The document discusses the equipment and location being used to photograph R&B artists for a magazine. It will use a Canon 7D 24-105mm lens camera instead of an iPhone camera, because it will provide better visual quality photos suitable for a magazine. The photos will be taken in a photo studio at Harris City Academy in Crystal Palace, which has adjustable lighting, a neutral background, and space for the artists to move around and add props.
Choosing a Camera and Location for R&B Artist Photos
1. For the pictures of the R&B artists I could
use a normal iPhone camera, as they are
easy to access and the devises are also
updated to have better quality cameras, or
a better, more professional camera that
has a range of different options, allows to
snap pictures in one place and be able to
zoom in and out without the vision
becoming pixelated, and is a camera that
most photographers would use.
I will be using a Cannon 7d 24-105mm
lens camera
Instead of a normal iPhone camera, I am
doing this because the Cannon 7d 24-
105mm lens camera
Will have better visual quality than the
iPhone camera and therefore will look
better in my magazine and look even more
like an original R&B magazine.
I will be shooting the photos of my R&B
artists in the photo studio at Harris city
academy crystal palace, as the phot shoot
has a range of lights so I can make the
background darker or lighter, it has a nice
neutral background that I could easily
change the colour of if I wanted to, and also
a wide space so my artist can have space to
move freely and I will also have space to
add additional props if needed.
Intro: on this post I will be discussing what equipment I
will be using and other option that could be considered.
I will also be discussing the location of when I will be
shooting my photos.
Conclusion: I have
decided which camera to
use and the location I will
be taking my photos in,
when doing this I took
into consideration the
genre and looked at
different magazine covers
to get some inspiration
and thought about where
they took their photos.
