Antony's initial idea is to create a music video for an original song while learning to produce music and improve his filming skills. However, COVID restrictions may make filming groups difficult. His second idea is a documentary on youth culture, fashion, and music tastes through interviews, but again COVID limits group filming. His third idea is a football podcast debating topics with friends, but online calls would be needed due to COVID. Antony provides a mind map and mood board for inspiration, showing diverse cultures and unity across gloomy scenery and simple album art. 2. Initial Reaction
Idea 1: my first idea which I would like to do for my FMP would be a music video, album cover and a
form of a promotional print because earlier on in the year I made a music video and really enjoyed
filming and editing However because this project is mine I wouldn’t be allowed to use somebody else's
song for promotion or anything. In that case I am thinking about producing a song and backing track for
the first time. This would be difficult because I have never made a song or used any software which isn’t
simple to create music however in the weeks I have to produce it all and create a video for it I have lots
to learn. I think that coming off of my last music video I have lots of thing which I can improve on in
filming and editing. There were also lots of ideas which I didn’t come to actually doing in my last music
video which i would like the opportunity to involve in another music video. I also think making a music
video to a song of my own would definitely help me to visualise perfectly my ideas and help me to
convey meaning through my video. I think my favourite software to use all year has been adobe
premiere pro which as I'm strongest at I think I should use in my FMP. My music video idea would be
about youth culture and how diverse peoples fashion sense is. I think for me myself who has a lot of
different friendship groups of people with different personalities and fashion senses I can see there can
sometimes be a level of toxicity between people and the choices of culture they follow however I
strongly believe that everyone should be able to listen and wear whatever they want to which is why I
think making a song and a music video showcasing the variety and beauty of how diverse everyone is in
their culture would appeal to me. I think that making a music video would be one of my best options
however under the current COVID situation I may find issues however there has to be solutions for that.
Issues I may find when creating music video is that I cannot meet in groups of people which would
mean I would have to film individuals or people from the same bubble. This would also mean I would
have to shoot things which only require myself and maybe one other person.

3. Idea 2: My second idea would be to create a documentary about youth culture in 2021 and
specifically about fashion, music taste and opinions on the different nicknames groups of
young people from ages 12 – 18. I think I would like to do a documentary on an idea like
this because This idea would involves lots of speaking points and interviews and generally a
wind up on questions on why people follow the kinds of cultures. I think it would appeal
well to young people because it would educate also that peoples personalities don’t show
as much as the way they may look. for me myself who has a lot of different friendship
groups of people with different personalities and fashion senses I can see there can
sometimes be a level of toxicity between people and the choices of culture they follow
however I strongly believe that everyone should be able to listen and wear whatever they
want to which is why I think showcasing the variety and beauty of how diverse everyone is
in their culture would appeal to me and is something would want to do a documentary
about. I would have to research and learn several techniques on how to successfully make a
documentary as it is something I've only ever watched and never made. Also an issue which
could come into way would be the COVID restrictions meaning I cannot film in a group
however things like interviews would only require 2 people including myself which should
be okay.

4. Idea 3: My third idea for my FMP would be to make a football themed podcast with
my friends involved. As I am very passionate and love to discuss and debate football all
of the time I think that an idea like this would be very good because there are so many
ideas and talking points which I could do about the sport. Ideas which I have thought
of talking about would be things such as the idea of the premier league ‘top 6’ and
whether it has change into a top 8 or 10, the fact football has become a business of
club owners over a sport which isn’t just about money, the opinions which rival fans
have upon supporters of different clubs and the overall delusion people have in
football. I think that it would also be interesting to involve somebody I know who is up
and coming and trying to reach professional level and just their mentality and some of
the challenges they have been through to get to where they are at the moment and
how they think they can reach the top level. I have never made a podcast before but
only watched them however I think doing a podcast would be a very good idea
because I am passionate about debating and football. An issue with this idea would
the fact I cannot sit everyone round a table due to the COVID-19 restrictions however,
there are always alternatives like online calls which can be recorded

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The scenery in the image seem to mostly be in a gloomy day which gives off an
impression of a sad tone
• The album covers are taken with very simple designs however have iconic things
within them to their albums and songs
• In a lot of the images there's a repetition of unity and togetherness with young
people
How will your mood board influence your final product?
With the captures from different music videos I really like the look of the shot angles
which are take which I would like to replicate for my music video. I think that the
album covers give me inspiration because It makes me think of something I can use
which looks recognisable and rememberable. The wide spread of culture and fashion
sense in the images is sort of what I want to portray in my music video where I can
showcase a range of different people and cultures.
