is your FMP idea?
I’m make a fashion documentary on youths
diverse fashion cultures and how people are
influenced to dress in that way.
Why have you decided to make it?
I have strong understanding of multiple
fashion aesthetics and have friends from lots
of different fashion cultures, so I aim to show
the beauty in all fashion aesthetics and
showcase and inspire my audience to try new
fashion trends.
What about your project makes it
important to you? In today’s age there is lot of toxicity between
young people and judgement on what
people wear because its different, so I want
to find a way to turn peoples heads and
become more accepting to other fashion.
Outline some of the initial influences on
your idea/work and some potential
research targets (remember, research isn’t
just a paper based activity)
After doing a music video on diverse youth
culture in year 1 and sports fashionwear
factual project I think this is the next step
up as I can integrate the ideas from those
projects into this. I enjoy watching fashion
based youtubers such as ‘PAQ’ and
TikTok creators such as ‘wisdm8’ who
showcase clothing so I want to implement
my inspirations from them into my own
project.
What effect do you want to have on your
audience when they see your project?
I want my audience to like and appreciate the
look of different fashion aesthetics and
become influenced to try something which I
show that they have never tried before.
Describe the tone/mood/style of your
project [which production
techniques/characteristics are you
employing?]
I want to make my documentary in a social
media style with fast cuts however include a
factual aspect to it to educate my audience.

As my audience are mainly teenage I think
making it in a social media theme can make it
enjoyable to them
