self diagnose their sadness as depression, it is actually defined as a common
and serious medical illness that negatively affects how one feels and the way he or she thinks and
acts. (Parekh). In most cases, depression is accompanied with a type of anxietydisorder such as as
generalized anxiety disorderand social anxiety (Facts). The cause of them occurring at the same
time is unknown, but scientists believe that it is caused by a malfunction of brain chemistry.

Although interactions may be limited, they are beneficial to a depressed person (Hagerty).
Social relationships with close friends have proved to help lower depression rates and even
make it less severe. Relationships are extremely beneficial to depression because they often help
prevent severe depression or even overcome it over time. Relationships boost confidence from
their partner and provide them with the idea that they are not alone. It has been proven that
those who do not have depression also tend to relate more with those that do have it because non
depressed people tend to have a more positive outlook on life and tend to be more giving and
understanding. Overall, if a depressed person allows for it, relationships and social support have

The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow Analysis
Like all great works of literature, critics interpret stories in multiple ways. The Legend of Sleepy
Hollow by Washington Irving is no exception. His story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless
Horseman is an exciting read, but when further analyzed, one finds that many interpretations exist.
Ranging from feminist perspectives to economic perspectives, this story appears to have a much
deeper meaning than many readers initially give the story. To truly understand the many
interpretations of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, one must understand the historical and cultural
context of the story.
Irving, a Romantic author, wrote many stories besides The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. These
tales include Rip Van Winkle and The Devil and Tom Walker. Like these stories, The Legend of
Sleepy Hollow takes place in early post colonial America. This aspect greatly influences the
historical and cultural backgrounds for the story. The historical backgrounds of this tale comes
from post Revolutionary war America. Because of this, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow reflects this
new American society described in the physical setting of the story. The cultural background of the
story is explained through the background actions of the characters. For example, Ichabod Crane
stays with the parents of his students, and Ichabod Crane and Brom Bones fight for the hand of
Katrina Van Tassel. These are just two examples of American culture shown in the story.
Because this story can be interpreted in many

Is Jesus the Only Savior
Delores Underwood
THEO 313 B02
Dr. Daubert
October 12, 2013
Ronald Nash wrote a book called Is Jesus the Only Savior. It discusses his gathered findings and
distinctions between Pluralism and Inclusiveness. This paper will explore some of Ronald Nash s
observations and the arguments, logics and Scripture used to support his writings. This paper will
discuss several Religious leaders some pluralist others inclusivists, non Christians, Christians and
their beliefs, philosophies or opinions. In this paper the details of inclusiveness is discussed.
It seems that everyone has a somewhat varied definition of inclusiveness. Nash has in his book that

the benefits of this sacrifice are not confined to those who respond to it with an explicit act of
faith (Nash, 1994, p. 103). Nash breaks down the definitions and uses Scripture to back up his
points very well.
Nash uses so many different important people to counter even his own arguments shows his regard
for fairness in his writing. Inclusivists say in what they call a two axiom that one is Particularity
The belief about the finality of Jesus must not be watered down and two Universality that God
intends his salvation to be for all humans (Nash, 1994, p. 105). These men who Nash places their
expressions in his writings can Nash continues to point out about any religion like on page 115 he
speaks about The axiom Universalism, he says that it lacks biblical support. Sanders says as far
as a significant New Testament passage testifying to Christ s exclusive role as Savior is watered
down so that it becomes trivial or unimportant utterance (Nash, 1994, p. 119). Nash talks a lot about
the Scriptures referring to Paul and his letters about salvation.
When it comes to faith or belief Nash says that inclusivists have a different focus. Inclusivists
believe that an act of faith is necessary for salvation, they insist that this faith need not have Jesus
as its direct object (Nash, 1994, p. 123).

The period between early 1940s to mid 1960s or so, alternatively, the period between when the
musical Oklahoma! (1943) was produced till the time when Hair (1968) was produced, is usually
referred to as the Golden Age of the American musical (Kantor, 2010). It is during this period, that
most of the noted titles such as Carousel , South Pacific etc. were produced. 1940s and early
1950s were dominated thoroughly by MGM musicals, while the late 1950s and 1960s belonged to
Broadway. Initially, the musicals of this era had simple plots, unchallenging themes, with romantic
or comedic characters and lots of singing and dancing. But towards the end of it, the plots were
sophisticated, serious with singing, dancing as well as dialogue. In this... Show more content on

It s fair to say that none of these would have existed had West Side Story not first taught us that
musicals could be made from painful stories that force us to confront our most dangerous
internalized philosophies. Musicals could reflect the uglier, coarser sides of human nature and
warn us of the consequences of not just personal immorality but also larger social issues. This
musical included several dance numbers, which were innovatively choreographed and set and
also had strong links between themselves. I felt West Side Story is about many such as rage and
power, belonging and frustration; but most of all it s about the scourge of prejudice, and its
implications for love. West Side Story s dark theme, sophisticated music, electrifying integrated
dance, and no holds barred reflection of social problems marked a turning point in American
theater. The musical style combines symphonic and jazz styles and Bernstein has focussed on
dissonant, chromatic and syncopated elements to create musical tension suitable for the story and
its setting. The musical ran for 732 performances before going on tour. The production received a
Tony Award nomination for Best Musical in 1957, but the award went to Meredith Willson s The
Music Man. The play spawned an innovative 1961 musical film of the same name, directed by
Robert Wise and Robbins. The film won ten

If Inequality Is Increasing, Are We Likely to See More...
The question assumes that there is a linear relationship between inequality and armed conflict; the
rise of the former inevitably leads to the increase of the latter. However, in the absence of
functioning communism or utopian egalitarianism, we need to concede that our world is full of
inequalities, but not all parts of the world are equally ridden by conflict. Moreover, large N studies
of civil war, conducted over the past few years, all seem to conclude that inequality is not
directly linked to the risk of civil war (Collier Hoeffler, 2004: 563 595; Fearon Laitin, 2003: 75 90;
Hegre, Gissinger, Gleditsch, 2003: 251 276). Following this lead, I will argue for a non linear link
between inequality and conflict and for the multi causality... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Contradictory results might be explained by emphasising the diversity of the term inequality .
Mount (2008:3), classifies four different forms of inequality: political inequality, inequality of
opportunities, inequality of treatment in society, inequality of membership in society. To this list
we could add the, partly overlapping, categories of inequality of race, gender, status, class, age,
income, inequality of access to resources, education and medical services. At any given place and
time, the specific constellation and degree of various forms of inequality will be unique. Can we
expect distinct constellations and levels of inequality to conform to the simple linear relationship
suggested in the title? Besançon s (2005) findings that different socio political set ups have
differing results with regards to conflict are but one hint towards greater complexity. As a result,
she associates herself with academics suggesting that causes for all types of civil wars and armed
conflict are not necessarily parallel. Instead, she argues, a micro analysis of specific cases might
prove more fruitful. A claim for complexity can be further underpinned by invoking Stewart s
(2000) analysis of horizontal inequality. Structurally, one can distinguish between vertical
inequality, which is based on objectively quantifiable differences between people (e.g. income,
wealth, etc.) and

Othello: Hero or Stranger
Othello is a hero due to being a hardened and vicious warrior on the battlefield but he is also a
tragic hero in this play. A tragic hero by definition is a literary character who makes a judgment

Desdemona whom he murders because he has been misled by the villainous Iago. Allowing himself
to be manipulated instead following his heart, he attempts to redeem himself then he realizes he put
his trust in the wrong people and it is too late to save his beloved Desdemona who he smothered ...

Whilst on my level 3 course I completed work experience at Rainbow Nursery and St Anns

During my first few weeks at my placement at St Anns, I worked with year 1 pupils and nursery

Phoebe Pyncheon Character Analysis
Phoebe Pyncheon s arrival to the House of The Seven Gables was initially not looked forward to
as the lone resident of the house has been used to being alone. It was soon found after the lone

The inhabitants of the House of The Seven Gables appeared to be most affected by Phoebe s

Age Related Visual Impairment Essay
Understanding the limitations of vision in the elderly has been overlooked until recently. We have
learned that approximately 1.8 million non institutionalized elderly reported difficulties with basic
activities such as bathing, dressing, and walking due to vision impairment (Brawley and Noell
Waggoner, 2003). In this essay I will discuss several aspects of the relationship between saturation
of colorand age related visual impairment. Additionally, I will present a correlation between sleep
and health, and how it is directly related to lighting conditions.
Visual Changes and Color Problems
According to the article, Lighting: Partner in quality care environments by Brawley and Noell
Waggoner (2008), the average person starts noticing visual changes around the age of 40, and as
we age, our vision continues to decline. Vision loss cannot be corrected. However, we use tools
such as glasses or contact lenses to help with the visual changes. There are an estimated 92 percent
of people in their 70 s that wear glasses (Desai, Pratt, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Positive And Negative Aspects Of The Influence Of...
To say brand communities are selective is an understatement itself. They place their emphasis more
on symbolism than substance. Therefore, the importance of branding is a critical component used
by marketers to leverage and lure consumers towards building a cohesive identity (Solomon et
al.,2016). A visible brandidentity, brings about a set of positive and negative aspects of brand
communities for marketers. These communities have the capacity to resurrect and/or promote the
brand. Having a loyal base has its pros and cons, especially for marketers who need to handle
issues posed, delicately and competently to avoid any damages to the brand s image and influence.
An effective product positioning strategy is heavily relied by brands to establish their brand
position and differentiate itself, producing a strong competitive advantage. This exclusivity would
increase sales and strengthen the long term position of the brand (Clow and Baack,2014).
2.Branding s Relevance A distinctive brand identity is relevant, differentiated and well esteemed
which influences consumers perception. Brand s respect stems from establishing a positive
connection, resulting in a strong brand equity. This allows brands to attain consumers loyalty,
commercial success, product awareness, power and value universally (Kotler and Armstrong,
2014). Upkeeping an image consistent over the years is built upon a set of associative networks
which foster strong relations and satisfaction (Whalley,2010).

How Do Tattoos Affect The Health Care Industry There has been a recent issue with people smoking and having tattoos in the Health Care industry. 76% of employees believe tattoos hurt your chances of getting a job interview. Many people oppose both smoking and tattoos. People are saying if you have tattoos or if you smoke, you should not even apply. I disagree with this. University Preparation According to Akers and Yahr (2005, p. 1), communication and interviewing skills are important for entry level accountants. Accountants must gather data, interview employees of the client s organization, and interact with members of the audit team. Universities, for the most part, are preparing students to interact and work collaboratively within group settings. Many courses assign projects which require students to work together culling information for the given topic, write reports outlining their findings, and then present the results or information to their respective class. These are sound skills all students need to have in their accounting toolkits, yet, in many instances their toolkits are still... Anxiety is when a person is unable to relax due to consistently worrying about things, such as life and judgement of others. Physical symptoms are compulsive sweating, muscle aches, and headaches. Complementary and alternative medications (CAM) have become an interest to many of the 6.8 million Americans, who are affected by anxietydisorders. The effect of physical and behavioral side effects is the main reason why people look into the alternatives. Another factor is the cost of serotonin specific reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and benzodiazepines. Consequently, these antidepressants have serious side effects. Studies of using CAM have ... The public want to protect the wetlands for their valueable functions while privates want to use the wetlands for their direct economic profits. Kohn (1994) suggested that policymakers and society need to balance private rights to convert land with public benefits from keeping wetlands inact by compensating wetlandowners or society can regulate conversion of wetlands. However, the facts that about 82 percent of wetlands are privately owned in US and there is no clear agreement between private owners and public (Heimlich, et al. 1998) make wetland protection more complicated and controversy. Valueing wetlands can help visualizing the benefits of wetlands, however difficult to implement, since values of wetlands are affected by historical events, technological development and social views. In addition, even when wetlands values are determined, these values will vary temporaly and spatially, for examples not all wetlands have the flooding protection values or the recreational values can seasonally change. It is therefore the problem of institutional arrangement to balance the public benefits (positive externalities of wetlands) and private interests. Policy ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 9. Minor Characters By John Wyndham Minor characters play an overall important role in the progression of the novel; as this will be proven by analyzing John Wyndham s book The Chrysalids. Minor characters serve an important role in this story. They do this by showing the kind of environment Waknuk s society has, how they deal with mutants. As well as revealing the history of Waknuk, how they acted before and their origin. Beyond that, they play an important role by showing the progression of the novel, in which they create subplots, and add suspense to the story. Even though minor characters are barely mentioned in the story, they do show that they serve an overall important role in the progression of the novel because they create subplots, in which they add suspense to the story. Equally important, they help reveal the history of Waknuk, which is intricately connected to the setting and action of the plot. Minor characters have an important role in the progression of the novel, because they help reveal the history of Waknuk and its people. Notably, this is shown when old man Jacob reveals to David how they previously dealt with mutants/deviations. My father reckoned there was a lot less trouble with mutants on account of it, and when there were any, they were burnt like other deviations (Wyndham 88). This quote proclaimed by old man Jacob evokes to the reader the history of Waknuk s actions against mutants. Fewer marriages are forming, divorce rates are higher than ever, and childlessness is much more common. The decline of marriage and family life seems to be the inevitable product of progressive ideas and modern socio political conditions. Feminist and contemporary liberal critics of marriageand family life appeal to individual rights, liberty, consent, equality, and love as they seek to dismantle and undermine commitment to marriage and family life. However, some scholars would propose that the actions and words of America s Founders show how to reconcile marriage and family life with the same modern ideas of equality, individual rights, and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In West s two books it is very clear that men and woman of the founding era placed family first, the belief [being] that family integrity was indispensable for the public safety and happiness, (Vindicating the Founders, pg. 85). Their beliefs were based on the fact that there are differences between the sexes, differences that correspond to the traditional gender roles in the family, (Vindicating the Founders, pg. 85). Today, this claim is easily dismissed by critics of the Founders views. Marriage was defined by the Massachusetts supreme court in 1810 as an engagement, by which a single man and a single woman, of sufficient discretion, take each other for husband and wife, (The Political Theory of the American Founding, pg. 220). For the Founder and people of the time, the right to marry [was] no less fundamental than freedom of religion and of the press, (The Political Theory of the American Founding, pg. 221). Marriage was a natural right practiced by a large majority and considered an important component of human happiness. And, since pursuinift g happiness is a natural right, marriage is therefore a part of that right, (The Political Theory of the American Founding, pg. 221). Introduction Of Romanticism In Frankenstein INTRODUCTION Romanticism has its start in the late eighteenth century s Germany, quickly spreading throughout Europe and the United States of America, as a cultural, literary, musical and artistic movement, pulling groups of people together, forming a powerful, shared attitude of care towards the concept of existence itself. Being a direct reaction to the rationalistic point of view of the Enlightenment and the strict forms of classical beauty, Romanticism is characterised by irrationalism, sentimentalism, individualism and the adoration of nature, making it quite controversial compared to the movements that came before and, therefore, very original and shocking . From essay #1 Wilson (1887) argued that political science should concentrate on how governments are administered, focusing not only on personnel problems, but also on the organization and management in general. How then did Wilson define PA and why did he believe it was so vital to the future of the United States? Briefly discusses the theoretical development and arguments put forth by earlier scholars on the general approaches of management techniques in public administration since Wilson s seminal piece; and briefly discuss whether Wilson s basic rationale and values are still valid. Public administration is something that the general public does not think about. In fact, many do not even probably know what it is. But what the public does not know is administration effects their everyday lives. Karl Marx described administration when he said Administration is determined action taken in pursuit of a conscious purpose. It is the systematic ordering of affairs and the calculated use of resources aimed at making those happen which one wants to happen. ( What is Public Administration? He does this not only to stress the characters feelings and state of mind of which they are in. Madness, if not out rightly divine, is at best preferable to the 20th century s ruthless and uninspired sanity, is in this play, as it is so much fashionable philosophizing, totally dependent on a pleasant, aesthetically rational form of derangement for the credibility of its argument (Richardson 389). If he did, why did he wait thirty two years to make his confession (Morace 37)? Saliere starts his story off by telling us about his bargain with God. He says that in exchange for God s making him a composer, he would dedicate his art to God and his life to serving God and man (Morace 37). • 23. The Causes Of The Tiananmen Square Protest Of 1989 On June 5, 1989, soldiers and tanks from China s People s Liberation Army physically oppressed the student led protesters. The events surrounding this day are referred to as the Tiananmen Square Protest of 1989, a democracy movement calling for political and social reforms in the Republic of China. The deaths that occurred as a consequence of the Tiananmen Square Protest was not the fault of the students, but rather, the disastrous situation of China beforehand, the common belief that demonstrations would succeed, and the government s obstinate decisions. China was already suffering from harsh living conditions prior to the massacre, in which these conditions pushed the students to act. To begin with, the country had been under intense economic pressure. After changing into a capitalist based economy, the economy increasing changed due to rising inflation, declining wages, and rising unemployment rates. To complicate things, the government deregulated prices of many products. The Chinese feared inflation would occur with the removal of price controls, and used all their savings to purchase items ahead of time. As a result, the biggest department store sold two hundred times its usual monthly income. Labour unrest grew, and between 20 to 30 million were laid off in state enterprises that year. The Significance of Death and Sex to William Shakespeare The Significance of Death and Sex to William Shakespeare In this essay, I will consider Death and Sin in Shakespearean drama and I would like to look at three of Shakespeare s tragic plays: Hamlet , Othello and King Lear . Shakespeare uses many themes in all his play that attract audiences throughout history. The things he wrote about are as relevant now as they were in his time. Death and Sin were issues that are always around. In his plays, Shakespeare could comment on these things and make audiences see things that they could not before. This policy was created in an effort to offer a balance between freedom of expression and the press. The Right to be Forgotten offers citizens the ability to request for their information to be removed from the results of a Google search. The removal of these search results, or links, upon the request of an individual is referred to as delisting (Floridi et al., 2015). Google must decide whether the general public should have the right to easily access an individual s information via the search engine. Google must also consider if the individual requesting to delist experiences harm from [public] accessibility to the information (Floridi et al., 2015, p. 6). Next, the policy addresses the way in which Google must assess each delisting request according to four key pieces of criteria: the data subject s role in public life, the nature of the information, the source, and time (Floridi et al., 2015). When evaluating the data subject s role in public life, Google considers three different types of citizens: individuals with a public personality (e.g. politicians), individuals with no public personality (i.e. average citizens), and those with a defined role in public life (e.g. school directors). Importance Of Ethics In Anthropology Vishan Neupane Professor Ritu Khanduri ANTH 2322 002 1 December 2017 Ethics, fieldwork and anthropology Anthropology is a worldwide discipline which involve social institution, humanities and natural sciences. Cultural anthropology studies the contemporary human cultures and shows how social behavior are formed and how they shape the world around them. Anthropological researchers always have ethical obligations, especially to the materials they study, and the group of people with whom they work. When exploring the community, anthropologists learn about matters that their informants would prefer to keep their identity secret which leads them to protect informant identity. Social research can impact ethical dilemmas. A simple mistake of the anthropologist may lead to social isolation of an informant. Anthropologists should always know whether the group they are being researched wishes to stay anonymous or receive recognition. During an anthropologist s fieldwork, anthropologists look over enculturation. Enculturation is a process by which we obtain and transmit culture which is experienced universally among humans. It teaches the individual about their role in the society as well as what kind of behavior is accepted within that culture and lifestyle. Some anthropologists are ethnocentric. From a management perspective, the key to diversity is to understand how different types of diversity and different demographic characteristics can impact human behavior. The four types of diversity that will be examined are: occupation, differences in skills and abilities, personality traits, and value and attitudes. The same employee may have had close relationships with subordinates before they became supervisor. This example shows how occupation impacts behavior and how a change in position can alter individual behavior. The next type of diversity is differences in skills and abilities. One of the most important factors when considering skills and abilities is that individuals will often adapt their behavior so they are making use of what they consider their positive skills and abilities. For example, consider the case of an individual who believes that they have very effective written communication skills but very poor oral communication skills. This individual is likely to adapt his or her behavior so they write as much as possible, while avoiding communicating orally. As a specific example, this individual might prepare memos or write emails as a way of communicating with their employees, instead of having a meeting with employees. This illustrates how people tend to adapt their behavior so they are using their positive qualities, while avoiding having to use their weaker skills and abilities. Another type of diversity is personality traits. Personality traits are defined as recurring patterns of behavior such as friendliness, social dominance, conventionality, emotional adjustment, and aesthetic inclination (Seamon Kenrick, 1994). As this definition shows, personality traits are actually defined because of the observed behavior they result in. The link ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The most successful alternative in this category seems to be GPI, or Genuine Progress Indicator. GPI takes the total dollar value of all goods and services, just as GDP does, but also computes several negative economic effects (including the cost of crime, cost of ozone depletion, etc.) for a more accurate measure of well being. Since GPI includes both positive and negative economic influences, many economists consider it to be a superior measurementto GDP, as GPI s variety of factors are a better determinant of the true well being of a country. • 43. Organizational and Change Management Models Models of Organizational Change Introduction The world is experiencing unprecedented changes in the structure and operation of organizations. This has increased the challenges that confront organizations. New competition from unexpected places is a huge challenge. So are the cultural issues that come with a diverse, opinionated, and often far flung workforce. The need for fast acting, effective, sustained organizational change will continue to increase. In fact, it will increase even more rapidly than it is now. The flattening of the world through globalization has sent market forces in new directions. Organizations must react to this increasingly chaotic market swiftly and effectively. The McKinsey 7 S Model and Lewin s three step model are two of the most influential models of organizational change in the business world. The McKinsey 7 S model emphasizes the role of structural factors in organizational change, while Lewin s three step model is rooted in behavioral factors. Thesis: The McKinsey 7 S model is grounded in questionable research methods and an excessive focus on structural factors. Lewin s three step model is more incisive and relevant because it is rooted in principles of human behavior. Background McKinsey s 7 S Model In the book, In Search of Excellence, Peters and Water identified eight common features of excellent organizations, which they defined as organizations which have achieved sustained profitability and innovation. • 47. The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow Analysis Like all great works of literature, critics interpret stories in multiple ways. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving is no exception. His story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman is an exciting read, but when further analyzed, one finds that many interpretations exist. Ranging from feminist perspectives to economic perspectives, this story appears to have a much deeper meaning than many readers initially give the story. To truly understand the many interpretations of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, one must understand the historical and cultural context of the story. Irving, a Romantic author, wrote many stories besides The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. These tales include Rip Van Winkle and The Devil and Tom Walker. Like these stories, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow takes place in early post colonial America. This aspect greatly influences the historical and cultural backgrounds for the story. The historical backgrounds of this tale comes from post Revolutionary war America. Because of this, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow reflects this new American society described in the physical setting of the story. The cultural background of the story is explained through the background actions of the characters. For example, Ichabod Crane stays with the parents of his students, and Ichabod Crane and Brom Bones fight for the hand of Katrina Van Tassel. Inclusivists say in what they call a two axiom that one is Particularity The belief about the finality of Jesus must not be watered down and two Universality that God intends his salvation to be for all humans (Nash, 1994, p. 105). Nash talks a lot about the Scriptures referring to Paul and his letters about salvation. When it comes to faith or belief Nash says that inclusivists have a different focus. Inclusivists believe that an act of faith is necessary for salvation, they insist that this faith need not have Jesus as its direct object (Nash, 1994, p. 123). ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It s fair to say that none of these would have existed had West Side Story not first taught us that musicals could be made from painful stories that force us to confront our most dangerous internalized philosophies. Musicals could reflect the uglier, coarser sides of human nature and warn us of the consequences of not just personal immorality but also larger social issues. This musical included several dance numbers, which were innovatively choreographed and set and also had strong links between themselves. I felt West Side Story is about many such as rage and power, belonging and frustration; but most of all it s about the scourge of prejudice, and its implications for love. West Side Story s dark theme, sophisticated music, electrifying integrated dance, and no holds barred reflection of social problems marked a turning point in American theater. The musical style combines symphonic and jazz styles and Bernstein has focussed on dissonant, chromatic and syncopated elements to create musical tension suitable for the story and its setting. • 51. If Inequality Is Increasing, Are We Likely to See More... The question assumes that there is a linear relationship between inequality and armed conflict; the rise of the former inevitably leads to the increase of the latter. However, in the absence of functioning communism or utopian egalitarianism, we need to concede that our world is full of inequalities, but not all parts of the world are equally ridden by conflict. Moreover, large N studies of civil war, conducted over the past few years, all seem to conclude that inequality is not directly linked to the risk of civil war (Collier Hoeffler, 2004: 563 595; Fearon Laitin, 2003: 75 90; Hegre, Gissinger, Gleditsch, 2003: 251 276). Contradictory results might be explained by emphasising the diversity of the term inequality . Mount (2008:3), classifies four different forms of inequality: political inequality, inequality of opportunities, inequality of treatment in society, inequality of membership in society. To this list we could add the, partly overlapping, categories of inequality of race, gender, status, class, age, income, inequality of access to resources, education and medical services. At any given place and time, the specific constellation and degree of various forms of inequality will be unique. Can we expect distinct constellations and levels of inequality to conform to the simple linear relationship suggested in the title? BesanГ§on s (2005) findings that different socio political set ups have differing results with regards to conflict are but one hint towards greater complexity. As a result, she associates herself with academics suggesting that causes for all types of civil wars and armed conflict are not necessarily parallel. Instead, she argues, a micro analysis of specific cases might prove more fruitful. A claim for complexity can be further underpinned by invoking Stewart s (2000) analysis of horizontal inequality. Structurally, one can distinguish between vertical inequality, which is based on objectively quantifiable differences between people (e.g. income, wealth, etc.) and ... • 58. The Positive And Negative Aspects Of The Influence Of... To say brand communities are selective is an understatement itself. They place their emphasis more on symbolism than substance. Therefore, the importance of branding is a critical component used by marketers to leverage and lure consumers towards building a cohesive identity (Solomon et al.,2016). A visible brandidentity, brings about a set of positive and negative aspects of brand communities for marketers. These communities have the capacity to resurrect and/or promote the brand. Having a loyal base has its pros and cons, especially for marketers who need to handle issues posed, delicately and competently to avoid any damages to the brand s image and influence. An effective product positioning strategy is heavily relied by brands to establish their brand position and differentiate itself, producing a strong competitive advantage. This exclusivity would increase sales and strengthen the long term position of the brand (Clow and Baack,2014). 2.Branding s Relevance A distinctive brand identity is relevant, differentiated and well esteemed which influences consumers perception. Brand s respect stems from establishing a positive connection, resulting in a strong brand equity. This allows brands to attain consumers loyalty, commercial success, product awareness, power and value universally (Kotler and Armstrong, 2014).
