Rationale: Throughout the year I’ve made multiple products such as a music video, an animated
pixel game, a promotional film poster and magazine cover. When making my music video I learnt
how to use premiere pro and edit videos sequences. I also learnt different camera skills in filming.
When making my pixel animated game I learned to draw pixel art and animate frame by frame. I
also developed my photoshop skills when making my poster and magazine understanding the
basics. I’ll use my filming knowledge and experience in premier to make my FMP music video.
After making my first music video I have an idea on areas I need to improve which I will execute in
this one
Project Concept: I will be making my own song with a music video; Album cover and a
promotional poster. The concept of the project is about diversity in youth culture and common
toxicity in fashion. I personally believe that no matter what someone wears or listens to, it should
be appreciated. The lyrics in the song will be visualised in a way which showcases people who
follow different cultures and wear different things. It also highlights the conflict and toxicity between
the different groups of young people. I will need to research on mixing vocals in software, different
techniques used to film a music video, existing music producers and music video producers and
the aesthetics of an album cover.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed: I will create a document where I can evaluate
the different points to my whole project and look at what went well and what I could improve on in
my next project whether that’s in production, time management, organisation or in my planning.
This process will help me highlight where I can make my next project I my media career better
than this one.
