Idea 1: My first idea for the fmp would be to make a fashion magazine. To
make it more original I would base it around fashion trends and how clothes dip
in and out of fashion. In the magazine I would talk about the cycle of fashion
and how specific time periods are now back in and fashionable to wear. I would
dress the models in clothing to match the time period that I have spoken about
and match the aesthetics of that page with it. As well as talking about the
fashion loops and the different trends, I would also like to feature a bit of
streetwear in there as well. I would talk about the different streetwear brands
and about fast fashion and how it effects the environent. I feel like I could do
well doing a fashion magazine as clothing is one of my biggest passions and
one of my biggest strengths to do with media is photography. Premier pro photo
shop is also another one of my biggest strengths, especially when editibng
photos and stuff like that.
Ideas
Idea 2: For my second idea for the FMP would be doing a magazine about
fashion through the different time periods. In this I would go through the
different decades talking about what was fashionable and would have my
models dress up in that time period of clothing. In the magazine I would get
multiple interviews talking to different age groups and ask them about what
there favourite time for fashion was and why. I would make three double page
spreads and throught all 6 pages I would dedicate it to a specific decade. For
example, I could start with the swinging sixties and on the page would be
models wearing flares, midi dreeses and the colour scheme, font and all that
stuff would fit in with the 60's theme. I feel like im creative when it comes to
designing themes using photoshop and would b e able to reflect that time
period really well.
Ideas
Idea 3- For my third idea I would make a short documentry on the urban
culture and streetwear. It would be targeted at 15-25 year olds as that would
be the age range it would be focoused on. Thorughout the documentry I
would film different cities and the youths that hang about in them. In the
documentry I would get a range of youths to talk about the urban life and
what it means to them. I feel like this could work really well as one of my
strongest points is talking and I would be able to really get the in and outs of
youth culture. As well another one of my strong points is videoing and I feel
like I could get some nice aethetic shots to fit in with it.

Mood Board
Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
I like having the more urban run down areas behind in the photos and
having the bright colours of the outfits stand out.
I also like how urban the photos look as they have been taken in cities
and not in a studio, I feel it adds to the photo
How will your mood board influence your final product?
I feel like the outfits will definatley influence my final products as they
fit in with the style I am going for. The location pictures have also
influenced me to go to certain cities to get my photos as they really
reflect the urban theme I am trying for.
