1. My media product consists of the new in trend fashion that my target audience are interested in
and would normally wear this means that my customers can relate to the artists and therefore
become inspired by the artists, resulting in them wanting to buy my magazine more.
My music magazine represents the young which is perfect for my target audience which is (17-25
year olds) and the clothing plays a big role in attracting the people who I am trying to attract, as
shown the clothing that my artist wore is very similar to what ordinary people would wear on a
daily basis. The use of the clothing brand โadidasโ was a good choice as it is a popular brand that
both males and females wear (which is what I was aiming for), meaning they are more likely to be
interested in reading about the interview about the brand on my double page spread. The use of
the Aztec patterned dress on the front cover was a also a good choice as a lot of females in that
age range (including those perhaps a bit younger and older) wear clothing similar to that and
therefore this would have the same effect, they could relate to the artists and become more
interested in the artists and what the magazine includes.
The range of different names of artists that I have included on the contents page and the front
cover also represents those in my target group as the music produced by these artists are songs
that many can relate to so those who listen to R&B music on a daily basis are represented well as
this magazine includes the main artists from the genre who produce popular songs that they
would have most likely to have herd. For example the poster I have included inside the magazine
is of a popular song in the R&B genre that many R&B fans would have herd suggesting that they
were thought about in the making of the magazine and are being represented throughout.
