2. Make Up
Make up was not a huge concern whilst I
was was in the production of my
photoshoot therefore I only told my
models to wear light foundation and
mascara as I wanted to enhance their
natural facial complexions. Additionally
having a natural and secure look would
attract my target audience who are
mostly not interested in make up. Rather,
they look at quality rather than quantity
which sets a challenge to what the
pictures connote rather than what they
denote.
3. Costume
Costume is a very important factor
remember whilst thinking about what you
want your models to convey. I chose
colours of clothing that were similar to
the goldish colour scheme that my music
magazine consists of (the model on the
rights outfit) Additionally I also chose an
outfit that conveyed a eye-catching and
messy pattern that would catch my target
audiences eyes and attract them over.
Additionally costume speaks a lot about
the model and what she has been
through, which helps my article a lot.
4. Props
Props is definitely a main factor for
attracting my target audience as they rely
on materialistic things to catch their
attention and meaningful quotes to make
them get interested in my magazine. The
picture to my left, for instance, wouldn't’t
look as effective if the props were not
present as the message of my picture
wouldn't’t reach through to my audience
which would prevent them from gaining
interest in that certain article.
