How does having a positive relationship with a teacher affect the student? Students who portray
positive attitudes and earn more trust from their teachers as a result would pose this question. When I
did my Community Service Learning (CSL) placement at my Elementary/Junior High school for a
past education course, one thing I gained out of this experience was establishing relationships with not
only teachers (ie. visiting former teachers after school and observing clubs I once attended), but also
the students I tutored (namely groups of students from Grades 2 and 9 as well as a second grade class).
Putting this topic in mind, I decided to discuss the research behind the benefit as I reflect through my
experiences with the rapport I built through the perspective of these students (and assuming I took the
role of a teacher). Research shows that this often leads to higher academic achievement and
motivation as well as improved emotional and behavioural strengths and difficulties. (Raufelder,

Classic symptoms of delusional disorder are varying degrees of visual hallucinations (although not
normally as prominent as shown in the story) and olfactory hallucinations related to the delusional
theme(s) or object(s). Delusional disorder does not markedly impair psychosocial functioning or cause

How Does Surface Mining Affect The Environment
Lately, there has been a vast controversy over whether or not surface mining is helpful to the
environment. Surface mining takes less labor while also yielding more coal. However, the
destructiveness of it outweighs any possible benefits. The infrastructure and different types of
pollution associated with the mining phase disturbs the ecosystems by causing problems with wildlife,
water, and even people s homes. In order for there to be a difference in how the surface mining of coal
affects the environment, there needs to be some sort of action taken which is to have stricter controls
over mining companies such as the Vulcan Materials Company. To begin with, Vulcan s use of surface
mining endangers the environment as a whole as it leaves behind sundry negative effects. Per ton of
coal, around twenty five tons of overburden is excavated ( Surface Mining ). To remove overburden,
one must blast through the hard cap rock which, in turn, leaves the landscape withering. Normal
organic matter is prevented from getting into the soil causing a loss in vegetation and a displacement

1. Issue
A new superintendent in an urban school district believes educators are trained to run schools and
should do so with the least amount of interference possible. For this reason, an ethical crisis arises
when the district decides whether or not to close a local high school. While public relations officers
want district administration to be as transparent as possible to remain honest and open, the
superintendent and other schoolboard members want to hold meetings with no media present. This

A top down focus in development is not unique to agricultural development, much of the research on
Chinese innovation found the defining element of not only agricultural policy, but innovation policy as
